Claims (11)

  1. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece, at the housing (1) of which a connecting stub pipe (3) for connection of a guide suction pipe (2) is provided, characterised in that provided at at least one side of the mouthpiece housing (1) is an element which protrudes beyond the profile of the mouthpiece housing (1) and extends in the plane of the support surface of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece and which runs to a point at its free end (5).
  2. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1, characterised in that the element is formed as a spoiler-like surface (4).
  3. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the element or the spoiler-like surface (4) is provided at the front side of the mouthpiece housing (1).
  4. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the element or the spoiler-like surface (4) is formed at the front side of the mouthpiece housing (1) to be curved upwardly through approximately 90° relative to the support surface of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece.
  5. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the element or the spoiler like surface (4) is provided at the rear side of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece.
  6. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the element or the spoiler like surface (4) is provided at at least one narrow side (6) of the mouthpiece housing (1).
  7. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the element or the spoiler like surface (4) is formed integrally at the mouthpiece housing (1).
  8. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that the element is formed to be spur-like or as an apex of a triangle.
  9. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to any one of the preceding claims, characterised in that a brush carrier (7), which is mounted on the mouthpiece housing (1) to be pivotable between a working and a non-working setting and to which the element (9) is fastened and is pivotable in common with the brush carrier (7), is provided.
  10. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to any one of the preceding claims characterised in that the element (9) is connected with the mouthpiece housing (1) by way of a pivot axle or a detent strip and is pivotable relative to the mouthpiece housing (1) or detentable in different positions in height in the detent strip.
  11. Vacuum cleaner mouthpiece according to claim 9 or 10, characterised in that the element (9) is pivotable below the plane of the support surface of the vacuum cleaner mouthpiece.
