Description
Das bekannte Auto-Notrufsystem arbeitet im Fahrzeug mit dem satellitengestützten Navigationssystem GPS zusammen, das auch Teil der Zielführung des Auto Pilot System (APS) ist. Im Gegensatz zu weiteren bekannten Ortungs- und Navigationssystemen muß Teleaid die geographischen Standortdaten zur Positionsbestimmung nicht mit einer digitalen Landkarte, etwa auf einer im Fahrzeug installierten CD-ROM abgleichen, wobei sich der Vorteil ergibt, dass das Kfz-Notrufsystem flächendeckend arbeiten kann.
Nach wie vor sind die bekannten Systeme jedoch nicht geeignet, dem Führer eines Kraftfahrzeugs Informationen über Gebots- oder Verbotssituationen dauerhaft, d.h. während deren Geltungsbereich darzubieten, um zumindest versehentliche Übertretungen, z.B. von Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen, zu vermeiden. Besonders bei längeren Autobahnstrecken mit häufig wechselnden Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen ist der Führer eines Kraftfahrzeugs häufig verwirrt, welche der ihm im Gedächtnis verbliebenen Begrenzungen tatsächlich noch wirksam sind, so dass die Gefahr besteht, dass sich der Fahrer am fließenden Verkehr orientiert unter Umständen mit der Folge einer nicht unerheblichen Geschwindigkeitsübertretung.
Weiterhin können gesetzlich festgelegte Geschwindigkeitsbegrenzungen beim Fahren in verschiedenen Staatsgebieten eingegeben und so bei Bedarf vom Fahrer abgerufen werden. Akustische und/oder optische Signale erinnern den Fahrer an eine gegebene, noch als gültig erkannte Tempobegrenzung. Ebenso kann auf eine vorhandene Fahrtregelungseinrichtung im Sinne eines Tempomaten steuerungsseitig eingegriffen werden, so dass eine Korrektur voreingestellter Geschwindigkeitswerte mit Blick auf momentane Verbote durchführbar ist.
Ebenso kann das Spreizband-Übertragungsverfahren genutzt werden, wobei hier besonders vorteilhaft schmalbandige Störungen unterdrückt werden können, die üblicherweise im ISM-Band auftreten. Falls die Spreizband-Übertragung gewählt ist, ist wiederum bevorzugt die Möglichkeit gegeben, auf Frequenzen im Bereich von 868 bis 870 MHz bei einer Bandbreite von bis zu 500 kHz zurückzugreifen.
Die Sendegeräte-Baueinheit kann mit dem zylindrischen Körper 4 in ein Befestigungsrohr 7 eingeführt und arretiert werden, wobei das Befestigungsrohr 7 wiederum der Aufnahme eines (nicht gezeigten) Verkehrsschilds dient. Der Vorteil einer integralen Baueinheit gemäß Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 2 besteht darin, dass diese Einheit in hohem Maße standardisierbar ist und ohne weiteres auch zum einfachen Nachrüsten vorhandener Verkehrsschilder und dort vorgesehener Befestigungsmittel Verwendung finden kann.

Claims (7)
- Verfahren zur drahtlosen Verkehrsinformations-Datenübertragung zwischen stationären oder bei Wanderbaustellen quasistationären Einheiten und fahrenden Kraftfahrzeugen (1) mit jeweils einem im Kraftfahrzeug befindlichen Empfänger, wobei den Verkehrszeichen oder Verkehrsieiteinrichtungen (2,3) jeweils programmierbare Sendegeräte (5) zugeordnet werden, die Sendegeräte (5) kontinuierlich oder diskontinuierlich codierte Informationen absetzen, welche dem jeweiligen Gebot, Verbot oder Hinweis entsprechen, und
der Empfänger die Informationen aufnimmt und decodiert sowie in geeigneter Weise optisch und/oder akustisch darstellt, wobei bei wiederholter identisch empfangener Information ein Informationsdaten-Refresh sowie beim Empfang geänderter Gebots-, Verbots- oder Hinweis-Information ein Überschreiben der Daten mit anschließender aktualisierter Datenausgabe vorgenommen sowie bei fehlendem Refresh-Signal innerhalb einer bestimmten Zeitspanne oder berechneter bzw. zurückgelegter Fahrzeug-Wegstrecke ein vorhandener Informations-Datenspeicher gelöscht wird,
weiterhin die Informationen im VHF-Rundfunkbereich und RDS-Format gesendet und von einem Rundfunkempfänger im Kraftfahrzeug in bekannter Weise decodiert und ausgegeben werden,
oder die Sendegeräte (5) im ISM-Bereich RDS-codiert arbeiten, wobei der Empfänger einen Umsetzer für den VHF-Bereich aufweist, so dass die jeweilige Information mit einem Kfz-Rundfunkempfänger decodiert und dargestellt werden kann. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
bei einem im Kraftfahrzeug (1) vorhandenen computergestützten Satelliten-Navigationssystem die jeweils empfangenen aktuellen Gebots-, Verbots- und Hinweisinformationen vom Navigationssystem übernommen und als Streckenzusatzinformation optisch und/oder akustisch angezeigt werden. - Verfahren nach Anspruch 1 oder 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
mit Empfang der codierten Information ein Bildspeicher oder Sprachausgabemodul aufgerufen wird, um anhand der dort jeweils abgelegten Speicherinhalte eine Identitätsprüfung durchzuführen, so dass das jeweilige Verkehrszeichen (2,3) in ein Fahrerdisplay zeitlich andauernd oder begrenzt einblendbar oder akustisch mit dem jeweiligen Gebots- oder Verbotsinhalt ausgebbar ist. - Vorrichtung zur Durchführung des Verfahrens nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Sendegerät (5) an einem Verkehrsschild oder Hinweiszeichen (2,3) angeordnet oder mit diesem als Baueinheit nur zerstörend entfernbar verbunden ist, wobei der oder die eine Richtcharakteristik aufweisenden Antennenstrahler als Flächenelemente ausgebildet und in der Schilderfläche integriert sind sowie weiterhin im Rundfunkempfänger des Kraftfahrzeugs ein löschbarer Informations-Datenspeicher vorgesehen ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Sendegerät im Schilder-Befestigungsmittel (7) integriert und am Schilder-Befestigungsmittel ein Solarpaneel (6) zur Stromversorgung und zum Puffern eines Akkumulators fixiert ist. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 4 oder 5,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
das Sendegerät einen Detektor zum Feststellen von Umgebungs- oder Umweltbedingungen aufweist, um in Abhängigkeit des Feststellens dieser Bedingungen eine Zusatzinformation abzustrahlen. - Vorrichtung nach Anspruch 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass
der Detektor einen Temperatur- und/oder Luftdrucksensor umfasst.
