Description

The present invention relates to a method for producing a packaging product, and more particularly of such a product having a first blank with a plurality of panels and legs, said first blank being adapted, after folding, to form a holster for content to be packaged, and at least one second blank arranged to be housed inside said case to block said content.

We already know packaging products of this type made from two blanks, for example cardboard.

In a known embodiment, for example by the document FR-A-2 731 682, the second blank is produced in one piece with the first blank. In other words, the packaging product is produced from a single blank after folding, some parts form the holster while other parts are found inside the case for form the wedging means.

This first embodiment has the disadvantage that the wedging means are made from a blank having the same characteristics as those of the case. The material is the same, as are its characteristics mechanical. This is not satisfactory, especially when the wedging means must also serve as reinforcement.

In another known embodiment, the blank intended for forming the setting means is independent of the serving blank to make the case. For example, such products are known in which the case is made of compact cardboard while the means of wedging are corrugated cardboard intended in particular to stiffen the whole to improve its longevity.

The disadvantage is that the mounting of the product is more delicate since it requires the separate assembly of the case and means of calibration, then the establishment of these means of wedging in the case. The calibration means can then not not be positioned with the accuracy required in the case. In addition, this positioning may require additions of which have no other function.

The present invention aims to overcome these disadvantages.

More particularly, the invention aims to provide a packaging product and its manufacturing process of which resulting in greater ease of assembly, better flexibility of use as well as a saving of material.

For this purpose, the subject of the invention is a production method a packaging product comprising a first blank provided with a plurality of panels and legs, said first blank being able, after folding, to form a holster for a content to pack, and at least one second blank arranged to be housed inside said case to form cushioning means for said content, said method comprising a step of before folding said first blank, to join a only part of each of said second blanks to a single panel or a single tab of said first blank, at least one of said second blanks being composed of a plurality of panels able to form, after folding, a wedging volume inside said case.

A first advantage of the invention lies in the savings made during its use. When packing it can be used on automatic machines, users who have only one piece to handle. he Moreover, it is not necessary to add a wedging element. which simplifies the operation of the line of conditioning. In addition, users no longer only one reference to manage, the means of rigging and the case being in solidarity.

Another advantage is the flexibility of use of this product packaging. The locking means can indeed be divided into several distinct blanks inside the case. These distinct blanks can be made from materials different that may have each of the characteristics mechanics adapted to their specific function.

It is also possible to place the calibration means at places corresponding to sensitive areas of deterioration during transportation and handling. The consumption of subject matter is inferior to that of an ordinary calibration partial positioning in one or more elements. Calibration using a product according to the invention is for example more costly that a corrugated cardboard fit that has the same height that the case and covering all the walls. It results in less material falls.

When the two blanks are made from materials of the same type, for example a carton and a carton corrugated, the product can be easily recycled.

In a particular embodiment of the method according to the invention, this method comprises a folding step in a single operation said first and second blanks.

Thus, if such a second blank is composed of several panels, they can fall back on their own when folding the first blank.

According to another aspect of the invention, the subject of the invention is packaging product made by a process as described above at least one of said second blanks comprising a plurality of panels, one of which is secured to only one of the panels of said first blank.

More particularly, at least one of said second blanks can include a single panel that substantially doubles and being secured to a panel of said first blank.

At least one of said second blanks can be realized in a material selected from microcannet materials or nanocannets, cardboard, corrugated board, polyester, polypropylene, foam, metal, wood, glass, and thermoformed materials.

  • la figure 1 est une vue en plan d'un produit d'emballage selon l'invention ;
A particular embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of nonlimiting example with reference to the appended diagrammatic drawings in which:
  • Figure 1 is a plan view of a packaging product according to the invention;
  • Figure 2 is a sectional view along the line II-II of Figure 1 after folding of the wedging means; and
  • Figure 3 is a cutaway perspective view of this packaging product after complete folding.

The packaging product of Figure 1 is composed of a first blank 1 for forming the case and two blanks 2, 3 intended to form the wedging means. The blank 1 is here made of compact cardboard, while at least one of the blanks 2 and 3 can be made of corrugated cardboard.

The blank 1 is composed of a bottom closure tab 5, a top closure tab 6 and side panels having a front panel 7, a rear panel 8 and two side panels 9, 10.

The panels 9 and 7 are separated by a fold line 12, and the panels 7 and 10 are separated by a fold line 13.

The closing tab 5 extends transversely from the panel 7 from which it is separated by a fold line 14. The closing tab 6 extends transversely from the panel 8 on the opposite side to the closure tab 5 while being separated from the panel 8 by a fold line 15.

En variante, la patte de fermeture 6 pourrait s'étendre à partir du panneau 7 à l'opposé de la patte 5 (pattes opposées et non pas alternées).Alternatively, the closure tab 6 could extend from of the panel 7 opposite the lug 5 (opposed legs and not not alternated).

A gluing lug 16 extends from the panel 8 to the opposite of the panel 9 to be glued to the free end of the panel 10 when panels 8-10 are folded perpendicular to each other around the lines 11-13 to form the side wall of the case.

Two lateral lugs 17, 18 extend transversely to from the panel 9 from which they are separated by lines bending respectively 19, 20.

The legs 17 and 21 extend on the same side as the leg of closure 6 and the legs 18 and 22 extend on the same side the closing tab 5.

When the side wall of the case is shaped like this has exposed above, the legs 18, 22 and the leg of closure 5 can be folded perpendicular to these side walls to form the bottom of the case and, similarly, the tabs 17, 21 and the closing tab 6 can be folded perpendicularly to the side wall to form the cover of the case.

Alternatively, it is possible to provide an automatic bottom or semi-automatic, or a total absence of background and cover so as to form a simple sheath.

With the legs 5 and 6 and the panels 7-10 being square, the case has a cubic final shape.

The blank 2 is formed of four rectangular panels 25-28 extending side by side in the longitudinal direction. The panels 25, 26 are separated by a fold line 29, the panels 26, 27 are separated by a fold line 30 and the panels 27, 28 are separated by a fold line 31.

The panel 25 is glued to the panel 7 via a adhesive film 32. The panel 25 is shifted by relative to the median plane of the lateral surface of the holster direction of the closing tab 6. Thus, after folding panels 25-28 of the blank 2 at 90 ° from each other, this blank 2 forms a reinforcement of the upper part of the wall side of the case.

This blank 3 is glued to the paw of closure 6 via an adhesive film 33.

The blank 3 serves as a reinforcement for the closing tab 6, by example to protect it from a point that would form the object contained in the package.

The invention therefore allows great flexibility of use since it makes it possible to add material only to locations where it is needed. So in the case where we would like to strengthen the side wall of the case only in its lower and upper parts, the blank 2 could be replaced by two separate blanks glued on the blank 7 respectively close to its edge located side of the closing tab 6 and close to its edge located on the side of the closing tab 5.
