Abstract

Lances are arranged in groups, each with its own fluid supply. An Independent claim is included for the corresponding method of grouped distribution of pumps and pumping power. Preferred features: There is a common pump (26) and drive, for each group in the tank (1). A suitable pump and drive is provided for each single-lance group. Each lance (10) used in the arrangement, has a pump delivering fluid through its interior, a pump connection and a pump drive. Pump and drive are directly connected to the lance. Direct connection obviates individual couplings. Nozzles and/or screws(s) on the lance, generate flow.
