Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein mikroelektronisch-pyrotechnisches Bauteil (10), insbesondere zur Verwendung in einer Sicherheitseinrichtung für Fahrzeuge wie Anzünder fiir Gasgeneratoren oder Gurtstraffer. Das Bauteil (10) weist einen Kern (12) aus einem explosionsfähigen Material, einen das explosionsfähige Material an den Seitenflächen des Kerns umgebenden Mantel (14) aus einem massiven Halbleitermaterial und ein zwischen elektrischen Kontaktflächen (20) an einer der Stirnseiten (16) des Kerns angeordnetes Zündelement (18) auf. Das explosionsfähige Material ist aus einem porösen Brennstoff und einem in den porösen Brennstoff eingebrachten Oxidator gebildet. Der poröse Brennstoff und das massive Halbleitermaterial sind stoffgleich.
