Abstract

    Procédé de mise en volume et d'assemblage partiel, à partir d'un flan prédécoupé et refoulé, d'un conditionnement en un matériau semi-rigide tel que le carton ou le carton ondulé, du type comprenant une pluralité de parois latérales articulées entre elles par des premières lignes de pliage et dont certaines au moins comportent, à au moins l'une de leurs extrémités, un volet dit "rabat" articulé sur la paroi attenante par une seconde ligne de pliage, les lignes de pliage associées aux volets disposés à une même extrémité des parois étant disposées dans un même plan transversal, de manière que les volets rabattus soient disposés sensiblement dans ce plan au contact des volets contigus et assemblés et verrouillés par des moyens connus dans la technique, ce procédé comprenant des étapes de mise en volume et d'assemblage des parois latérales (2-5) du conditionnement et des étapes de pliage des rabats (6a-9a) disposés à une même extrémité de certaines de ces parois perpendiculairement à celles-ci et d'assemblage éventuel de ces rabats, la mise en volume du conditionnement étant effectuée autour d'une structure rigide mobile (11) de section externe correspondant au moins partiellement à la section interne du conditionnement à former, ce procédé étant caractérisé en ce que : pendant la mise en oeuvre des différentes étapes, ladite structure rigide (11) est animée d'un mouvement alternatif entre une première position, dans laquelle le flan de départ (1) repose par une première paroi sur une face correspondante de la structure, et une seconde position, dans laquelle une partie au moins des parois contiguës (3, 4, 5) et des rabats associés (8a) disposés à une même extrémité occupent la position repliée qui est la leur dans le conditionnement mis en volume, avec retour ensuite de la structure (11) à la première position, dans laquelle les autres parois (2) et les autres rabats associés (6a, 7a, 9a) disposés à la même extrémité occupent également la position repliée et assemblée qui est la leur dans le conditionnement monté, tandis que l'extrémité opposée reste ouverte ; une partie au moins des opérations de pliage et/ou d'assemblage est effectuée pendant le trajet de la structure rigide (11) entre la première et la seconde position et/ou entre la seconde et la première position, sous la sollicitation d'organes fixes en position, au contact desquels vient le flan au cours des déplacements de la structure rigide ; après retour de la structure rigide (11) à la première position, la structure est immobilisée et le conditionnement mis en volume est dégagé par coulissement par rapport à celle-ci, tandis qu'un nouveau flan est mis en position sur la structure rigide.
