Abstract

Selon l'invention, un brin (7) est formé par réunion en parallèle d'un certain nombre de lignes fines constituées d'une fibre de résine synthétique de haute résistance. Une pluralité de tels brins (7) sont assemblés en faisceau et une couche de couverture de surface (8), constituée d'une résine synthétique résistant à l'usure, est formée de façon à couvrir la surface périphérique extérieure du faisceau obtenu, constituant ainsi un câble de levage (2). Le câble de levage (2) ainsi conçu est utilisé pour la suspension d'objets (3, 4) et leur levage par l'intermédiaire d'une poulie à gorge (1). Cette configuration réduit la tendance du câble de levage (2) à perdre sa forme, et lui permet de conserver sa résistance et d'offrir une meilleure fiabilité de suspension.
