Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an arrangement for the electrical connection of a lamp.
  • the present invention relates more particularly to an arrangement for the electrical connection of a lamp, in particular in a motor vehicle headlamp, of the type in which the lamp comprises axially at the front a light source element and at the rear a fitted base.
  • fixed connection terminals of the type in which the lamp is mounted in a holder through a hole and is electrically connected to a power supply beam by contacting the fixed terminals with associated connection terminals carried by a terminal block.

  • the lamp has contact blades oriented axially towards the rear.
  • the contact blades are inserted axially into the associated sockets of the lamp holder and then the lamp holder is fitted into a complementary receptacle arranged at the rear of the projector.
  • connection elements of the projector During the manufacture of the connection elements of the projector, it is generally expected a significant length of electrical son to facilitate the handling of the lamp holder and the lamp during the connection.
  • the electrical son are misplaced inside the projector. They may for example be trapped in the fasteners of the lamp on its support or be stuck between the lamp and the reflector of the projector. These situations can cause the projector to malfunction.

Description

The present invention relates to an arrangement for the electrical connection of a lamp.

The present invention relates more particularly to an arrangement for the electrical connection of a lamp, in particular in a motor vehicle headlamp, of the type in which the lamp comprises axially at the front a light source element and at the rear a fitted base. fixed connection terminals, of the type in which the lamp is mounted in a holder through a hole and is electrically connected to a power supply beam by contacting the fixed terminals with associated connection terminals carried by a terminal block.

Generally, the mounting and connecting elements of a motor vehicle headlamp lamp are arranged in the following manner.

Electrical wires from the vehicle power harness arrive near the back of the projector and are connected to the connection sockets of a lamp holder.

The lamp has contact blades oriented axially towards the rear.

The contact blades are inserted axially into the associated sockets of the lamp holder and then the lamp holder is fitted into a complementary receptacle arranged at the rear of the projector.

L'une des principales raisons expliquant les difficultés rencontrées pour réaliser la connexion électrique dans ce type d'agencement est que la manoeuvre de connexion doit être réalisée « en aveugle ».One of the main reasons for the difficulties encountered in making the electrical connection in this type of arrangement is that the connection operation must be performed "blindly".

Indeed, the accessibility of the lamps that equip the projectors is often bad which makes difficult the change of these lamps, in particular the manual operations to mount, or disassemble, the lamp, and the manual operations to achieve the connection or the electrical disconnection of the lamp.

In addition, these operations must be able to be performed by the driver of the motor vehicle. Therefore the manipulations must be simple and prevent errors of assembly and / or connection, while ensuring the safety of the driver and reliable operation of the lamp.

During the manufacture of the connection elements of the projector, it is generally expected a significant length of electrical son to facilitate the handling of the lamp holder and the lamp during the connection.

Therefore, when the lamp holder is nested in its receptacle, it happens that the electrical son are misplaced inside the projector. They may for example be trapped in the fasteners of the lamp on its support or be stuck between the lamp and the reflector of the projector. These situations can cause the projector to malfunction.

To solve these problems, it is known for example to use a lamp holder with internal connections such as those described in the documents. DE-U-298.23.160 and EP-A-0898114 .

This type of arrangement is used in particular in direction indicator lights and in adjustable reflector projectors.

In this type of arrangement, electrical wires for connection to the vehicle power harness are arranged in the frame of the projector and are connected to connection terminals arranged in a receptacle carried by the rear face of the reflector.

The axial contact blades of the lamp are inserted into the corresponding sockets of a suitable lamp holder which has connection terminals complementary to those carried by the receptacle.

The lamp holder equipped with the lamp is fitted into the receptacle by an axial movement towards the front, then a pivoting movement of the lamp around its axis until the terminals of the lamp holder come into electrical contact with the lamp. the associated terminals of the receptacle and make the connection.

These devices are not completely satisfactory. Indeed, problems of reliability may appear in use due in particular to their complex structure.

The operations necessary for the connection of a lamp according to this arrangement present risks of errors which can lead to a bad connection of the lamp or to the deterioration of the elements constituting the arrangement.

Le document US-A-4573754 divulgue un agencement de connexion électrique de lampe, selon le préambule de la revendication 1.The document US Patent 4573754 discloses an electrical lamp connection arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.

It is also known from the patent US 4,804,343 a lamp electrical connection arrangement which uses a terminal-type intermediate element between the power supply harness and the back of the lamp.

In addition, the high cost of these devices is penalizing.

The invention aims to remedy these drawbacks by proposing an economical arrangement which makes it possible to make the electrical connection of a lamp by simple manipulations.

For this purpose, the invention proposes an arrangement of the type described above, where the fixed terminals extend generally laterally from a portion of the axial surface of the base towards the outside in directions which are each contained in a substantially transverse plane, characterized in that the terminal block is movably mounted relative to the support between a locked position in which the connection terminals are in electrical contact with the associated fixed terminals, and an unlocked position in which the connection terminals are remote from the fixed terminals, way that the displacement of the terminal to its locked position, or to its unlocked position, causes the connection, respectively the disconnection, from the lamp with the power harness.

Preferably, the support is constituted by the reflector of the projector (the terminal being then movably mounted relative to the rear wall of said reflector). In the following description, substantially identical or similar elements will be designated by identical references.

We have shown on the figure 1 an arrangement 10, which is produced in accordance with the teachings of the invention, for the electrical connection of a lamp 12 in a motor vehicle headlamp.

The projector has not been completely represented, but a portion of a reflector 14 is shown which has a hole 16 for mounting the lamp 12.

The reflector 14 is seen here on the side of its non-reflecting rear face 18.

The lamp 12 is oriented generally along an axis A-A which represents here the mounting axis and which may be coincident with the optical axis of the reflector 14.

In the following description will be used, without limitation, an orientation back and forth along the axis AA which globally corresponds to a top-down orientation on the figure 1 .

Un élément de l'agencement 10 sera qualifié de transversal lorsqu'il appartient globalement à un plan transversal à l'axe A-A.An element of the arrangement 10 will be described as transversal when it belongs globally to a plane transverse to the axis A-A.

The lamp 12 comprises, at the front, a bulb 20 which contains for example a filament (not shown) forming the light source of the headlight and, at the rear, a base 22 carrying fixed connection terminals 24, 26, 28 .

A.The base 22 here has a generally cylindrical shape of axis A-A. It advantageously comprises, on its rear transverse face 30, a gripping element 32 which here has the shape of a corrugated tab extending axially towards the rear and which allows a user to easily manipulate the lamp 12 to rotate it. around its axis AA.

The base 22 conventionally comprises interlocking and polarizing means (not shown), such as lugs, which are provided to cooperate for example with notches 31 made in the inner edge 33 of the mounting hole 16.

The base 22 is provided here to fit into the hole 16 in a bayonet system.

In the embodiment shown here, the fixed connection terminals consist of three contact blades 24, 26, 28 which generally belong to the same transverse plane and which extend substantially parallel to a transverse direction of connection BB towards the outside, ie away from the lamp 12, generally laterally from the axial surface 34 of the base 22.

The transverse direction B-B is here a direction orthogonal to the axis A-A and substantially horizontal.

Of course, this transverse direction BB could be oriented differently without departing from the scope of the invention.

We will use, without limitation, a left to right orientation in the transverse direction BB which corresponds globally to the orientation of the figure 1 .

According to the teachings of the invention, the arrangement 10 also comprises a terminal block 36 which is slidably mounted on a slide 38 in the transverse direction B-B.

The slide 38 is here an insert, but it could also be part of the reflector 14 or another element of the projector being made for example by molding.

The slide 38 here has the shape of a substantially rectangular transverse plate.

Advantageously, the slide 38 is a piece of metal sheet made for example by cutting, stamping and folding.

Considering the figure 1 it is found that the upper transverse edge 40 and the lower transverse edge 42 of the slide 38 are curved towards the rear and toward the slideway 38, so as to form respectively an upper rail 40 and a lower rail 42 for guiding.

The slide 38 advantageously comprises an elastic tongue 44 which is arranged here in a central portion of the slide 38 defining a substantially oblong window 46 which extends in a transverse direction.

The tongue 44 extends inside the window 46 from a transverse end edge 48 to the right which delimits a substantially vertical fold, considering the figure 1 . The tongue 44 is therefore able to pivot by elastic deformation around the edge 48, forwards and backwards, from its rest position which is represented on the figure 1 .

The left transverse end of the tongue 44 is folded into a hook shape so as to form a boss 50 projecting substantially axially rearwards, with respect to the rear face 52 of the slideway 38, when the tongue 44 occupies its position. rest.

The slide 38 here comprises two ribs 54, 56 which extend substantially transversely (B-B) on its rear face 52, respectively above and below the window 46.

Ces nervures 54, 56 servent notamment à rigidifier la glissière 38 suivant la direction transversale B-B, de manière à assurer notamment un coulissement fiable du bornier 36 sur la glissière 38.These ribs 54, 56 serve in particular to stiffen the slide 38 in the transverse direction B-B, so as to ensure in particular a reliable sliding of the terminal block 36 on the slide 38.

The slide 38 is also provided with four substantially identical retaining tabs 58 which are respectively arranged at the four corners of the slideway 38.

Each of the lugs 58 extends here substantially axially towards the front and has its forward axial end 60 which is bent hook-shaped towards the rear, so as to allow the mounting of the slide 38 on the rear face 18 of the reflector 14 by harpooning and jamming each tab 58 in a complementary hole 62.

In the embodiment shown here, the holes 62 associated with the tabs 58 are made in studs 64 carried by the rear face 18 of the reflector 14.

De préférence, les plots 64 sont réalisés par moulage avec le réflecteur 14.Preferably, the pads 64 are made by molding with the reflector 14.

La glissière 38 est représentée en position montée sur les figures 2 à 9.The slide 38 is shown in the mounted position on the Figures 2 to 9 .

We will now describe the terminal block 36, with reference to figures 3 , 4 , 5 and 8 in which it is represented when it occupies its mounted and unlocked position on the slideway 38, the lamp 12 also occupying its position mounted in the reflector 14.

On the figures 6 and 9 , the terminal block 36 is shown in the locked position, or connection position, that is to say that it occupies an extreme left position in the transverse direction of connection BB.

The terminal block 36 is formed mainly of a substantially parallelepipedal housing 66 parallel to a transverse plane.

The casing 66 delimits, in its axial thickness, three ducts, or housings 68, 70, 72, substantially parallelepipedic which extend parallel in the transverse direction B-B and which are contained in the same transverse plane.

The housings 68, 70, 72 are open at each of their transverse ends and are each designed to house a connection terminal, here in the form of a connection socket 65.

Chacune des faces transversales 67, 69 du boîtier 66 comporte, en vis-à-vis de la lampe 12, un bord d'extrémité transversale 71, 73 qui a ici un profil en arc de cercle complémentaire de la surface axiale 34 en vis-à-vis du culot 22 de la lampe 12.Each of the transverse faces 67, 69 of the housing 66 comprises, opposite the lamp 12, a transverse end edge 71, 73 which here has a profile in a complementary arc of the axial surface 34 facing with respect to the base 22 of the lamp 12.

In the locked position of the terminal block 36, as shown in the figures 6 and 9 , the transverse end edges 71, 73 in an arc are substantially adjacent to the axial surface 34 of the base 22.

Ce profil en arc de cercle a notamment une fonction de détrompage et assure le positionnement correct du bornier 36 sur la glissière 38.This arcuate profile has in particular a keying function and ensures the correct positioning of the terminal block 36 on the slideway 38.

Le bornier 36 comporte aussi deux ailes 74, 76 qui s'étendent sensiblement horizontalement vers l'avant depuis chaque bord transversal arrière 78, 80 du boîtier 66.Terminal block 36 also has two wings 74, 76 which extend substantially horizontally forwards from each rear transverse edge 78, 80 of housing 66.

As can be seen on the figure 4 the front end transverse edge 82, 84 of each wing 74, 76 is bent towards the opposite edge 82, 84, so as to form a rim which delimits a transverse surface 86, 88 facing rearward. These rear transverse surfaces 86, 88 are provided to bear axially backwards against the front face 90 of the slide 38, when the terminal block 36 is mounted on the slide 38.

Advantageously, the front transverse face 94 of the housing 66 carries a pin 92 which is provided to cooperate with the boss 50 of the resilient tongue 44 to index the terminal block 36 in its locked position.

Le pion 92 a son bord d'extrémité axiale 96 arrondi et il délimite une rampe 98, du côté droit en considérant la figure 5, en vue de faciliter son glissement vers la droite contre le bossage 50 de la languette 44.The peg 92 has its rounded axial end edge 96 and delimits a ramp 98, on the right side, considering the figure 5 , in order to facilitate its sliding to the right against the boss 50 of the tongue 44.

The front face 67 of the casing 66 also comprises two elastic strips 99, 101 which here extend transversely (B-B) over most of the transverse length of the casing 66, on each side of the peg 92.

Chacune des lamelles 99, 101 s'étend globalement vers l'avant et est recourbée en éloignement du pion, c'est à dire respectivement vers le haut et vers le bas en considérant la figure 4.Each of the lamellae 99, 101 extends generally towards the front and is curved away from the pin, that is to say respectively upwards and downwards considering the figure 4 .

Each of the lamellae 99, 101 thus delimits a substantially transverse surface 103, 105 which is designed to bear axially forwards against the rails 40, 42 associated with the slideway 38.

In the mounted position of the terminal block 36 on the slideway 38, the elastic strips 99, 101 are thus deformed towards the rear and they axially urge the terminal block 36 forward so that each guide rail 40, 42 is pinched axially between the flange 82, 84 and the strip 99, 101 associated, which maintains the terminal block 36 on the slide 38.

Avantageusement, la face avant 67 du boîtier 66 se prolonge transversalement, vers la droite en considérant la figure 5, par un tenon 100 qui est prévu pour venir en appui transversal vers la droite contre un plot de butée 102, lorsque le bornier 36 occupe sa position déverrouillée, de manière à le retenir en éloignement de la lampe 12.Advantageously, the front face 67 of the housing 66 extends transversely, to the right by considering the figure 5 , by a tenon 100 which is provided to bear transversely to the right against an abutment stud 102, when the terminal block 36 occupies its unlocked position, so as to keep it away from the lamp 12.

Le plot de butée 102 s'étend ici axialement vers l'arrière depuis la face arrière 18 du réflecteur 14.The abutment stud 102 here extends axially rearwards from the rear face 18 of the reflector 14.

The transverse length (B-B) of the stud may be defined by design, so as to determine the transverse position of the terminal block 36 on the slide 38 when in its unlocked position.

The terminal block 36 finally comprises a gripping element 104 which here has the form of a corrugated tab extending axially rearwardly from the rear transverse face 69 of the housing 66, and which allows a user to easily manipulate the terminal block 36 , so as to slide it transversely between its locked position, on the left, and its unlocked position, on the right.

Preferably, the terminal block 36 is made by plastic molding.

The terminal block 36 is designed to accommodate in each of its housings 68, 70, 72 an identical connection socket 65.

As can be seen in the broken view of the figure 8 each connection socket 65 forms an electrical contact which is provided to internally receive in complementary manner an associated contact blade 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12.

For this purpose, when the lamp 12 is in the mounted position and when the terminal block 36 is mounted on the slideway 38, the sockets 65 are then in the same transverse plane as the contact blades 24, 26, 28 and each socket 65 is then aligned transversely (BB) with the contact blade 24, 26, 28 associated.

Le bornier 36 comporte ici trois douilles 65 associées respectivement aux trois lames de contact 24, 26, 28 de la lampe 12.The terminal block 36 here comprises three bushings 65 associated respectively with the three contact blades 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12.

Chaque douille de connexion 65 est raccordée, par son extrémité transversale opposée à la lampe 12, à un fil électrique 107.Each connection socket 65 is connected by its transverse end opposite the lamp 12 to an electric wire 107.

The electrical wires 107 belong to a power supply harness (not shown) of the vehicle.

It may be an internal wiring harness to the housing of the projector, which is joined to other electrical harnesses necessary for the operation of the entire projector (which may include a plurality of lamps): the wiring harness is then generally gathered to other beams via a common connector to exit the housing through an ad hoc hole.

According to another variant, the electrical harness exits the housing through an orifice ad hoc, either directly or by a connector of its own.

Advantageously, the sockets 65 are standard type, such as those used in conventional connection devices, which reduces manufacturing costs while ensuring the reliability of connections.

We will now explain the mounting and connection operations of the lamp 12 in the context of the arrangement 10 according to the invention.

Préalablement au montage de la lampe 12, il est nécessaire de mettre en place les éléments de l'agencement 10 selon l'invention sur le réflecteur 14.Prior to the mounting of the lamp 12, it is necessary to place the elements of the arrangement 10 according to the invention on the reflector 14.

It is therefore necessary that the terminal block 36 is slidably mounted on the slideway 38. For this, the terminal block 36 is moved transversely towards a transverse end (BB) of the slideway 38 so that the rear transverse surface 86, 88 of each flange 82, 84 of the terminal block 36 slides on the front transverse surface 90 of the slideway 38 and so that the elastic lamellae 99, 101 come to bear axially against the associated guide rails 40, 42.

It is necessary that the slide 38 equipped with the terminal block 36 is mounted on the rear face 18 of the reflector 14. For this we insert the forward axial end 60 of each lug 58 in the hole 62 of the associated stud 64.

For this we insert each sleeve 65 in its associated housing 68, 70, 72 in a transverse movement from the right to the left considering the figure 1 .

For the mounting of the lamp 12 is possible, it is further necessary that the terminal block 36 is in its unlocked position, for a reason that will be described later.

The position of all the elements of the arrangement 10 before the lamp assembly 12 is represented on the figure 2 .

In this figure we see that the terminal block 36 is in the unlocked position since the boss 50 of the elastic tongue 44 is positioned to the left of the housing 66.

Le bornier 36 est retenu transversalement vers la droite puisque le tenon 100 est en appui transversal vers la droite contre le plot de butée 102.As can be seen on the figure 5 , in the unlocked position, the terminal block 36 is held transversely to the left since the transverse end front edge 71 of the housing 66 bears transversely to the left against the boss 50. The terminal block 36 is held transversely to the right since the tenon 100 is in transverse support to the right against the abutment stud 102.

The elastic tongue 44 thus makes it possible to index the terminal block 36 in its unlocked position.

Since the lamp 12 is intended to be mounted in the hole 16 in a bayonet-type, or "quarter-turn" mounting, it is necessary to align it angularly with respect to the notches 31 before insertion into the hole 16. That's what was represented on the figure 2 , where the contact blades 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12 are not oriented in the transverse direction BB, as they will be in the mounted position, but they are angularly offset upwards.

Mounting the lamp 12 in the hole 16 thus comprises two steps.

During a first step, the lamp 12 is inserted into the hole 16 of the reflector 14 in axial movement forward. The lamp 12 is then in the position which is represented on the figure 7 , where the base 22 is in forward axial abutment against a transverse surface 106 vis-à-vis the reflector 14, and wherein the contact blades 24, 26, 28 are angularly offset (about the axis AA) relative to the transverse direction of connection BB.

In a second step, the lamp 12 is pivoted about its axis AA, here in a clockwise direction, until it is nested in the hole 16. This final position of the lamp 12, before it is connected, is represented on the figures 3 and 8 .

In this axial and angular position, the contact strips 24, 26, 28 are parallel to the transverse connection axis B-B and they are aligned transversely with the sockets 65 associated with the terminal block 36.

The connection of the lamp 12 is then carried out as follows.

On déplace le bornier 36 vers la lampe 12, suivant l'axe transversal de connexion B-B, en le faisant coulisser sur la glissière 38.The terminal block 36 is moved towards the lamp 12, along the transverse connection axis B-B, by sliding it on the slideway 38.

At first, the boss 50 of the resilient tongue 44 forms a ramp which cooperates with the front transverse end edge 71 of the housing 66 so that the resilient tongue 44 is retracted forward by deforming elastically.

The terminal block 36 then continues to slide towards the lamp 12, while simultaneously the boss 50 bears backwards and slides against the front face 67 of the housing 66.

During the sliding of the terminal block 36, the contact blades 24, 26, 28 penetrate progressively into the associated sleeves 65.

In a second step, during sliding, the pin 92 meets the boss 50 and it causes an additional deformation of the tongue 44, until it protrudes transversely to the left the boss 50, which causes for the user a feeling of passing a notch.

The terminal block 36 then occupies its locked position, which is represented on the figure 6 in which the connection of the lamp 12 is made.

In this locked position, the contact blades 24, 26, 28 are here fully inserted inside the sockets 65 and they make two by two an electrical connection by contact.

The pin 92 bears substantially transversely to the right against the boss 50 of the tongue 44, so that the terminal block 36 is held transversely against the base 22 of the lamp 12, so in its locked position, and so that only one transverse force to the right exerted by the user can make the terminal block 36 out of its locked position.

To make the disconnection and disassembly of the lamp 12, simply repeat in reverse the operations just described, that is to say, it is necessary to slide transversely terminal block 36 from left to right, from its locked position to its unlocked position, then it is necessary to cause the pivoting of the lamp 12 about its axis AA, here in the counter-clockwise direction, until it is disengaged from the reflector 14, then it is necessary to leave the lamp 12 of the hole 16 by moving axially backwards.

In effect, the terminal block 36 is then in the travel zone. contact blades 24, 26, 28, that is to say it prevents the final pivoting of the lamp 12 about its axis AA which must allow to align the contact blades 24, 26, 28 with the transverse connection axis BB.

Le démontage de la lampe 12 nécessite donc au préalable sa déconnexion par le déverrouillage du bornier 36.On the other hand, when the lamp 12 is in the mounted position and the terminal block 36 is in its locked position, then the terminal block 36 immobilizes the lamp 12 in its mounted position. The disassembly of the lamp 12 therefore first requires its disconnection by unlocking the terminal block 36.

L'agencement 10 selon l'invention apporte donc un gain important en sécurité et en fiabilité du montage et de la connexion de la lampe 12.The arrangement 10 according to the invention thus brings a significant gain in safety and reliability of assembly and connection of the lamp 12.

Moreover, thanks to the arrangement 10 according to the invention, it is possible to determine at design the length of the electric wires 107 which is necessary and sufficient to allow the connection of the lamp 12, since the type of displacement is precisely known. performed by the terminal block 36 during connection operations.

According to a variant (not shown) of this embodiment, the slide 38 may be designed to act as a negative terminal. It is then electrically connected to the main connector (not shown) of the projector.

When locking the terminal block 36, the negative contact blade of the lamp 12 is provided to come into contact with the slideway 38 so as to provide an electrical connection.

According to a second embodiment of the invention, which is represented on the figure 10 , the terminal block 36 can be pivotally mounted about an axis CC which is substantially parallel to the axis AA of the lamp 12.

According to the embodiment which is shown here, the terminal block 36 comprises an arm 108 which extends in a substantially transverse plane from a substantially cylindrical section 110 of axis C-C.

The cylindrical section 110 is pivotally mounted on a stud 112 which can be carried by the rear face 18 of the reflector 14.

The arm 108 has an axial surface 114 substantially parallel to the axial surface 34 of the base 22 of the lamp 12, when the terminal block 36 occupies its connection position, which is shown on FIG. figure 10 .

The terminal block 36 here comprises two housings 116 each containing a socket 65 associated with a contact blade 24, 26.

The contact blades 24, 26 and the sockets 65 belong to the same transverse plane.

Avantageusement, les douilles 65 et les lames de contact 24, 26 associées sont orientées sensiblement radialement par rapport à l'axe A-A de la lampe 12.Advantageously, the sleeves 65 and the associated contact blades 24, 26 are oriented substantially radially with respect to the axis A-A of the lamp 12.

According to this embodiment, the connection of the lamp 12 is carried out as follows.

After mounting the lamp 12 in the hole 16 of the reflector 14, the terminal block 36 is rotated about its axis CC, clockwise, towards the lamp 12, from a position in which the arm 108 is remote from the lamp 12 , until the contact blades 24, 26 penetrate into the associated sleeves 65.

The disconnection takes place by performing these operations in the opposite direction.

Of course, the two embodiments described above can be combined.

For example, it is possible to use a terminal block 36 which is slidably mounted transversely with a lamp 12 comprising contact strips 24, 26 which are oriented radially with respect to the axis A-A of the lamp 12.

It is also possible to use a terminal block 36 which is pivotally mounted about an axis C-C parallel to the axis A-A of the lamp 12 with a lamp 12 comprising contact strips 24, 26, 28 substantially parallel to a transverse axis B-B.

We have shown on figure 11 to 13 a third embodiment of the invention in which the terminal block 36 is slidably mounted in a transverse plane in a circumferential direction D1 coaxial with the axis AA of the lamp 12.

On the figure 11 the terminal block 36 is shown in the locked position in which the connection of the lamp 12 is made.

On the figure 12 the terminal block 36 is shown in the unlocked position, the lamp 12 then being disconnected.

In order to allow its circumferential sliding, the terminal block 36 is mounted on the rear face 18 of the reflector 14 by means of two screws 118, each axially passing through a guide slot 120 made at a circumferential end of the terminal block 36.

Each guide lumen 120 has the shape of an oblong hole which extends in the circumferential direction D1. Each guide light 120 has a radial profile substantially complementary to the profile of the head 122 of the associated screw 118, so that the guide slots 120 cooperate with the associated screw 118 in order to guide the terminal block 36 in sliding in the circumferential direction. D1.

According to this embodiment, the lamp 12 comprises contact blades 24, 26, 28 which are oriented radially with respect to the axis A-A of the lamp 12.

The terminal block 36 is generally banana-shaped and extends along the circumferential direction D1.

It comprises here three housings 116 which are provided to each receive a connection terminal 65 in a substantially radial direction.

As shown on the figure 13 , the shape of the housings 116 is provided to allow the connection terminals 65 to be interlocked. For this purpose, each housing 116 here comprises two radial and transverse ribs 124, 126 which are arranged on each side of the connection terminal 65.

Each connection terminal 65 here comprises two transverse metal plates 128, 130 which are superposed axially and which bear respectively axially on the rear face and on the front face of the associated ribs 124, 126, so as to retain the connection terminal 65 in the housing 116.

The front metal plate 130 of each connection terminal 65 delimits here a forward convex boss 132 which is provided to make electrical contact with the rear face of the associated contact blade 24, 26, 28, when the terminal block 36 occupies its locked position.

The terminal block 36 also comprises, in its axial wall vis-à-vis the lamp 12, three clearances 134 which are angularly offset, here in the clockwise direction, relative to the three housings 116 associated.

These clearances 134 are intended to be aligned radially with the associated contact blades 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12, when the terminal block 36 is in its unlocked position, in order to allow the disassembly of the lamp 12, as will be explained. thereafter.

The dimensions of each clearance 134 in the transverse plane must allow the passage of the contact blade 24, 26, 28 associated when the lamp 12 is mounted or disassembled axially, respectively forward and rearward, the terminal block 36 occupying its unlocked position, as can be seen on the figure 12 .

The terminal block 36 further comprises a gripping element 136 which here has the overall shape of an axial plate extending radially outwardly from the external axial face of the terminal block 36.

The gripping member 136 allows the user to manipulate the terminal block 36 so as to slide it in the circumferential direction D1, from its locked position to its unlocked position.

Advantageously, the reflector 14 comprises two axial studs 138, 140 each forming a circumferential stop against the circumferential end facing the terminal block. 36, when it occupies respectively its locked position and its unlocked position.

According to this third embodiment, the connection of the lamp 12 is carried out as follows.

The terminal block 36 is placed in its unlocked position, as shown in FIG. figure 12 , that is to say that it is slid in the circumferential direction D1 in the counterclockwise direction to the associated stop stud 138.

The lamp 12 is axially mounted in the hole 16 of the reflector 14 by axially aligning the contact blades 24, 26, 28 with the associated clearances 134 so that the contact blades 24, 26, 28 can pass axially through the recesses 134 during this period. assembly phase.

When the lamp 12 is mounted, the contact blades 24, 26, 28 extend in a radial plane situated in front of the radial plane in which the connection terminals 65 extend.

When sliding the terminal block 36 in the circumferential direction D1 in the clockwise direction to the associated stop block 140, in accordance with the representations of the Figures 11 and 12 , the connection terminals 65 align radially with the contact blades 24, 26, 28 so that each boss 132 comes into contact with the rear face of the contact blade 24, 26, 28 associated.

The disconnection takes place by performing these operations in the opposite direction.

We will now describe a fourth embodiment, with reference to the Figures 14 to 16 , in which the terminal block 36 is pivotally mounted about a substantially transverse axis EE.

As in the second and third embodiments, the contact blades 24, 26, 28 are oriented here substantially radially with respect to the axis A-A of the lamp 12.

En considérant la figure 14 dans laquelle le bornier 36 est représenté en position verrouillée, celui-ci a ici la forme d'une plaque transversale en arc de cercle d'axe A-A qui comporte dans sa face axiale externe, au voisinage de chacune de ses extrémités circonférentielles, un tourillon 142, 144 d'axe transversal E-E qui forme un pivot pour le bornier 36.Considering the figure 14 in which the terminal block 36 is shown in the locked position, it here has the form of a transverse arcuate plate of axis AA which comprises in its outer axial face, in the vicinity of each of its circumferential ends, a trunnion 142, 144 of transverse axis EE which forms a pivot for the terminal block 36.

Chaque tourillon 142, 144 est monté libre à rotation dans un palier complémentaire 146, 148 porté par la face arrière 18 du réflecteur 14.Each pin 142, 144 is rotatably mounted in a complementary bearing 146, 148 carried by the rear face 18 of the reflector 14.

Each bearing 146, 148 here has the shape of a gutter open at the rear so as to allow the mounting of the trunnion 142, 144 associated axially (A-A) from back to front. Each pin 142, 144 is held in the bearing 146, 148 associated with the head 150 of a screw 152, the screw 152 being mounted in an axial hole 154 (A-A) made in a portion of the bearing 146, 148 associated.

The terminal block 36 has housings 116 which are provided for mounting the connection terminals 65.

As can be seen in particular on Figures 15 and 16 each connecting terminal 65 is here in the form of a blade having at its free end on the lamp side a forward convex boss 156 which is provided to engage the rear face of a contact blade 24 , 26, 28 associated.

Each housing 116 here comprises two radial and transverse grooves 158, 160 in which the radial edges of the associated connection terminal 65 are inserted.

The terminal block 36 here comprises two gripping plates 162, 164 which extend parallel to the transverse axis EE and which extend axially (AA) towards the rear considering the figure 14 , in order to facilitate the manipulation of the terminal block 36 by the user.

The terminal block 36 is represented on the figure 14 and 16 in the locked position, that is to say that the connection terminals 65 are in electrical contact with the associated contact terminals 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12.

Le bornier 36 occupe alors la position qui est représentée sur la figure 15.To pass to the unlocked position, the terminal block 36 is rotated around its transverse axis EE, in the direction schedule by considering the Figures 15 and 16 , so that the connection terminals 65 move away from the contact terminals 24, 26, 28 of the lamp 12. The terminal block 36 then occupies the position which is represented on the figure 15 .

When the terminal block 36 is in its unlocked position, the lamp 12 can be removed or mounted by moving it axially rearwardly, respectively forwardly.

To make the electrical connection of the lamp 12, when it is mounted in the reflector, it is sufficient to rotate the terminal block 36, in the counter-clockwise direction by considering the Figures 15 and 16 from its unlocked position to its locked position.

Of course, it is advantageous to provide a locking system (not shown) of the terminal block 36 in its locked position and in its unlocked position.

The invention has therefore developed an electrical connection system where the terminal block is mounted relative to a support, typically the rear wall of the reflector of the projector. We do not have an imprecise floating assembly. On the contrary, it can ensure a connection "blind" between the terminal block and the lamp terminals, without having to "aim" the lamp terminals during assembly. In addition, it is safe to lock the assembly correctly, because the electrical contact is only made if the connector (the terminal block) is properly positioned.
