Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to an awning fastening strip for vehicles consisting of a profile element with a wall intended for engagement with the wall of a vehicle and a wall formed in the opposite side of the profile element groove for the insertion of a retaining rail of an awning.
Such awning fastening strips are used primarily for recreational vehicles, camping vehicles, caravans and the like. These awning mounting rails are provided for the bow area of corresponding vehicles and fastened to the vehicle wall. These are usually profile elements with a wall provided for abutment against the vehicle wall and an oppositely formed groove. In the groove, the holding rail of an awning is usually inserted in the longitudinal direction. In this way, the awning, usually for protection against rain and the like, attached to the front wall of a vehicle.
Conventional awning fastening strips have the disadvantage that they are overrun by rainwater in the state in which no awning is inserted, and act as guide profiles, which direct a large part of the incident rainwater on the underlying vehicle wall. Usually, a window is formed in this vehicle wall and is excessively charged with water. This hinders the use of the window too Ventilation purposes. In addition, the vehicle wall, especially on the window, overly dirty. Finally, the windows are exposed to excessive stress and even in the case of light leaks occurs water ingress.
In the state in which the awning is inserted, due to the difficult connection between the awning and retaining strip to throws up or as a result of frequent operation, ie. H. Insertion and removal of the awning retaining strip to slight leaks in the connection area. This considerably limits the use of the awning.
The awning rail comprises an extruded channel member and an elastomeric member mounted in the channel which serves to hold a seam provided on the periphery of conventional awnings for securing the awning securely and under a desired tension.
Die DE 197 36 852 A1 offenbart eine aufrollbare Markise eines Fahrzeugs, die hauptsächlich aus einem Kasten mit darin auf einer Achse angeordneten aufrollbaren Tuch und Knickarm besteht, wobei dieser Kasten eine Öffnung aufweist, die, in der aufgerollten Position des Tuchs, durch ein Frontprofil abgeschlossen wird, das am Ende des Tuchs befestigt ist, wobei sich die Tuchachse in Bezug auf das Frontprofil hinter dem Knickarm befindet.DE 197 36 852 A1 discloses a retractable awning of a vehicle, which consists mainly of a box with arranged therein on an axis roll-up cloth and articulated arm, said box having an opening which, in the rolled-up position of the cloth, completed by a front profile which is attached to the end of the cloth, wherein the cloth axis is located with respect to the front profile behind the articulated arm.
Die DE 29 34 557 A1 beschreibt eine Markise mit einem waagerechten Schwenkrohr, das mit einer am Ende der Markise befestigten Fallstange durch Gelenkarme verbunden und zum Heben und Senken der Markise mit einem Drehantrieb versehen und um seine Achse schwenkbar in einem Halter gelagert ist, die verschiebbar, aber undrehbar, auf einem Tragrohr sitzen, das durch Konsolen am Gebäude starr, nicht drehbar befestigt ist, wobei das Gehäuse des Drehantriebs ebenso wie die Halter verschiebbar aber undrehbar auf dem Tragrohr angeordnet ist, das durch Konsolen am Gebäude in paralleler Lage zum Schwenkrohr befestigt ist.DE 29 34 557 A1 describes an awning with a horizontal pivot tube, which is connected to a fixed to the end of the awning rod by articulated arms and provided for raising and lowering the awning with a rotary drive and is pivotally mounted about its axis in a holder which is displaceable but non-rotatable, sitting on a support tube which is rigidly fixed by brackets on the building, non-rotatably, the housing of the rotary drive as well as the holder is slidably but non-rotatably mounted on the support tube which is fastened by brackets to the building in parallel position to the pivot tube is.
Starting from the prior art described above the invention has for its object to provide an improved fixing rail for awnings, which overcomes the disadvantages described above.
For technical solution , an awning fastening strip according to
By forming a lamella, the profile strip area, in particular also the groove, is partially covered. Rainwater is removed in this way. It is thus in the event that no awning is inserted, not to excessive rain contamination of the underlying Fahrzeugwandungsbereiche. In the event that the awning is inserted, leaks due to throws, abrasions, etc. covered and the awning remains usable.
In an advantageous manner, the lamella is guided up to the wall of the profile element intended to be fastened to the vehicle wall. This results in a homogeneous transition in the wall area and leaks are avoided. With particular advantage, it is proposed that the intended for attachment to the vehicle wall wall is bent in an edge region. Preferably, the bend takes place in the direction of the free surface, so that therefore an increased voltage when attaching the awning fastening strip is produced on the vehicle. Moreover, since the bend is formed in the upper region, in this area, the lamella attaches, this is pressed in the fastening in the correct position.
In the cultivation direction, a receiving space is formed below the groove area. This is preferably done essentially by the formation of three walls, of which at least two are formed according to another proposal of the invention at an acute angle to each other. Here, a round rod, for example, for further awning attachment support, stabilization and the like can be inserted. These trained in acute angle side walls form an inclined outer surface, which extends substantially leaving a gap for awning attachment or awning passage the blade. It is thus formed a substantially closed flow profile.
In particular, the outer wall arranged at an acute angle can be beveled and extended to the underside of the profile and in particular be bent there, so that a guided water drainage is favored here.
Advantageously, all functional elements are integrated into a one-piece profile element. Preferably, it may be a plastic press. Alternatively, it may also be an extruded profile, for example made of aluminum or the like.
With the invention simple measures for improving the awning mounting strip are proposed, which can be realized with little economic effort, without increasing the production and application of a mounting bar beyond measure.
