Definitions
- the present invention concerns a multi-use dispenser bottle that can be used primarily in the flower nursery and agricultural field for treating herbaceous, floricultural and arboreous cultivations with phytosanitary products and fertilizers, and also for dispensing products for home cleaning and sanitization and, in any case, suitable for dispensing such products as spray or in nebulized form.

- Removing the dispenser device from the bottle is an operation that has to be performed with a great deal of care, especially when the substances to be distributed are toxic, because the draw tube of the dispenser device will drip dangerously and thus disperse the substance in the environment or, worse still, contaminate the operator and other persons who may be present.
- the present invention therefore sets out to provide a multi-use dispenser bottle that will minimize the pollution and contamination risks mentioned above.
- Another object of the present invention is to provide a dispenser bottle of the aforementioned type that will also make it possible to improve and facilitate the handling of the substances to be distributed.
- the multi-use dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention, which comprises a body suitable for containing the product to be dispensed and having the characteristic that on said body there is arranged a first bottle mouth provided with a removable stopper and a second bottle mouth to which there is applied a spray-type dispenser device that draws the product from within the body of the bottle.
- the reference number 1 generally indicates the dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention.
- the bottle consists of a container body 2 having a capacity sufficient for containing an appropriate amount of the substance to be dispensed and can be advantageously provided with a handle 3 formed as part of said body 2.
- the first bottle mouth 4 is provided with a removable stopper 6, while to the second bottle mouth 5 there is applied a spray-type dispenser device of a known type, generically indicated by the reference number 7.
- the bottle mouth 5 bearing the dispenser device is situated immediately above handle 3 of the bottle.
- the dispenser device 7 no longer has to be removed, thus eliminating the principal source of the pollution and contamination risk, namely the dripping of the draw tube of the dispenser device after the latter has been detached from the bottle.
- the presence of mouth 4 closed by stopper 6 makes it possible for the bottle to be replenished or recharged through said mouth 4 after stopper 6 has been removed and without having to use mouth 5 to which the dispenser device 7 is attached. The same applies when the bottle contents have to be diluted.
- the bottle in accordance with the invention can be used both for dispensing its contents by means of spraying through the dispenser device 7, or by dosing predetermined amounts of liquid through mouth 4, and this once again without having to remove the dispenser device 7.
- the dispenser in accordance with the present invention also makes possible a significant saving of space, because the product to be dispensed does not have to be kept in a separate receptacle, but can all be contained in the same bottle and then poured from it whenever it is needed for other uses.
Abstract
Description
- The present invention concerns a multi-use dispenser bottle that can be used primarily in the flower nursery and agricultural field for treating herbaceous, floricultural and arboreous cultivations with phytosanitary products and fertilizers, and also for dispensing products for home cleaning and sanitization and, in any case, suitable for dispensing such products as spray or in nebulized form. The bottle is particularly suitable for hobby and household use, but can also advantageously be employed for professional purposes.
- As is well known, the use of products of the aforementioned type presents various degrees of risk for the operator and the environment, because the handling of these substances can often prove polluting and harmful for health. For dispensing these substances, be it at the amateur or professional level, there are available bottles with spray dispensers of which the draw tube is immersed in the liquid to be dispensed contained in the bottle. In this type of dispenser the bottle mouth serves not only for attaching the dispenser device, but also for the possible operations of replenishing the bottle after the removal of the dispenser device and for directly dosing the substance contained in the bottle without spraying it, for example, when it is to be spread over the ground.
- These objects are achieved with the multi-use dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention, which comprises a body suitable for containing the product to be dispensed and having the characteristic that on said body there is arranged a first bottle mouth provided with a removable stopper and a second bottle mouth to which there is applied a spray-type dispenser device that draws the product from within the body of the bottle.
- The invention will now be illustrated in greater detail by the description about to be given of a particular embodiment thereof, which is to be considered solely as an example and not limitative in any way, said description making reference to the attached drawings of which:
- figure 1 shows a perspective view of a dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention.
- Referring to this figure, the reference number 1 generally indicates the dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention. The bottle consists of a
container body 2 having a capacity sufficient for containing an appropriate amount of the substance to be dispensed and can be advantageously provided with ahandle 3 formed as part of saidbody 2. - At the top of
body 2 there are provided two bottle-mouth openings 4 and 5. The first bottle mouth 4 is provided with aremovable stopper 6, while to thesecond bottle mouth 5 there is applied a spray-type dispenser device of a known type, generically indicated by thereference number 7. - With a view to making it possible for a single hand to both hold the bottle and operate the dispenser device, the
bottle mouth 5 bearing the dispenser device is situated immediately abovehandle 3 of the bottle. - Since the bottle 1 is provided with two mouths, the
dispenser device 7 no longer has to be removed, thus eliminating the principal source of the pollution and contamination risk, namely the dripping of the draw tube of the dispenser device after the latter has been detached from the bottle. In fact, the presence of mouth 4 closed bystopper 6 makes it possible for the bottle to be replenished or recharged through said mouth 4 afterstopper 6 has been removed and without having to usemouth 5 to which thedispenser device 7 is attached. The same applies when the bottle contents have to be diluted. - Furthermore, the bottle in accordance with the invention can be used both for dispensing its contents by means of spraying through the
dispenser device 7, or by dosing predetermined amounts of liquid through mouth 4, and this once again without having to remove thedispenser device 7. - It should also be noted that the dispenser in accordance with the present invention also makes possible a significant saving of space, because the product to be dispensed does not have to be kept in a separate receptacle, but can all be contained in the same bottle and then poured from it whenever it is needed for other uses.
- Variations and/or modifications can be brought to the dispenser bottle in accordance with the present invention without for this reason departing from the scope of the invention as defined by the claims hereinbelow.
Claims (2)
