Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass die Schranktüre ein Sichtfenster aufweist, dass die Arbeits- und/oder Ablageplatte und die Oberseite des als Schaltschrank ausgebildeten Unterteils mit aufeinander ausgerichteten Kabeldurchführungs-Durchbrüchen versehen sind und dass im Bereich des der Vorderseite des Schaltschrankes zugeordneten Teils der Arbeits- und/oder Ablageplatte eine ausziehbare Auszugsplatte untergebracht ist. Der Unterbau des PC-Schaltschrankes ist auf ein als Schaltschrank ausgebildetes Unterteil mit wesentlich reduzierter Standfläche beschränkt. Die aufeinander ausgerichteten Kabeldurchführungs-Durchbrüche in der Oberseite des Schaltschrankes und der Arbeits- und/oder Ablageplatte lassen eine bequeme elektrische Verbindung des Bildschirmgerätes und anderer auf der Arbeits- und/ oder Ablageplatte abgestellter Zusatzgeräte zu. Zudem kann das Arbeits- und/oder Ablagefeld durch die aus der Vorderseite der Arbeits- und/oder Ablageplatte ausziehbaren Auszugsplatte leicht vergrößert werden. Der Schaltschrank kann auf herkömmliche Einbausysteme für elektronische Einbauten ausgelegt werden.
