Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de suivre à distance la présence et le temps de travail de plusieurs personnes travaillant dans des endroits différents. A l'utilisation, des cartes lues par glissement, ou par proximité, permettent à chaque travailleur d'accéder à des emplacements de travail différents par glissement de la carte dans un lecteur placé, par exemple, au tourniquet ou à la porte d'entrée. L'heure d'entrée et de départ de chaque travailleur est alors conservé par le lecteur, régulièrement interrogé par un serveur distant, via une liaison de communication hertzienne. A des intervalles réguliers, le serveur interroge, de manière séquentielle, chaque lecteur et récupère les heures de pointage enregistrées par l'unité, et ces données sont alors écrites dans une base de données adéquate, via le serveur. Dans la base de données, les temps d'arrivée et de départ de chaque travailleur dans chacun des emplacements de travail sont traités et mis sous forme d'information facilement accessible. Un utilisateur distant peut alors accéder à la base de données au moyen, par exemple, d'une liaison codée sur un réseau public, tel que l'Internet. De cette façon, il est possible de couvrir à distance plusieurs emplacements de travail et ainsi, de surveiller des travailleurs employés avec des contrats à court terme, ou des sites temporaires de travail, de n'importe quel endroit dans le monde.
