Definitions

  • the invention relates to a tavaillon to achieve the roof of a roof.
  • the tavaillon is constituted by a wooden board, intended to be put to partial recovery to realize the covering of a roof.
  • the manufacture of the cloths is often artisanal, and is operated by practicing bleeding in a log, followed by a bursting by means of wedges driven into each groove.
  • the boards obtained reveal on the surface the wood fibers that are not cut during the burst. Rainwater flows along these fibers without penetrating the interior of the wood.
  • the apparent surface of these boards is often irregular, which complicates the pose in quiconce.
  • the artisanal cutting by burst generates a certain number of waste.
  • the outer rough surface of the shingles can also promote the formation of foam that promotes decay and decomposition of the wood. It is then necessary to carry out expensive special treatments to avoid or remove these foams.
  • the document FR 2712620 relates to a device for coating a roof imitating slate or shingle roofs.
  • the plates are placed by sliding and interlocking returns inside the continuous return.
  • the base of the latter is supported against returns, so as to ensure positioning in the direction of the slope. There are no ventilation gaps with adjacent elements.
  • the document DE 3628188 discloses a cover plate composed of a rectangular plate attached to an offset portion of the support core.
  • the object of the invention is to achieve a patch whose outer face has a long-lasting aesthetic structure, and anti-foam properties and fireproof.
  • the facing surface is equipped with a peripheral frame intended to be threaded into a groove of the wooden core.
  • the sleeve is provided with two peripheral hems extending in the longitudinal direction to form said positioning means.
  • the sleeve is preferably welded to the facing surface.
  • the core comprises a parallelepipedal profile with large parallel lateral faces in dihedral shapes, the sleeve extending on the side of the minimum thickness opposite the kerf.
  • the wooden soul is autoclaved to be rot-proof, and can be spruce, spruce or pine.
  • the soul can also be made of plastic.
  • the metal shell can be either copper, zinc, or stainless steel.
  • a patch 10 is composed of a rectangular core 12 of wood and a 14 metal shell surface.
  • the core 12 is formed by a cut wooden board, having undergone in an autoclave, a pressure impregnation treatment to be rotproof.
  • the autoclaved wood may be, for example, spruce, fir or pine.
  • the upper surface 16 of the core 12 is smooth, and is preferably inclined relative to the plane of the base 18, so as to constitute a decreasing thickness towards the terminal edge.
  • the two large opposite lateral faces 22, 24 of the core 12 extend parallel in the longitudinal direction xy of the spine 10, and each have a dihedral profile.
  • a horizontal groove 28 is produced which extends partially along the opposite lateral faces 22, 24 to the middle part of the core 12.
  • the groove 28 is obtained by sawing to a thickness of the order of 1 mm.
  • the metal envelope 14 constitutes a screed which partially covers the wooden core 12.
  • This yoke comprises a facing surface 30 on which is welded a sleeve 32 equipped with two hems 34, 36 peripherals.
  • the envelope 14 may be made by cutting and folding a metal sheet, in particular copper, zinc or stainless steel. Three of the four edges of the facing surface 30 are folded U, so as to form a frame 38 which fits into the groove 28 bearing against the edge 26 and the side faces 22, 24. The presence of the frame 38 prevents the metal casing 14 from sliding on the wooden core 12 towards the edge 20.
  • the fourth edge 40 of the facing surface 30 is rectilinear extending transversely to the middle of the upper surface 16 of the core 12 in a direction parallel to the edge 20.
  • the sleeve 32 has a width less than that of the 12, and is directed in the longitudinal direction xy, being perpendicular to the fourth edge 40. It is welded to the facing surface 30 with a predetermined overlap distance d.
  • the other end 42 of the sleeve 32 is positioned recessed with respect to the edge 20.
  • the two hems 34, 36 of the periphery of the sleeve 32 constitute hooks directed towards each other, so as to form a runoff water recovery channel.
  • a plurality of posts 10 according to the invention are superimposed in partial overlap to form the roof of a roof.
  • a The transverse space 44 is provided between two adjoining posts 10 of the same row, so as to be positioned just above a cuff 32 of the lower row. The runoff water is thus channeled through all the cuffs 32 over the entire roof surface.
  • the opposite ends of the posts 10 of each row are supported on the cuffs 34, 36 of the cuffs 32 of the lower row to form ventilation gaps 46 between the different rows.
  • the interstices 46 are coplanar at each row, while the spaces 44 transversely separate the posts 10 of the same row. This results in a natural circulation of air according to the arrows F ( Figure 5) to prevent moisture inside the cover.
  • the installer begins the cover from below, so as to superimpose the posts 10 exclusively on their metal screeds.
  • the cuffs 32 are directed upward relative to their respective facing surfaces.
  • the laying of the posts is carried out in a conventional manner by nailing on joists (not shown).
  • the fireproof property of the metallic outer surface of the blanket according to the invention is also an advantage over a roof covered with conventional wooden posts. Any fallout of embers escaping through the chimney is thus unable to cause a start of fire.
  • the core 12 can also be made of plastic.
