Abstract

The holder (1) consists of first and second supple containers (2, 2') attached to a plate (10) equipped with a mobile distributor (30) that can be switched from a position in which the containers are isolated from the distributor outlet (32) to a position in which they are both connected to it. The movement of the distributor opens two plugs (59, 59') separating the containers from the outlet, with a tamper-proof ring (31) preventing the distributor from being opened without it showing.

Description

The present invention relates to an assembly for the separate packaging of two products and for their joint distribution, with a view to producing a composition, in particular a cosmetic composition, as used for example in the field of hair dyeing. Other applications however can be envisaged.

In the field of hair coloring, the preparation of a large number of coloring compositions involves the extemporaneous mixing of two products (a dye and an oxidant) which, for reasons of stability, must be kept away from one another. other until the moment of use of the coloring composition.

In recent years have seen, in the field of hair coloring, the appearance of mixing devices, allowing, more or less automatically, the separate packaging of two products, and their extemporaneous mixture at the time of use of the coloring composition. Such systems are expensive and complicated to make. The tightness between the two compartments containing each product, is sometimes difficult to achieve. In addition, it is sometimes difficult to find materials compatible with the compounds to be packaged, because of the high aggressiveness of at least some of the latter.

There are also systems of a more "manual" operation in which each of the products to be mixed is packaged in a packaging of its own, in particular in the form of a tube or a bag. In order to achieve mixing, the consumer pours the contents of one of the packages into the other, or the contents of the two packages in a third, within which the mixture is made.

US 6,065,643 discloses a two-tube system of the prior art, corresponding to the preamble of appended claim 1. All these operations are tedious. The risk is great to get dirty when handling products. The risk is also great for the consumer does not respect the correct dosage and is tempted to use the quantities needed for a single application for two or more applications. This results in hair coloring that does not conform to that expected.

Also, is it an object of the present invention to provide a device for the separate packaging and the joint distribution of two products, which solves all or part of the problems mentioned above with reference to the conventional systems discussed above. .

It is particularly an object of the invention to provide such a device which is simple to use and can be produced at low cost.

It is another object of the invention to provide such a device which limits the risks of misuse, and which thereby reduces the risks of obtaining a mixture whose properties do not conform to what is expected. .

Still other objects will appear in the following detailed description.

  • a) un premier récipient à parois souples contenant le premier produit ;
  • b) un second récipient à parois souples, extérieur au premier, et contenant le second produit ;
  • c) une platine sur laquelle sont montés les premier et second récipients ;
According to the invention, these objects are achieved by providing a device for the joint distribution of first and second separately packaged products, comprising:
  • a) a first soft-walled container containing the first product;
  • b) a second flexible-walled container, external to the first, and containing the second product;
  • c) a plate on which are mounted the first and second containers;
  • d) a dispensing member movable with respect to the plate and able to pass the device irreversibly from a first configuration in which the first and second containers are isolated from at least one dispensing orifice formed by said dispensing member, in a second configuration in which the first and second containers are in communication with said (or said) orifice (s) distribution.

Thus, in the second configuration of the device, in response to pressure exerted on the flexible walls of the first and second containers, which are arranged adjacent to each other, the first and second products can be distributed together.

The joint output of the two products for the production of a composition, especially a cosmetic composition, can be done via a single dispensing orifice, upstream of which there may be a mixing zone in which the two products are brought into contact beforehand. to be distributed in mixed form.

Preferably, the term "irreversible" reflects the fact that the return of the second configuration to the first is made impossible whatever the handling of the dispenser member, it being understood that, although it is not impossible to make travel to the dispensing member the reverse movement of the one that allowed the passage of the device from the first configuration to the second, this reverse movement will have no effect on the communication between the containers and the dispensing orifice, and therefore will not cause the return of the device in the first configuration.

Alternatively, the products exit via two dispensing orifices arranged next to each other, the bringing into contact of the two products being done directly on the surface to be treated in the case where the dispenser member is used as a applicator tip, or in an auxiliary container in which the mixture can be homogenized manually. The choice of this or that configuration depends in particular on the viscosity of the products and their ability to mix quickly or not.

The fact that the transition from the first configuration to the second is irreversible reduces the risk of the consumer using only part of the content of the device. Indeed, once the device is in the second configuration, it is difficult to envisage that the device is kept for use other than in the context of a single use.

The single plate on which the two containers are mounted allows, by a simple movement of the dispensing member relative to the plate, in particular axial depression or rotation, to open at the same time the two containers. The gesture is therefore greatly simplified.

Preferably, the two containers, especially when they are in the form of sachets, formed by the joining of two sheets welded along their peripheral edges, are arranged with a first main face of the first bag in contact (or substantially in contact) a second main face of the other bag. The first and second faces may be directly opposite one another, or separated by a separation means in the form of a thin plate.

For the joint distribution of the two products, it is sufficient to exert simultaneous pressure on the flexible walls of the two containers, so as to force the joint outlet of the two products through the or orifices of distribution.

For this purpose, the plate is preferably configured so that the containers, especially when they are in the form of bags of relatively small thickness, are superimposed so that, preferably with one hand, the two bags can be compressed to cause the expulsion of their contents.

Alternatively, means, in particular in the form of two plates, arranged on either side of the two superposed bags, can be used to facilitate the joint expulsion of the two products contained in each of the containers. Such plates are preferably of dimensions close to those of the bags.

Advantageously, the dispensing member comprises first and second opening portions, adapted, in response to a movement, in particular axial movement, of the dispensing member relative to the plate, to come into engagement with closure elements, located well before the (or) orifice (s) of distribution, and associated with inlet / outlet passages of the first and second containers, so as to put them in fluid communication the (or) orifice (s) of distribution, said engagement being unidirectional.

Thus, the engagement of the opening portions with the closure elements, for example results from a depression of the dispensing member relative to the plate. Assuming that a movement in the opposite direction is possible of the dispensing member with respect to the plate, then such a movement would have no effect on the closure elements since the engagement is only one-way.

Preferably, the first (respectively second) opening portions consist of the free end of first (respectively second) tubular elements formed by the dispensing member and communicating with the (or) orifice (s) distribution.

Such tubular portions are of sufficient length to engage with said closure members, which are preferably disposed within their respective containers.

Advantageously, the free end of the first and second tubular elements is crenated so as to promote communication between the first (respectively second) containers and the (or) orifice (s) distribution when the device is in the second configuration. This characteristic is advantageous especially when, as we shall see in detail later, the closure elements are coupled to binding strips whose intrinsic elasticity tends to bring them back to a position corresponding to the first configuration of the device.

The dispensing member may comprise locking means adapted to cooperate with corresponding means of the plate to immobilize at least axially, the dispensing member relative to the plate when the device is in the second configuration. This solution is advantageous insofar as it is one of the means that can be implemented to ensure the irreversibility of the passage of the device from the first to the second configuration. It is also advantageous when said irreversible character is ensured by unidirectional engagement of the opening portions of the dispensing member and the closure elements. Indeed, without such locking, the dispenser member could be detached from the rest of the device, and could make it difficult to manipulate the device for the joint distribution of the two products.

Preferably, the device comprises a burglar indicator consisting of a non-repositionable element, in particular in the form of a strippable strip. Thus, as the tamper indicator has not been removed, the dispenser member can not be moved relative to the platen for opening the two containers.

Advantageously, the closure elements associated with the inlet / outlet passages of the first and second containers comprise a coupling means adapted to cooperate, in particular by snapping, with corresponding means of a suitable tool, before the introduction of the dispensing member, driving the first and second closure members from their position in which the first and second containers communicate with the outside, to their position in which they isolate the first and second containers from the outside. Thus, when the filling of the containers is performed via the inlet / outlet passages, these coupling means make it possible, after filling, closing said passages by said closure elements before setting up the dispenser member.

Preferably, the tool consists of a filling rod of which at least a portion is adapted to be introduced into the inlet / outlet passages of the containers, so as to fill them. In the event that before filling, the first and second containers are isolated from the outside by the closure elements, the filling rod can be used during its introduction to engage with the closure elements so as to chase them in order to put the first and second containers in communication with the outside. After filling, the filling rod, during its withdrawal movement, causes the closure elements in the position where they isolate the first and second containers from the outside.

Leur largeur peut être de l'ordre de 5 cm.Preferably, said first and second containers are configured in the form of bags whose walls are formed of at least one layer of a thermoplastic or metal material. Such bags are generally of substantially rectangular shape. As an indication, their length may be of the order of 10 cm. Their width can be of the order of 5 cm.

De tels inserts sont décrits notamment dans la demande WO/9905446.Advantageously, the inlet / outlet passages of said first and second containers and their associated closure elements are formed by first and second inserts mounted, in particular by snapping, on said plate. Such inserts are described in particular in the application WO / 9905446.

Preferably, the closure elements associated with the inlet / outlet passages of the first and second containers are connected to their respective insert by at least two flexible connecting strips. These binding strips are advantageous during filling where it is desirable to be able, before filling, to remove the closure elements and then to be able to return them to position after filling.

The first and second containers may be mounted on the first, respectively second, inserts, especially by gluing or welding.

The first product may be a dye, the second product may be an oxidant, said composition to be produced at the end of the mixture being a hair dye composition.

The invention consists, apart from the arrangements described above, in a certain number of other arrangements which will be explained below, with reference to nonlimiting exemplary embodiments, described with reference to the appended figures, among which:
  • Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a device according to a preferred embodiment of the invention;

  • FIGS. 6A-6C illustrate the various steps to be implemented when using the device of FIGS. 1 and 2.

In general, the X-axis device 1, shown in the perspective views of FIGS. 1 and 2 and in the sectional views of FIGS. 3A-3B and 4A-4B, comprises two identical bags 2, 2 'arranged one next to the other and mounted on a turntable 10.

The first bag 2 contains an oxidation dye. The second bag 2 'contains an oxidant.

On the plate 10 is disposed a dispensing member 30 having a tamper band 31 to be removed before the first use. The dispensing member 30 has a dispensing orifice 32 of elongate cross-section.

The bags 2 and 2 'are formed by superposition of two identical sheets and by welding said sheets along their bottom and their two longitudinal edges. The end opposite the bottom of each of the bags is closed by an insert 50, 50 ', which can be glued or welded between the two sheets defining each of the bags 2 and 2'. The sheets forming the bags can be formed from an aluminum complex and a plastic material, heat-sealable with itself.

The insert 50 is made of a single thermoplastic part, obtained by injection molding.

The outer surface of the cylindrical skirt 51, in the vicinity of the upper end of the insert 50 comprises a fastening bead 53 All around the cylindrical skirt 51, substantially at the upper quarter of the height of the insert 50 is formed a transverse wall 54 of rectangular shape with two rounded ends. Under the wall 54, the cylindrical skirt 51 is connected to two wings 55, 56, arranged in the same plane containing the longitudinal axis of the insert 50. The thickness of the wings 55 and 56 gradually decreases toward their opposite end. at the skirt 51.

In the vicinity of its lower end, the cylindrical skirt 51 is of smaller section, and comprises on its inner surface an annular groove 57 adapted to snap cooperating with an annular bead 58 formed on the outer surface of a hollow plug 59 intended for insert inside the axial passage 52 so as to close it. The inner surface of the cap also has an annular groove 60 whose function will be explained in detail later. The plug is connected by two flexible connecting strips 61 and 62 to each of the wings 55 and 56 of the insert.

Les références numériques affectées à l'insert 50' sont celles affectées à l'insert 50 auxquelles on a rajouté un "prime".The insert 50 'is identical to the insert 50 and therefore, its description will not be repeated. The numerical references assigned to the insert 50 'are those assigned to the insert 50 to which a "prime" has been added.

A sectional view of the inserts (in their closed position) is shown in Figure 3B. A sectional view of the inserts (in their open position) is shown in Figure 4B.

In Figure 2 also, the inserts 50 and 50 'are shown in their open position.

The plate 10, of substantially rectangular cross section, comprises a transverse wall 11 on a surface of which are formed two recesses 12 and 13 of shape corresponding to the shape of the transverse walls 54 and 54 'of the inserts 50 and 50'. The wall 11 is traversed in the center of each of the recesses 12 and 13 by a passage 14 and 15 delimited by four portions of skirts 16 in an arc whose inner surface forms, opposite the wall 11, a bead of hooking 17 adapted to cooperate by snapping with the beads 53 and 53 'of the inserts 50 and 50'.

A cet effet, chaque portion de jupe 18 comprend sur sa surface extérieure un premier bourrelet d'encliquetage 19 adjacent à la paroi transversale 11 et un second bourrelet d'encliquetage 20 disposé au voisinage du bord libre des portions de jupe 18.On the side of the passages 14 and 15, the transverse wall 11 of the plate 10 is bordered by four skirt portions 18 which, as will be seen later, are used for the attachment of a dispenser member 30. For this purpose each skirt portion 18 comprises on its outer surface a first snap-fitting bead 19 adjacent to the transverse wall 11 and a second snap-fitting bead 20 disposed in the vicinity of the free edge of the skirt portions 18.

On its surface turned away from the passages 14 and 15, the transverse wall 11 comprises, centered on the major axis of its cross section, two grooved zones 21 and 22 whose function will be explained in detail later.

Platen 10 is also obtained by injection molding a thermoplastic material.

Au delà des épaulements 33 et 34, la section transversale de l'organe de distribution 30 diminue progressivement en direction de l'orifice de distribution 32.The dispensing member 30 is of transverse section, in the vicinity of its base, similar to the cross section of the plate 10. At substantially mid-height, the dispensing member 30 forms two shoulders 33 and 34 centered on the major axis of the cross section of its rectangular base. The outer surface of the shoulders 33 and 34 is ribbed. Beyond the shoulders 33 and 34, the cross section of the dispensing member 30 gradually decreases towards the dispensing orifice 32.

A l'opposé de l'orifice de distribution 32, l'organe de distribution 30 est relié à une bande d'inviolabilité 31 de section transversale similaire à la section transversale de la platine 10.Opposite the dispensing orifice 32, the dispensing member 30 is connected to a tamper-evident band 31 of cross section similar to the cross section of the plate 10.

The dispensing orifice 32 communicates with a first end of two tubular elements 35, 36 aligned along the minor axis of the cross section of the base of the dispensing member 30.

The free end of the tubular elements 35 and 36 has a crenellated edge 37 and 38. The outer section of the tubular elements 35 and 36, as well as their length, are such that they can be introduced inside the passages 52 and 52 'of inserts 50 and 50 'and that their serrated edges 37 and 38, after removal of the tamper band 31, can come into engagement with the upper edge of the plugs 59 and 59' so as to clear the passages 52 and 52 '.

The inner surface of the side wall of the dispensing member 30 comprises, in the vicinity of its edge adjacent to the tamper-evident band 31, a peripheral bead 39 adapted, as can be seen in FIG. 3A, to cooperate by snapping-in. with the peripheral bead 20 of the plate 10 before removal of the tamper-evident band. In this configuration, a bead 40 formed in the vicinity of the lower edge of the tamper-evident band 31 is in snap engagement with the bead 19 of the plate.

As can be seen in FIG. 4A, after having previously torn off the tamper evident band 31, a pressure exerted axially on the dispensing member 30 causes an axial movement of the latter and the engagement of the bead 39 of the dispensing member 30 with the bead 19 of the plate 10. Preferably, the gripping force between the beads 39 and 19 is such that, except to exert a force incommensurate with normal conditions of use, snapping between the beads 39 and 19 can not be unhooked.

A sectional view of the device 1 in the closed position is shown in Figure 3A. In this position, the insert 50 (as well as 50 ') is as shown in Figure 3B.

A sectional view of the device in the dispensing position is shown in FIG. 4A. In this position, the insert 50 (and 50 ') is as shown in Figure 4B.

Les figures 5A-5E auxquelles il est maintenant fait référence illustrent les principales étapes de remplissage du dispositif qui vient d'être décrit en référence aux figures précédentes.FIGS. 5A-5E, to which reference is now made, illustrate the main filling steps of the device which has just been described with reference to the preceding figures.

In FIG. 5A, the sachets 2 and 2 'equipped with their inserts 50 and 50' are mounted on the plate 10. At this stage, the inserts 50 and 50 'are in the configuration of the Figure 3B in which the plugs 59 and 59 'seal the lower ends of the passages 52 and 52'. The latter do not communicate with the bags 2 and 2 '.

In FIG. 5B, a filling tool 80 comprising two tubular rods 83, 84 held at a suitable distance from each other by a separator 85, is engaged with the device 1. During this engagement, the rods 83 and 84 are introduced into the passages 52 and 52 'until the head of the filling rods engages in the plugs 59 and 59'. At this moment, a bead 81, 82 formed by the filling rods snaps into engagement with the grooves 60 and 60 'of the plugs 59 and 59'.

By continuing to exert axial pressure by means of the filling rods, the plugs 59 and 59 'disengage passages 52 and 52'. The communication is established between the filling rods 83 and 84 and the bags 2 and 2 '.

In FIG. 5C, the products brought via the filling rods 83 and 84 are introduced into the bags 2 and 2 ', via the orifices 86 and 87 of the filling rods 83 and 84, and until these fill completely. last.

Cette position est illustrée à la figure 5D.After filling, the filling rods 83 and 84 are removed in an axial movement in the opposite direction to the bags. In doing so, and because of the snap between the beads 81 and 82 of the filling rods with the grooves 60 and 60 'of the plugs 59 and 59', the latter are reassembled to fit into the passages 52 and 52 inserts 50 and 50 '. The communication is then interrupted between the passages 52, 52 'and the bags 2 and 2'. This position is illustrated in Figure 5D.

In FIG. 5E, the dispensing member 30 is mounted on the plate 10 by snapping the beads 39 and 40 of the dispensing member 30 with the beads 19 and 20 of the plate 10.

Les figures 6A-6C auxquelles il est maintenant fait référence, illustrent les étapes d'utilisation du dispositif 1 qui vient d'être décrit précédemment.FIGS. 6A-6C, to which reference is now made, illustrate the steps of using the device 1 which has just been described above.

In FIG. 6A, the tamper-evident band 31 of the dispensing member 30 is torn off.

In FIG. 6B, by grasping the device with both hands between the ribbed zones 33, 34 of the dispensing member, and the ribbed zones 21, 22 of the plate 10, the user causes the depression of the distribution 30 until the bead 39 comes into engagement with the bead 19 of the plate 10.

Cette configuration du dispositif correspond à celle représentée en coupe à la figure 4A.In doing so, the crenellated edge 37 and 38 of the tubular portions 35 and 36 of the dispenser member abuts against the free edge of the plugs 59 and 59 ', until it disengages with the passages 52 and 52'. The communication is thus established between the dispensing orifice 32 and the bags 2 and 2 '. This configuration of the device corresponds to that shown in section in Figure 4A.

In this configuration, the annular seal between the outer surface of the tubular portions 35 and 36 of the dispensing member 30 and the inner wall of the inlet / outlet passages 52, 52 'of the bags 2, 2' can be provided by a bead / groove arrangement.

The repositioning of the plugs 59 and 59 'in their position in which they isolate the bags 2 and 2' from the dispensing orifice 32 is made impossible due to the unidirectional engagement of the tubular portions 35 and 36 with the plugs 59 and 59 '. Indeed, even assuming that the user manages to disengage the beads 39 of the dispenser member and 19 of the plate 10, then the dispenser member 30 could be removed from the plate 10 without causing the repositioning plugs 59 and 59 '.

In FIG. 6C, the user turns the device over a container in which the mixture is to be made, and pressurizes the sachets 2 and 2 'between his hands so as to cause the two products to exit together through the 'orifice distribution 32, via the tubular portions 35 and 36 of the dispenser member, and until complete emptying of the contents of the two bags.

Alternatively, the joint distribution of the two products is done directly on the hair or on the bits to be colored, the dispensing member 30 being used as an applicator tip.

In the foregoing detailed description, reference has been made to preferred embodiments of the invention. It is obvious that variations may be made without departing from the spirit of the invention as claimed hereinafter. In particular, in the embodiment just described, the bags 2 and 2 'are oriented parallel to the plane containing the major axis of the cross section of the plate 10. According to one alternative, the bags are oriented parallel to the plane containing the small axis of the cross section of the plate 10. This alternative has the advantage of making easier the setting in motion of the dispensing member 30 to open the bags 2 and 2 '. According to another alternative, the cross section of the plate 10 as well as the base of the dispensing member 30 is of other than rectangular shape, in particular circular.
