Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for Insert the upper thread into the eye of the needle on one Sewing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
- the object of the present invention is to create a Device for inserting the upper thread into the eye of the Needle with which the hook is independent of the position of the needle and their thickness always exactly in the middle between the two Guide jaws are centered.
- the same design of the two sides of the Hooks arranged guide jaws and their symmetrical Suspension allows the interposed Always hook exactly the same distance from the two To hold the inside of the jaws and thus without contact to insert the eye of the needle.
- the swinging suspension the plate carrying the guide jaws further enables one essentially force-free centering of the two Guide jaws with respect to the needle axis and thus the eye of the Needle.
- a curved needle swings the plate until the guide jaws are symmetrical to the needle.
- the distance the guide jaw at the narrowest point is smaller than the diameter of the thinnest needle. This enables one perfect centering on the eye of the needle.
- the device referred to as "threader 19" for short comprises a cylindrical holding means 27 in the example, with that of the threader 19 to the lower end of the rod 17th can be coupled.
- a Swivel arm 29 On the holding means 27 is a Swivel arm 29 attached.
- the holding means 27 and the Swivel arm 29 are preferably in one piece and made of Made of plastic.
- a thread guide plate 31 engages both partially the holding means 27 and the Swivel arm 29 and protrudes, shaped as down Directed bracket 33, tangential to the holding means 27 and ends laterally and spaced from the end of the Swivel arm 29 as a cranked angle 35 as Inlet plate 37.

- the threader 19 is explained in more detail below.
- the rod 17 is lowered with the hook 57 fastened to its lower end and the two guide jaws 49 and 51 downward by pressure from above onto the finger rest 21 and swiveled clockwise shortly before reaching the lowest position.
- the pivoting takes place via the schematically represented curve 24 at the upper end of the rod 17. If an unbent needle 7 is present, the two ends 53, 55 of the two guide jaws 49, 51 come into contact with the needle 7 simultaneously and symmetrically the rod 17, the two guide jaws 49 and 51 are spread simultaneously and to the same extent and the hook 57 located between the two guide jaws 49 and 51 can slide through the eye 25 of the needle 7 without contact. This ideal starting position is not shown in the figures.
- the guide jaw 49 first comes into contact with the needle. Due to the force acting on the guide jaw 49 in the direction of the arrow x (FIG. 4), the plate 45, to which the two guide jaws 49 and 51 and the hook 57 are fastened, swivels clockwise about the axis B and centers the two guide jaws 49 and 51 with respect to the needle 7.
- the hook 57 which now lies exactly in front of the eye 25 due to the pivoting movement of the plate 45, pushes through it and protrudes beyond the eye 25.
- an upper thread 63 which is in a thread guide 61 is attached to the needle holder 5 of the sewing machine, under the bracket 33 and the two guide jaws 49 and 51 through to slot 41 (Fig.8).
- the upper thread 63 becomes the v-shaped course of the slot 41 brought up from below to the hook 57.
- the rod 17 swivels back and the hook 57 catches the upper thread 63 and pulls this through the eye 25 and throws it a further swivel by a few degrees and vertical movement started upwards.
- the hook 57 formed loop can be gripped by hand and the thread end to be pulled through the eye of the needle 25.
- the Threader 19 moves into its raised position by spring force protected position under the upper arm 3 back.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for Insert the upper thread into the eye of the needle on one Sewing machine according to the preamble of claim 1.
The insertion of a thread in the inevitably very small Eye of the needle on a sewing machine is especially for older people difficult. On the one hand you need to do this a steady hand and on the other hand the thread end, which is pushed through the eye, free of protruding Fibers. There are devices for this tedious work become known, some by hand with an auxiliary device or fully automatic, that means the thread at the push of a button to thread through the eye. Regardless of whether threading by hand or fully automatically by an appropriate Device is always a very fine catch necessary with which the thread is caught behind the eye and a thread loop when pulling through the eye is formed. For fine needles like those at Household sewing machines are usually used, the thickness of the hook is approx. 0.2 mm. This has to Consequence that even the slightest forces are on the hook act, bend the latter and thus the entire Device on which the hook is anchored is unusable do. Such forces acting on the hook can occur when, for example, the sewing needle is slight is bent and therefore the eye is not at the predetermined location, so that the pivoting Pushes the hook on the needle. Most known For this reason, insertion devices have the side of the Hooks guide jaws or sheets, the ends of which are conical are formed diverging.
One such example is shown in US Pat. No. 2,538,395. The inner sides, ie the two surfaces of the guide jaws, which lie opposite one another, run parallel and are at a mutual distance which is insignificantly greater than the thickness of the needle. This means that suitable guide jaws must be provided for each needle dimension. For a thicker needle, it would not be possible to insert it between the guide jaws, and a thinner needle would not be guided centrally, thereby bending the hook. In order to counteract bending of the hook and to guide a slightly crooked needle between the two guide jaws, the threader is suspended elastically. However, as already explained above, the elastic suspension does not protect the hook from bending if a thin needle is caught off-center.
From US-A-5,615,629 a fully automatic threading device is also known in which the two guide jaws are made of a resilient sheet metal material and the inner sides of which are parallel to one another. The ends of the two guide jaws can be bent outwards and thereby allow centering with respect to the needle. However, the extremely fine hook is not protected against bending by this known device because the needle cannot be guided exactly in the middle between the two guide jaws if, as is explicitly shown in FIG. 6 in an example of US Pat. No. 5,615,629, the a cheek dodges and the hook no longer surely hits the middle eye of the needle.
The object of the present invention is to create a Device for inserting the upper thread into the eye of the Needle with which the hook is independent of the position of the needle and their thickness always exactly in the middle between the two Guide jaws are centered.
This object is achieved by a device with the features of patent claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the invention are described in the dependent claims.
The same design of the two sides of the Hooks arranged guide jaws and their symmetrical Suspension allows the interposed Always hook exactly the same distance from the two To hold the inside of the jaws and thus without contact to insert the eye of the needle. The swinging suspension the plate carrying the guide jaws further enables one essentially force-free centering of the two Guide jaws with respect to the needle axis and thus the eye of the Needle. A curved needle swings the plate until the guide jaws are symmetrical to the needle. The distance the guide jaw at the narrowest point is smaller than the diameter of the thinnest needle. This enables one perfect centering on the eye of the needle.

Beim weiteren
hindurchgleiten. Diese ideale Ausgangslage ist in den
Figuren nicht dargestellt. Befindet sich die Achse der
Nadel jedoch versetzt zur Soll-Lage (vgl. Figur 3), so
The operation of the

Now an
