Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Leichtbauteil (1), sowie auf ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zu dessen Herstellung.
Um eine hohe Belastbarkeit bei geringem Gewicht des Leichtbauteiles zu erreichen, ist erfindungsgemäß vorgesehen, dieses mit einem Außenwandkörper (12) und einem metallurgisch gebildeten Innenbereich (13) aus Metallschaum als Kernteil auszuformen.
Gemäß dem Verfahren nach der Erfindung erfolgt in einem ersten Schritt eine Herstellung eines Metallschaum enthaltenden Kernteiles, welcher im zweiten Schritt im Druckgießverfahren mit einem Außenwandkörper versehen wird.
