Diese Kraftstoffeinspritzeinrichtung weist eine Kraftstoffhochdruckpumpe und ein Kraftstoffeinspritzventil für einen Zylinder der Brennkraftmaschine auf. Die Kraftstoffhochdruckpumpe weist einen durch die Brennkraftmaschine angetriebenen, einen Pumpenarbeitsraum begrenzenden Pumpenkolben auf, wobei durch ein elektrisch gesteuertes Ventil eine Verbindung des Pumpenarbeitsraums mit einem Entlastungsraum gesteuert wird. Das Kraftstoffeinspritzventil weist ein Einspritzventilglied auf, durch das wenigstens eine Einspritzöffnung gesteuert wird und das durch den in einem mit dem Pumpenarbeitsraum verbundenen Druckraum herrschenden Druck gegen die Kraft einer in einem Federraum angeordneten Schließfeder in einer Öffnungsrichtung bewegbar ist. Die Schließfeder stützt sich einerseits zumindest mittelbar am Einspritzventilglied und andererseits zumindest mittelbar an einem Speicherkolben ab. Der Speicherkolben ist auf seiner der Schließfeder abgewandten Seite von dem im Pumpenarbeitsraum herrschenden Druck beaufschlagt und gegen die Kraft der Schließfeder in einer Hubbewegung bewegbar. Der Speicherkolben ist von einer Ausgangsstellung bei geringem Druck im Druckraum in den Speicherraum bewegbar, wobei die Ausweichhubbewegung des Speicherkolbens in den Speicherraum durch einen Anschlag begrenzt ist. Der Speicherkolben weist einen in einer Verbindungsbohrung zwischen dem Speicherraum und dem Federraum angeordneten und in den Federraum ragenden Schaftteil auf. Bei der Ausweichhubbewegung des Speicherkolbens wird durch diesen Kraftstoff aus dem Speicherraum durch einen zwischen dem Schaftteil und der Verbindungsbohrung vorhandenen Spalt in den Federraum verdrängt. Hierdurch wird eine Dämpfung der Hubbewegung des Speicherkolbens bewirkt. Die Dämpfung der Bewegung des Speicherkolbens kann dabei über den Hub des Speicherkolbens konstant sein oder derart, daß die Dämpfung zu Beginn der Ausweichhubbewegung stark ist und dann abnimmt. wird. Das Kraftstoffeinspritzventil 12 ist dabei nur für
eine kurze Zeitdauer geöffnet und es wird nur eine geringe
Menge Kraftstoff als Voreinspritzung in den Brennraum
eingespritzt. Die eingespritzte Kraftstoffmenge ist im
wesentlichen vom Öffnungsdruck des Speicherkolbens 50
bestimmt, das ist der Druck im Pumpenarbeitsraum 22, bei dem

Ausführungsbeispiel, jedoch ist die Vertiefung 168 im
Speicherkolben 150 derart ausgebildet, daß diese sich im
Speicherkolben etwa kegelförmig verengt. In der Vertiefung
168 ist ein Stützelement 180 angeordnet, das sich in der
Vertiefung 168 abstützt und an dem der gegenüber dem ersten
Ausführungsbeispiel unveränderte Schaftteil 52 zur Anlage
kommt. Das Stützelement 180 ist vorzugsweise in Form einer
Kugel ausgebildet, deren Durchmesser d größer ist als der
kleinste Durchmesser der Vertiefung 168. Abhängig vom
Durchmesser d der Kugel 180 taucht diese unterschiedlich
weit in die Vertiefung 168 ein, so daß auch die Anlage für
den Schaftteil 52 eine unterschiedliche Lage einnimmt. Die
Lage des Schaftteils 52 zum Speicherkolben 50 in axialer
Richtung ist wesentlich für den Teilausweichhub h1 des
Speicherkolbens 50, ab dem der im Querschnitt größere
Schaftabschnitt 74 des Schaftteils 52 in die
Verbindungsbohrung 53 eintaucht und damit die
Ausweichhubbewegung stark gedämft wird. Die axiale Lage des
Schaftteils 52 relativ zum Speicherkolben 50 kann durch
Verwendung einer Kugel 180 mit geeignetem Durchmesser auf
einfache Weise genau eingestellt werden. Derartige Kugeln
180 sind als standardisierte Bauteile verfügbar mit fein
abgestuften Durchmessern. Je kleiner der Durchmesser der
Kugel 180 ist, desto weiter taucht diese in die Vertiefung
168 ein und desto größer ist der Teilhub h1, bis der
Schaftabschnitt 74 in die Verbindungsbohrung 53 eintaucht.In Figure 5, the

- Fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine, having a high-pressure fuel pump (10) and a fuel injection valve (12) for one cylinder of the internal combustion engine, the high-pressure fuel pump (10) having a pump piston (18) which is driven by the internal combustion engine and delimits a pump working space (22), having an electrically controlled valve (23), which is used to control a connection of the pump working space (22) to a relief space (24), the fuel injection valve (12) having an injection valve element (28) which is used to control the at least one injection opening (32) and which can be moved in an opening direction (29) by the pressure prevailing in a pressure space (40) connected to the pump working space (22) counter to the force of a closing spring (44) arranged in a spring space (46), the closing spring (44) being supported at one end at least indirectly on the injection valve element (28) and at the other end at least indirectly on a displaceable accumulator piston (50; 150) whose side facing away from the closing spring (44) is acted on by the pressure prevailing in the pump working space (22), it being possible to move the accumulator piston (50; 150), starting from an initial position, into an accumulator space (55) counter to the force of the closing spring (44) and the yielding stroke movement of the accumulator piston (50; 150) into the accumulator space (55) being limited by a stop (54), a shank part (52) which can be moved with the accumulator piston (50; 150) projecting into the spring space (46) through a connecting hole (53) between the accumulator space (55) and the spring space (46), fuel being displaced by the accumulator piston (50; 150), during the yielding stroke movement of the latter, out of the accumulator space (55) into the spring space (46) through a gap (78) into the spring space (46) present between the shank part (52) and the connecting hole (53) and the stroke movement of the accumulator piston (50; 150) being damped as a result, characterized in that the shank part (52) has a shank section (74) with a smaller cross section arranged in the connecting hole (53) in the initial position of the accumulator piston (50; 150) and a shank section (72) with a greater cross section arranged in the accumulator space (55) outside the connecting hole (53), and in that the shank section (72) with a greater cross section enters the connecting hole (53) during the yielding stroke movement of the accumulator piston (50) into the accumulator space (55).
- Fuel injection device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the shank part (52) is configured separately from the accumulator piston (50; 150), and the shank part (52) is held in at least indirect contact with the accumulator piston (50; 150), firstly by the force of the closing spring (44) and secondly by the forces produced by the pressure prevailing in the pump working space (22).
- Fuel injection device according to Claim 2, characterized in that the shank part (52) is in contact with the accumulator piston (150) via a supporting element (180).
- Fuel injection device according to Claim 3, characterized in that the supporting element (180) is configured at least approximately as a sphere which is arranged in an at least approximately conical depression (168) in an end of the accumulator piston (150) facing the shank part (52).
- Fuel injection device according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the shank section (72) with a greater cross section enters the connecting hole (53) only after a partial yielding stroke (h1) of the accumulator piston (50; 150).
- Fuel injection device according to Claim 5, characterized in that the transition from the shank section (72) of greater cross section of the shank part (52) to the shank section (74) of smaller cross section takes place in a control edge (76) running on the exterior of the shank part (52).
- Fuel injection device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the shank section (74) with a smaller cross section of the shank part (52) is formed, starting from the shank section (72) with a greater cross section, by at least one flattened portion (75) on the circumference of the shank part (52).
- Fuel injection device according to Claim 7, characterized in that the shank section (72) with a greater cross section of the shank part (52) is configured to be at least approximately circular-cylindrical in shape.
