Abstract

Beim Lackieren von Werkstücken, insbesondere von Fahrzeugkarosserien, werden in an und für sich bekannter Weise nacheinander die folgenden Lackschichten aufgebracht:

  • eine Grundlackschicht in einem elektrophoretischen Tauchverfahren, eine Funktionsschicht, eine Wasser-Basislackschicht und eine Klarlackschicht. Zur umweltfreundlichen Gestaltung dieses Verfahrens, insbesondere zur Vermeidung von Lösemittel-Emissionen und Lackschlämmen, wird die Funktionslackschicht ebenfalls in einem elektrophoretischen Tauchverfahren aufgebracht und die Klarlackschicht als Pulver-Lack elektrostatisch aufgesprüht, der nachträglich eingebrannt wird. Insgesamt lassen sich so gegenüber bekannten Verfahren die Lösemittel-Emissionen auf etwa ein Sechstel und die Lackschlammbildung auf etwa ein Drittel des früheren Wertes verringern.
