Abstract

Figure 00000001
A fuel injection device (1) comprises an injector (3 ') and a solenoid valve (8) for controlling the injection process. The solenoid valve (8) has at least one first flow channel for passing fuel through an armature space (16) of the solenoid valve (8) and at least one second flow channel for returning fuel out of the solenoid valve (8) towards the solenoid valve opening. The at least one second flow channel is connected to a fuel return to a fuel tank. This flow guidance ensures ventilation of the armature space (16) while taking into account the smallest possible space for the fuel injection device (1).
