Abstract
Description
- The present invention relates to lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, in particular for creating pre-selected luminous effects.
- Numerous types of wall or ceiling lighting equipment have been produced in the field of lighting, equipped with a containment body for one or more luminous sources for the outward emission of light.
- In some case, however, the necessity arises for a particular light emission which, in addition to its normal lighting function, also enhances the environment to be illuminated.
- In particular, lighting equipment capable of providing a differentiated luminous effect which creates specific luminous effects, possibly also pre-selected upon the request of the user, has not as yet been set up.
- The equipment with luminous effects so far available, is only suitable for creating well localized effects, for example in the form of single luminous strips or beams, which do not provide an optimum illumination.
- The objective of the present invention is to produce lighting equipment which provides an effective and optimum illumination, also creating a differentiated luminous effect.
- Another objective of the present invention is to create specific luminous effects, of the pre-selected type and suitable for the environment for which they are destined.
- A further objective of the present invention is to produce lighting equipment which, in addition to a differentiated luminous effect, provides a clear and well-defined illumination.
- These and other objectives, according to the present invention, are achieved through lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, in particular for creating pre-selected luminous effects, as described in claim 1.
- Further characteristics of the present invention are the object of the dependent claims.
- The characteristics and advantages of lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, according to the present invention, will be more clearly understood from the following description, provided for illustrating but non-limiting purposes, with reference to the enclosed figures, wherein:
- figure 1 is a perspective view of lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect according to the invention in a first illustration,
- figures 2 and 3 are two different sectional views of the equipment as shown in figure 1,
- figure 4 is a section of a detail of a quarter of an external containment body, having in section an elliptic form, of the equipment as shown in figure 1,
- figures 5 and 6 are front and side elevation views of a second illustration hanging from the ceiling,
- figure 7 is a perspective view of a third illustration of lighting equipment with the same innovative concept as the previous ones, hanging from a thread.
-
- With reference in particular to figures 1, 2 and 3, the lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, according to the invention, is indicated, as a whole, with the
number 11. - Said
lighting equipment 11 with a differentiated luminous effect is particularly advantageous for creating luminous effects, also of the pre-selected type on the part of the user, as can be seen from the following description. - The
lighting equipment 11 comprises anexternal containment body 12, suitable for housing at least one luminous source, such as alamp 13 to which adouble spotlight 30 is associated. - The
spotlight 30 has aperforated surface 31 and a spacing or staff bead 32 between its two parts. In this way, the light emitted (from the perforated surface and spacing) illuminates the internal surface of the whole equipment, enhancing the entire volume. Thisluminous source 13 is generally sustained by a relative supporting base orlamp holder 14, suitably supported inside theexternal containment body 12. - In particular, according to the invention, the
external containment body 12 has a rounded shape and consists of transparent material, such as polycarbonate or the like. It can obviously also be made of glass, or even crystal, even if, in this case, the cost increases considerably. - Figures 1, 2 and 3 show how the
external containment body 12 is in the form of an ellipsoid and consists of twoparts parts body 12 there is a holding structure, schematized in 15 which helps to maintain the two parts and support the base orlamp holder 14, and all that is necessary for the correct functioning of theequipment 11. - The invention also proposes that said
equipment 11 have a series of localized areas with a differentiated transparency in itsexternal containment body 12, for the emission of light at different intensities. In the example shown in figures 1, 2 and 3, said series are located in the portions orzones external body 12 and are located by the axes X and Y. Theseportions portions - Furthermore, in the example of figures 5-7, the
external body 12 also has an "equatorial" perimeter or central annular zone, where there is at least one further portion with a differentiatedtransparency 19 with respect to the above three series of localizedportions differentiated transparency 19 in an annular equatorial position, also provides a reinforcement capable of supporting the lighting equipment with greater safety. - The whole equipment is arranged so as to allow a particular and varying light diffusion emitted by the internal
luminous source 13. - Figure 1 shows how said equipment can be hung from the ceiling (not represented) by means of
suspension elements 21, such as cables. Thesecables 21 are, for example, fixed to the perimeter zone where the twoparts internal holding body 15 or possibly by means ofsuitable hooking elements 22 fixed to theexternal containment body 12. - In this embodiment, the equatorial perimeter or central
annular zone 19 has been eliminated and the sectors are therefore entire in the twoparts - Finally, figure 7 shows a further third example of lighting equipment which utilizes the same innovative concept as the previous ones, but in this case, it is hung to a ceiling (not shown) by means of a
cable 20. The external body, in this case, only has the additional portion or equatorial perimeter or centralannular zone 19, and the rest of the body is smooth and transparent. - In figures 5 and 6 the
containment body 12a consists of only one of the two parts, closed and fixed to aceiling 23 forming a half-ellipsoid. The external body, as mentioned above, has both the series of localizedportions annular zone 19. - It is evident that the external containment body can also be simply a sphere, semi-sphere or similar, without being excluded from the scope of this invention.
- There should be at least two series of localized portions with a differentiated transparency for a light emission of different intensities, for obtaining the minimum luminous effect according to the invention.
- The light emission forms clear and uniform rays which are emitted from the
equipment 11, according to the invention, in preferential directions. - The characteristics of the lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, in particular for creating pre-selected luminous effects, are clearly illustrated by the above description.
- This pre-selection is, in fact, effected by simply arranging a chosen number of series with a definite density.
- There can even be portions in which the external containment body is simply transparent, so as to create a simple luminous effect, similar to that produced by known devices which can be added to those created by the above series.
- From the above description, the object of the invention, together with its advantages, are evident.
- It is also clear that numerous variations can be applied to the lighting equipment with a differentiated luminous effect, in particular for creating pre-selected luminous effects, object of the present invention, without excluding any of the novelty principles which characterize the inventive idea illustrated.
- In the practical embodiment of the invention, the materials, forms and dimensions of the details illustrated can vary according to the demands and can be substituted with other technically equivalent alternatives.
