Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Tür, insbesondere für Schiffe, mit einem als Hohlprofil ausgebildeten Rahmen und einem Türblatt. Es wird erfindungsgemäß vorgeschlagen, dass der Rahmen aus schweißbarem Material, vorzugsweise Metall besteht und eine Schweißnaht zur Verschließung des Hohlprofils vollständig innerhalb der das Hohlprofil bildenden Wandung des Rahmens liegt. Ferner betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Tür, insbesondere für Schiffe, bei dem werkstattseitig ein Rahmen gebildet und das Türblatt an diesem Rahmen befestigt wird und anschließend die komplette Tür-Einheit bestehend aus Rahmen und Türblatt auf einem Schiff montiert wird.
