Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the field of low-voltage distributors of the socket type. It relates to a plug-in module and in particular a feed element for plug-in socket systems according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Low-voltage distributors of the plug-in socket type include a plug-in socket system receiving current or busbars, onto which modularized plug-in parts, such as feeder and outgoer elements or switching and protective devices with a wide variety of functions, are plugged.
  • Such low-voltage distributors allow a time and cost-saving planning and execution of a distributor and are characterized by rapid manufacturability, easy feed and easy replaceability of the male parts.
  • the system comprises at least one main socket for accommodating six busbars for the three phases and a neutral conductor and two auxiliary rails.
  • the supply of the busbars via a feed element, which consists of EP-A 229 590 is known, and in which four leads or feeders are introduced and tightened by power terminals. These supply terminals are directly connected to plugged onto the rails plug contacts. Due to the considerable feed conductor cross sections designed for the rated currents, the feeders and the feed terminals are arranged side by side, and the width of the feed element is four times the unit width.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a plug-in module for plug-in socket systems and in particular a feed element which is less wide, i. in a direction parallel to the busbars has a smaller extent than previously known elements or devices with the same function.
  • This object is achieved by a plug-in module for socket system with the features of claim 1.
  • Each connection comprises a plug-in contact and a screw-type contact intended for receiving a connecting conductor, so there are two plug-in and screw contacts per line perpendicular to the busbars. This reduces the total width of the plug-in module by a factor of two.
  • connection pair If a total of four connections are present for contacting three phase conductors and one neutral conductor, then two connections arranged one behind the other form a connection pair, with the resulting two pairs of connections being arranged next to one another and thus allowing optimum space utilization. However, since each plug contact a different busbar contacted, the two pairs of terminals are perpendicular to the busbars offset from each other.
  • connections are connected to feeders which have a large conductor cross-section for large nominal currents.
  • Such feeders can not be bent or at least only with great effort, it is therefore important to guide them as straight as possible to the respective connections.
  • all feeders should either be guided by the one or the other broad side of the feed element to the terminals or can be designed as a continuous conductor. This is achieved by the connections are arranged offset in height.
  • a longer feed conductor connected to a rear connection leads either in a straight line over a front terminal or through a tunnel-shaped opening under its screw through.
  • a feed element comprises a plug-in module according to the invention as a carrier and an insulating material housing which is screwed to the former as a cover hood.
  • breakthrough points are provided in the housing sides, in which the housing wall can be easily and irreversibly removed.
  • the screw contact comprises a movable, electrically conductive contact clip, which is pressed by means of a screw onto the connecting conductor and contacts it. Accordingly, the screw and the plug contact are conductively connected to each other by a flexible contact conductor, which is preferably welded to a side flap of the contact clip.
  • the contact clip is formed in one piece and at the same time responsible for clamping and contacting the connection conductor; these functions are perceived in known from the cited prior art feed terminals by at least two different parts.
  • the clamp-shaped contact clip penetrates a cage and at the same time comprises the screw in such a way that the latter can not be completely released and thus is not lost. It is designed so that the screw can be inserted by a reversible bending.
  • spring bronze As a material for the contact clip, which has sufficient elasticity, is simultaneously electrically conductive and allows welding of the contact conductor and can be punched and bent easily, spring bronze (CuSn6) or, to a lesser extent, spring steel is suitable.
  • Fig.1 and Fig.2 Schrägaufsicht a plug-in module according to the invention with an insulating body 1 and four terminals is shown, of which, however, only the two facing the viewer ports 2,2 'and their components are provided with reference numerals.
  • Fig.2 are the IsolierstoffMech 1 and the viewer from the right-most terminal 2 'shown in section.
  • Each terminal 2,2 'each comprises a plug contact 20,20' and a screw 21,21 ', which are connected by means of a hatched illustrated contact conductor 22,22' permanently electrically conductive.
  • the screw 21,21 ' comprises a cage 210,210' of an electrically insulating material, which is fixedly connected to the insulating body 1, a contact clip 212,212 'of an electrically conductive material and a screw 216,216'.
  • the cage 210, 210 ' forms a space enclosed on four sides. The two opposite open sides of this space define a contact direction 3.
  • One end of a not belonging to the module connecting conductor 4,4 'lead s parallel to the contact direction 3 in the said space.
  • the contact clip 212, 212 ' is moved linearly downwardly toward the insulating body 1 by means of the screw 216, 216' and clamps the end of the connecting conductor 4, 4 'between a bottom of the cage 210, 210' and the contact clip 212, 212 '.
  • the movement of the contact clip 212, 212 ' is guided by the cage 210' and the screw 216 'screwed into a thread 211' in a ceiling of the cage 210 '(only in the sectional view of the connection 2' in FIG Fig.2 visible).
  • the plug-in contact 20,20 ' has a tulip-shaped profile, and to further reduce the contact resistance between it and a busbar, in addition, a spring force of the plug-in contact 20,20' increasing clamping ring 200,200 'is provided
  • a clip-shaped contact clip 212 according to the invention is again shown separately. Between a contact portion 213 and two wing ends arranged parallel thereto, the screw is clamped. The two wings 214 are separated by a slot-like recess.
  • the contact clip 212 is made of an elastic or resilient material, so that the two fins 214 for insertion the screw can be bent to the side and then their in Figure 3 take the position shown and fix the screw. Furthermore, the contact clip 212 has a lateral tab 215, which adjoins the contact section 213 and is aligned outside the cage parallel to the contact direction 3.
  • the contact conductor 22, 22 ' is welded. Since the contact clip 212, 212 'moves when clamping the connection conductor 4, 4', the contact conductor 22, 22 'is advantageously a flexible conductor or a stranded wire. At the other end of the contact conductor 22,22 'to the plug contact 20,20' welded.
  • plug-in module as an adapter is part of a switching or protective device with additional functions, then the connecting leads lead to a functional module not shown in the figures. This can be arranged above or next to the terminals, within the same housing unit.
  • connection conductors 4, 4 ' are referred to as a feed conductor; in this case they lead directly from the feed element without the detour via another functional module.
  • Their conductor cross-section may be designed for large nominal currents and accordingly quite thick (for example, 16 mm 2 for 63 A), so that such feeders can not bend well.
  • the feeders on a straight path as possible to the consecutive in the contact direction 3 terminals 2,2 ' these are offset in height.
  • a feed conductor 4 leading to the rear connection can thus lead either past the front connection or, as in FIG Fig.1 shown, be guided by a suitable tunnel-shaped recess 217 'below the screw 21' of the front terminal 2 '.
  • FIG 4 is a feed element shown, which is completed by an insulating 5.
  • an opening 50 has been broken in the broad or front side of the insulating material housing 5 facing the observer.
  • Inventive insulating housing 5 are originally, ie before they are used, in the area of the potential breakdown points prepared in such a way that there can be easily and irreversibly remove the housing wall.
  • the edge of the break-through points is formed as a perforation or notch or is prepared by prior scratches with a sharp object accordingly.
