noch zu erläuternde Schaltung und deren ge- eignete Steuerung erreichen. Ein derartiger Betriebszu- stand hat den Vorteil, dass der Hin- und Rücktransport von Leistungen verringert und ;
Circuit arrangement with a self-commutated inverter The problem of turning a DC voltage into an alternating or three-phase voltage of variable frequency and variable voltage has gained increasing practical importance over time, for example for the supply of brushless, speed controllable motors a constant DC voltage source. In these cases a self-commutated inverter is required, i. H.
an inverter that does not work on an existing alternating voltage, but has to generate it by itself. Such inverters are realized with the help of thyratrons, transistors or controlled whereby: the commutation was ensured by capacitors.
In the case of consumers with an inductive current component, anti-parallel valves have been connected in parallel to the inverter valves, which allow the temporary return of current to the direct current source.
Particularly inexpensive inverter arrangements can be achieved if the control process is made independent of the state of the consumer network, which can be achieved, for example, by changing between:
electricity consumers and the AC valves shut-off valves are switched on. Instead of this, controllable Hallbleker cells can also be used as phase valves, which can be erased by capacitor surges. Such an inverter, which is already known, is indicated in FIG. 1.
This is a three-phase inverter in a bridge circuit, which feeds an AC motor M from a direct current source U. 1 to 6 are the phase valves of the inverter, which can be ignited by a grid pulse as well as deleted by another pulse, for example by condensate bursts. (In the drawing, this double controllability is indicated by two lines on the side of the cell symbol.
Examples of such a controllable cell with quenching device are shown in FIGS. 3 and 4.) A rectifier consisting of the unstressed cells 7 to 12 works back from the three-phase voltage generated to the voltage U,. In order to change the frequency of the three-phase voltage generated, one will choose the rhythm of the ignition and extinguishing pulses of the valves 1 to 6 accordingly.
This results in a rotary voltage with a rectangular profile during the half-wave, the amplitude of the rotary voltage being equal to U ". If you want to supply a correspondingly lower voltage to the motor with decreasing frequency, valves 1 to 6 can each be operated for 120 times do not switch on continuously, but only with a certain variable switch-on ratio according to the principle of pulse control. In this way, the generated frequency f is superimposed:
of the three-phase current has a pulse frequency f "" which is significantly higher and can consequently be blocked off from the consumer M by a low-pass filter consisting of L and C.
The reactances 13 to 18 indicated in FIG. 1 are necessary in order to prevent the condensate, ator extinguishing surges from flowing out into the three-phase network. They are so small that they do not mean any significant reactance for the fundamental frequency f.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, six erasable valves 1 to 6 are required for a three-phase bridge circuit.
According to the invention, this effort can be reduced ver. The invention relates to a Schaltungsanord voltage with a solbstgofuten, controllable in frequency and voltage voltage inverter and a close to it closed consumers. According to the invention, controllable extinguishing valves are switched on in or between the direct current supply lines to: the phase valves, which have the effect that:
the direct current to be flowing is switched on and off periodically so that the inverter works in pulsed mode, the phase valves being controlled in such a way that the desired frequency of the alternating voltage results and the quenching valves determine the mean value of the direct voltage.
Figs. 2 to 6 show some embodiments of the invention. The phase valves 101 to 106 (Fig. 2) exercise:
They only play the role of a distributor of the pulse currents to the three alternating current phases in the desired rhythm of the frequency f, while the extinguishing valves 113 determine the mean value of the half-wave voltage through their duty cycle. The ignition and extinguishing pulses of the extinguishing valves 113 are expediently synchronized with the control of the phase valves 101 to 106 in such a way that the latter are de-energized during periodic switching to the various phases by blocking extinguishing valves 113.
In this case, there is no step limit for the actual inverter, since the current flow duration of two phases does not overlap during the phase change.
As in Fig. 1, a traditional controlled rectifier 107 to 112 is also provided in Fig. 2, so that a current flowing in L and M during blocking of 113 through two of the valves 107 to 112 into the DC voltage U @. can flow back so that no overvoltage occurs. To ensure the latter, ice is necessary,
the supply lines to the inverter and to the rectifier and to the direct voltage Ug. run with low reactance. If the power is not supplied by a battery, but for example by a rectifier, then u must. U. the rectifier can be blocked with a capacitor to allow the pulse currents to flow.
In Fig. 3, a single-phase arrangement according to the invention is shown. In this figure, the circuit for the erase triode is indicated between the terminals A and legs. To extinguish the main valve; s 120, a capacitor 121 is switched on via an auxiliary valve 122, so that it discharges backwards via 120. The polarity of the capacitor voltage shown is given in a known manner by the oscillating circuit 123, 124.
The control of the valves 120 and 122 he follows. by a control unit St, which controls the inverter valves 131 and 134 at the same time. The control device St is fed via a current measuring element 140. The actual value of the current isst, as well as the setpoint values i ", i, and f for the course of the current and for the frequency.
In order for the low pass from L and C to be as effective as possible, the pulse frequency f. as high as possible. In Fig. 4, a push-pull extinguishing circuit is indicated, which allows pulse frequencies of up to 10,000 Hz in today's controllable silicon cells. With such high frequencies f ″ it is possible to generate working frequencies f in the range from f = 0 to, for example, f = 200 for three-phase motors.
This has the advantage that the start-up process of the motors with high torque can take place without difficulty and that, on the other hand, the weight of the motors is small due to the high end frequency.
When starting up, it is necessary to reduce the inverter frequency practically to almost zero and also to reduce the voltage at the motor to a fraction of the nominal voltage or
adjust the motor current with the control unit St to the desired start-up value, for example double or triple the nominal current. At high frequencies, depending on the field weakening in DC motors, the voltage in relation to the frequency can be selected to be smaller than normal, so that the flux of the motor and, accordingly, the torque are reduced.
In Fig. 5, a further possibility for carrying out the invention is shown using the example of a single-phase inverter in a bridge circuit. Here the extinguishing valves are not arranged in series with the inverter, but parallel to it.
There are two small air restrictors in the supply lines from the direct current connector
EMI0002.0108
The cancellation circuit is constructed as in FIG. 4.
The capacitor C is ignited alternately via the controllable valves 150 and 153 or via the valves 151 and 152. This makes it possible to apply negative voltage to the inverter valves 131 to 134 periodically in the cycle of the ignition of the capacitor C,
which extinguishes the current-carrying valves of the WechseItchters, so that the current flowing in the motor M at this point in time via the rectifier valves 135 and 138 against the DC voltage U ,,. must continue to flow.
The thrushes
EMI0002.0133
ensure that the capacitor C is charged with the most favorable frequency and that there is no direct short circuit in the DC voltage source U ,. through the capacitor C it follows.
In order that the voltage across the capacitor C does not overshoot to undesirably high values, a transformer 154, which operates on a rectifier circuit 155, is connected in parallel to it. The gear ratio of 154 is chosen so
that at a certain voltage of the capacitor equal to or greater than U-. the rectifier 155 becomes effective and cuts the voltage across the capacitor while working back on Uri. Under certain circumstances, the secondary side of the transformer 154 can connect to the rectifier 135 to 138
can be switched, so that the rectifier circuit 155 is saved. In parallel to the consumer, a capacitor C may be arranged to promote the deletion of the valves 131 and 134.
The circuits described do not make it possible for two phases of the reversing set-up to work simultaneously, since only a single quenching device is provided for all phases in common.
Instead of this, an extinguishing device can also be installed in the direct current feed line for the two valves in each phase, or multi-phase inverters can be built from single-phase bridge circuits.
The circuits described are particularly suitable for the controllable silicon cells, which are already being built for high power and which are so electrically inert that they can also be used with relatively small capacitors,
large current can be deleted. By connecting such cells in parallel and in series, outputs of up to several 1000 kW can be achieved, so that the circuit is not only suitable for small and medium-sized motor drives, but also for large ones.
The transition from the known arrangement: n Fig. 1 to the arrangement of Fig. 2 results in a considerable saving of effort and simplification of the control.
The invention can be advantageously developed further in that, in addition to operating states in which decorative consumers are connected to the supplying direct voltage at the rate of the pulse frequency, and with reverse current or
Reactive current .works back to the supplying direct voltage, .Operating states are also provided in which the consumer current flows freely. The flow of a current in freewheeling mode can be controlled by a suitable,
Achieve the circuit to be explained and its suitable control. Such an operating state has the advantage that the transport to and from services is reduced and;
this reduces the stress on the various parts of the inverter and improves the efficiency. A related schematic Ausführungsbei game of the invention is shown in FIG.
It is an inverter in a three-phase bridge circuit, an asynchronous motor with squirrel cage M with adjustable frequency and adjustable frequency from a DC voltage U ", which can represent a battery, a rectifier on an AC power supply or another DC generator, for example Voltage allowed to operate through all four quadrants.
The actual inverter consists of the controllable semiconductors <B> 301 </B> to 306, to which anti-parallel uncontrolled semiconductors 321 to 326 are connected.
The power supply to the controllable semiconductors 301 to 306 takes place via chokes L1 and L., the forced commutation of the current from one phase to the other is done by a push-pull extinguishing circuit, consisting of the commubation triodes <B> 311 </B> to 314 and the capacitors Cl and C2. The chokes L1 and L2:
are provided with cut-off diodes D1 and D2, which return the energy stored in the chokes via converters T1 and T2 to the supply source via diodes D3 and D4, whereby the conversion ratio of T1 and T determines the level of the voltage,
up to which the capacitors C1 and C2 are charged. Capacitors C3, C4, C5 are connected to the three alternating current phases U, V, W.
The star point O of these capacitors is connected to the center O 'of the commutation capacitors and to the center O "of the buffer capacitors Q and C, which are bridged by resistors R" and R. If the center O "'of the voltage Ug is accessible, O" can be connected to O "'.
The inverter works in the following way: For example, the controllable semiconductors 301 and 304 are opened so that the voltage Ufi is applied to U and V.
If the current rises too much as a result of excessively high voltage, the control operates the commutation device, for example, if the polarity of the commutation capacitors is shown, the commutation triodes 312 and 313 are ignited,
so that 304 and 301 are deleted from the capacitors C1 and C by a backflow surge. The center tap O 'in connection with the star point O of the capacitors Q, C4 and C5 ensures that
that the voltage of the capacitors Cl and C2 is divided equally between the controllable semiconductors 301 and 304, so that the latter can be safely deleted. Since the motor M is inductive, the motor current wants to continue to flow, namely it flows back against the voltage U i via the non-return valves 322 and 323. The current drops in the process.
If the motor current reaches a lower limit value, the controllable semiconductors 301 and 304 are ignited again and the game is repeated, so that the motor current can be kept on average at a predefinable value.
If other motor phases are to take effect at the rate of the desired frequency, for example phases U-W, 301 and 304 are not re-ignited, but 301 and 306. The pulsed operation described above regulates the current in U-W in the same way to the predefinable value.
When the controllable semiconductors 301 and 306 are blocked, the respective motor current drops rapidly because it works against the entire supply voltage Ug.
This can be prevented by the fact that not both triodes currently in operation, for example 301 and 304, are deleted by the push-pull extinguishing circuit, but only one of them, for example 301. This is the case if not the two commutation triodes 312 and 313, but only triode 313 is ignited.
In this case, the voltage from C2 backs up via C3 to triode 301 and extinguishes it while triode 304 continues its current. This creates the freewheeling circuit indicated by dashed lines in the figure, in which the two current-carrying motor phases can continue to freewheel their current. The current then dies only slowly,
so that only after a long time, by re-ignition of 301, the motor phases are connected to the voltage Ug again and the current is raised again. In this way, the advantage is gained that energy does not unnecessarily oscillate back and forth between the supply source Ug and the motor, which is associated with unnecessary losses and which stresses the valves and reduces the efficiency, and also increases the pulse frequency.
However, high pulse frequency means additional stress on the semiconductor valves and losses in the chokes L1 and L2 and in the associated cut-off circuits.
The control of the triodes required for the described method is not shown in the picture; it can be implemented in a known manner by a digital, logic circuit. At the same time, the motor current is expediently regulated so that a desired motor current is obtained regardless of the operating state of the latter.
The switching of the picture also allows the motor to be braked easily and its energy to be returned to the supply source Ug. The direction of rotation can be reversed by reversing the phase sequence in the controller.
Expediently, the inverter is operated at a frequency that is greater than the current rotational frequency of the motor by a certain favorable slip frequency. The latter can be achieved by giving the Mato.rumlauffrequenz to a frequency generator via a differential; wherein the housing of the differential is driven at slip frequency.
If a synchronous motor is used, the inverter frequency must match the speed of rotation of the motor, which is also achieved by means of an RTI ID = "0003.0215" WI = "16" HE = "4" LX = "1787" LY = "1741 "> Frequency transmitter can be reached on the shaft of the motor. The desired torque is achieved through appropriate angle setting of the frequency generator on the shaft of the motor.
The object of the invention can also be achieved in other ways than in the picture, for example by using two separate midpoint circuits instead of a bridge circuit, which can be extinguished and ignited independently of one another, so that free-wheeling circuits are also obtained.
Two-phase or more than three-phase operation is also possible.
Since the pulsed operation, especially when it is carried out at a high frequency, brings additional stresses on the controllable valves, it is desirable that the pulse frequency is not too high.
On the other hand, if the pulse frequency is too low, the current fluctuations in the motor become too great, so that the rms value of the motor current becomes noticeably greater than the rms value of the fundamental wave, which alone is decisive for the torque. For this reason, it can be useful
Either the windings of the motor or the battery voltage can be switched over in one or more stages, d. H. adapt them to the respective speed of the motor. Both induction motors and synchronous motors require the lower the voltage, the lower the speed.
