Definitions

  • the invention relates to a package for shock-proof recording of a spatial object according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • a packaging is known from US 2001/0006153 A1.
  • the known package is intended for receiving disk drives and other information storage devices and is intended to protect the contents of the package from shock. It consists of an upper and a lower section, each having outer projections which deform during shock absorption. Also in the interior of the Verpakkungsabête projections are formed, which cushion the contents of the package.
  • the two sections of the package are connected together at a hinge line and are designed at its edge so that after closing the package, a circumferential labyrinth seal is formed, which prevents the ingress of dirt into the package.
  • a packaging box made of thermoplastic material which consists of two verbundneen on a hinge line, deep-drawn, about the same size shells.
  • the one shell has a circumferential groove, in which a trained on the edge of the other shell, circumferential ridge can be inserted by clamping. It is to be created thereby a liquid-tight closure, which can be easily opened to remove the contents of the package, such as chicken, grilled pork knuckle or other heated foods.
  • the labyrinth seal and the clamp closure of the known packages offer no guarantee of absolute liquid tightness, which is required in some cases, will be discussed, so that when - after appropriate adaptation of the packaging - the packaged object is a liquid-filled bottle, in If a break occurs, the liquid may leak from the package. This is not only annoying because neighboring objects are soiled by the leaked liquid and can be made unusable, but sometimes dangerous, for example, when the liquid is a flammable or harmful liquid.
  • cytostatic vials which consists of a shatter-proof, two-piece secondary container made of polypropylene, the two parts with matching Threads are provided and can be screwed together to form a can in which the vial is supported by formed on the inner walls of the package, protruding ribs.
  • unscrewing this secondary packaging the vial becomes accessible without having to be touched by hand.
  • the packaging is only liquid-tight, if their two parts really screwed together and their sealing surfaces are undamaged, which can not be readily recognized in the closed state.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object to provide a package of the type mentioned, which ensures not only for the object to be packaged itself, but also for the environment increased protection.
  • the package according to the invention consists essentially of a Tiefziehray of an elastic material, in particular polyester, polystyrene, polypropylene or PVC, which has two shell-like halves of the same outline dimensions, each having a peripheral edge flange on which they can be sealed together and together form a cavity enclose, in which the shock-sensitive object can be accommodated.
  • an elastic material in particular polyester, polystyrene, polypropylene or PVC
  • the shock-sensitive article is supported in the cavity by protrusions projecting into the interior of the packaging. Due to the elasticity of the material from which the thermoforming tray is formed, the risk of damage or breakage in the packaging supported object largely prevented. Should this be a bottle and it actually breaks in the package, leakage of the bottle contents due to the sealing of the two halves of the package surrounding the package contents is avoided.
  • the two halves of the packaging according to the invention may be separately manufactured parts, which are joined together only after the male object has been introduced by sealing; alternatively, it may also be provided that the two halves are made as a single unit, at a hinge line in a wider one, between the two Halves extending flange are connected together. The two halves are folded upon assembly of the article to be packaged on the hinge line and then sealed together at the peripheral, now double-layer edge flange.
  • the depth profiles of the cavities forming the cavity in the two halves are unevenly formed such that the depth increases in one half in a predetermined direction along the cavity and decreases in the other half along the same direction.
  • the packaged article In the closed package, the packaged article then lies obliquely with respect to an area passing through the sealed edge flange of the two package halves.
  • the advantage of the latter variant is particularly noticeable when a bottle is packaged, because it consists in that after opening the package on the sealed flange, the bottle does not have to be taken out of the packaging, as its lid area is exposed.
  • the upper end of the bottle cap is formed for example of a perforable, elastic membrane, as usual with serum and infusion bottles, their content can be removed by appropriate removal tools, such as syringes, without having to touch the bottle before or even ,
  • the region of the packaging half adjacent to the lid of a rubber or membrane-enclosed serum or infusion bottle to be accommodated therein may be provided with a breakthrough which may optionally be closed with an adhesive label or can be closed after use.
  • a breakthrough which may optionally be closed with an adhesive label or can be closed after use.
  • a bottle 1 which is surrounded in a total labeled 2 Verpakkung, which is shown here in the open state.
  • the package 2 consists, according to FIG. 1, of a deep-drawn tray made of an elastic plastic material, for example polyester, with two substantially equal sections or halves, which are delimited from one another by a folding line 8. In the halves each wells are formed. The two sections of the tray are foldable at the fold line 8 so that the wells together enclose a cavity in which the bottle 1 is received.
  • a deep-drawn tray made of an elastic plastic material, for example polyester
  • the package may consist of two parts or halves , which are manufactured separately and only after the inclusion of an object to be packaged firmly or detachably connected to each other.
  • the two halves of the package are permanently sealed together. In this case, a connection of the package halves by hinge superfluous, which may simplify the manufacture of the packaging if necessary.
  • ribs 3 are formed, which protrude into the cavity enclosed by the wells and bear against the bottle 1, to resiliently support it in the cavity.
  • the deep drawing tray consists of a film 4, in which two recesses are formed starting from one plane.
  • the recesses 5 are each surrounded by a flat edge or flange 6, which has on the front side, ie where the recesses are formed, each having a circumferential, strip-shaped region for attaching a sealing layer 7 and for adhering thereto is determined.
  • the tray 2 has between the two wells 5 the already mentioned fold line 8, which practically divides the tray into two halves and at which the two halves can be folded.
  • the seal 7 is preferably heat-sealable or self-adhesive, but in any case liquid-tight and peelable to allow the opening of the package 2 without the aid of tools. If complete removal of the package contents is not required, the two halves of the package can also be welded together, for example by ultrasonic or high frequency welding.
  • Fig. 2 shows the package 2 in the closed state, and it is to be seen particularly clearly that both halves of the tray 2 in a free corner region each have a cutout 10, so that in the folded state of the tray on to the opposite half the same place left edge area 9 remains uncovered.
  • This embodiment facilitates the opening of the package, because it is easy to put on the said edge regions 9 with their fingers to peel the two halves of the package from each other.
  • the packaging according to the invention can also be accommodated in a carton, for example of a cuboid shape, in which the packaging is securely supported, the ribs 3 guaranteeing a good cushioning of the bottle 1 in connection with the air spaces that they form.
  • the circumferential seal 7 ensures a hermetic enclosure of the bottle 1 within the package 2, so that a break of the bottle 1 can not lead to an impairment of the environment by the bottle contents. It will be appreciated that the materials of the deep drawing tray and the seal must be inert to the bottle contents in order to perform the aforementioned function.
  • the recesses 5 are formed point symmetrical to each other, wherein the point of symmetry in the middle of the hinge line 8 between the two recesses 5 is located.
  • the depth of the depression in one half of the deep drawing tray 2 increases from one end to the other. In FIG. 1, therefore, in the right half of the foot area, which is to receive the lower portion of a bottle 1, with respect to the plane at which the two halves of the thermoforming tray 2 are to be sealed, is lower than the head portion which holds the neck portion. and to absorb the closure area of the bottle 1.
  • Fig. 3 shows very clearly that the head portion of the bottle contained in the package 1 is supported by a projecting against the bottle 1 rib 3, which rests on the bottle cover.
  • FIGS. 2 and 3 also show this embodiment has the advantage that the packaging can be stably approximately upright and it is stable in this position. This is especially true for the sealed packaging. An upright position is sometimes required, especially if sediments are to settle on the bottom of the bottle, which should not be removed when removing the contents of the bottle from above as possible.
  • the packaging has in the surface area 11 of that half which is adjacent to the lid 1a of a bottle 1 to be picked up, a breakthrough 12 that is sufficiently large that that Area of a bottle cap 1a, of a perforable membrane 1a (see Fig. 5), for example made of rubber, is closed and should be accessible to cannulas, at least approximately completely accessible.
  • This embodiment of the invention eliminates the need to remove the bottle 1 from the package if its contents are to be withdrawn with cannulas, as is common, for example, in infusion solutions or cytostatics. This represents a very significant safety aspect for the personnel who must deal with the contents of the package, because the bottle is protected by the packaging not only during storage and transport against shock, but also during their entire use.
  • the surface area 11 of the packaging adjacent to the bottle cap 1 a should be as flat as possible and, despite the opening 12, be sufficiently wide that an adhesive label 13 (see FIG. 6) can be securely attached over the opening 12 for sealing or reclosing the packaging.
  • the adhesive or adhesive which holds the adhesive label 13 on the surface 11 must, of course, be inert to the contents of the bottle if the safety function of the packaging is to be ensured as secondary packaging.
  • the bottle for their use does not have to be removed from the packaging, the edges of its two halves can be permanently sealed together. For this reason, the cutouts 10 in the edge region of the packaging, which are expedient in the first two embodiments, are dispensed with in the third embodiment of the invention.
  • FIGS. 8 to 10 provides that the packaging and a bottle packed in it as contents are coordinated with one another so that the head of the bottle 1 protrudes from the end face 11 formed on one of the packaging halves this purpose has a breakthrough 12.
  • the breakthrough of a glued or hot-sealed closure label or film 13, as known from yogurt cups, liquid-tight, which also covers the lid portion 1a of the bottle 1 and easily grasped at a gripping tab 14 and of the End face 11 and the bottle cap can be solved.
  • the entire head region of the bottle 1 is freely accessible, as can be seen in FIG. 15.
  • the bottle 1 can not move within the package, because it is, as clearly shown in Fig. 9, in the region of its shoulder 1 b of a Constriction of the packaging safely supported.
  • the packaging according to the invention can be very easily manufactured and processed in all the illustrated embodiments, and with a suitable design of the cross-sections of the depressions, a space-saving stacking of the packaging parts is also possible. This also applies to the one-piece mold, which is stackable to save space in the unfolded state of FIG.
  • the material for the deep drawing tray 2 is preferably PET. This material is transparent, so that even before opening the package can be detected, for example, if a bottle contained in the package damaged and possibly partially leaked. This is especially important if the contents of the bottle are a dangerous liquid, because then it may be necessary to omit the packaging at all.
