Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Abscheidung einer Zink-Nickel-Legierung aus einem Zink-Nickel-Elektrolyten, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, das dem Elektrolyten zur Erweiterung des anwendbaren Stromdichtebereichs wenigstens eine aromatische Carbonsäure, deren Salze und/oder deren Derivate oder wenigstens eine aliphatische Carbonsäure, deren Salze und/oder deren Derivate, oder wenigstens eine aromatische und/oder aliphatische Carbonsäure, deren Salze und/oder deren Derivate zugegeben werden. Ferner wird ein für dieses Verfahren geeigneter Elektrolyt angegeben. Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren ermöglicht es in vorteilhafter Weise, daß brauchbare Zink-Nickel-Legierungen über einen weiten Stromdichtebereich abgeschieden werden können, so daß auch die Beschichtung von profilierten Werkstücken möglich ist.
