Abstract

Die Vorrichtung dient zur induktiven Blockerwärmung mit einer ein- oder mehrlagigen Blockerwärmungsspule (4) für runde Bolzen (5), insbesondere aus Kupfer, Aluminium und deren Legierungen sowie ferritische und austenitische Werkstoffe größerer Durchmesser, wobei die Blockerwärmungsspule (4) aus einer oder mehreren nacheinander angeordneten, galvanisch getrennten Zonen besteht, die über eine elektrische Schalteinrichtung und eine Steuereinheit mit elektrischer Energie aus dem Drehstromnetz versorgt werden, und ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Blockerwärmungsspule (4) aus mehreren hinsichtlich Frequenz und Phase des induktiven Feldes synchron geregelten Zonen (Z1, Z2 bis Zn) besteht, und daß für die Stromeinspeisung zu jeder Zone (Z1 bis Zn) der Blockerwärmungsspule (4) ein Umrichter (2) mit variabler Frequenz und modularem Aufbau vorgesehen ist, der aus mehreren leistungsmäßig in sich geschlossenen Einheiten mit DS-Netzeinspeisung und Synchronisation von Phase und Frequenz der Ausgangsspannung besteht. Die Leistung der Zonen Z1 bis Zn der Blockerwärmungsspule wird an Hand der zugeordneten gemessenen Zonentemperaturen geregelt. Für die Leistungsregelung werden die Materialwerte (und deren Temperaturabhängigkeit), die Geometrie des Bolzens und die Energieaufnahmefähigkeit des Bolzens (dP/dt) einbezogen. Ziel der Regelung ist das Erreichen eines vorgegebenen Temperaturprofils (im Toleranzbereich) in kürzester Erwärmungszeit, wobei dieses Kriterium gleichzeitig den maximalen Wirkungsgrad der Erwärmung bestimmt.
