  • the picking up means 17 release the semi-packaged group of articles in the initial area of upper holding bands 75, 76, similar to the upper bands 73 and 74 and fulfilling the same function.
  • the flaps of the still open heads of the package are folded and welded together along the outlet line.
  • the method and apparatus according to the present invention achieve the aim of wrapping articles, such as in particular rolls of paper or the like, gathered in packs or groups, within a film, in such a way as to leave perfectly free from welding both the most extended surfaces of the packs or groups of packaged articles.

Claims (13)

  1. Méthode pour envelopper des articles dans une feuille d'emballage, caractérisée en ce qu'elle inclut :
    - le transport le long d'une ligne d'alimentation (1) des groupes d'articles (2, 22) à emballer, les groupes étant disposés de façon ordonnée avec une dimension latérale restreinte desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) orientée selon la direction d'avancement (A) ;
    - le transport de chaque feuille d'emballage (3) à côté de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), en phase parfaite avec l'avancement desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) le long de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1) ;
    - le transfert desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) de façon transversale par rapport à ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), de façon à ce que les groupes d'articles touchent lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) avec ladite dimension latérale restreinte afin de plier lesdites feuilles (3) autour desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) ;
    - la jonction des bords pliés desdites feuilles d'emballage (3) le long du côté opposé desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) présentant une dimension latérale restreinte correspondante ;
    - le transfert des groupes d'articles (2, 22) respectivement enveloppés avec lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) de façon transversale par rapport à la direction d'avancement le long de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), en maintenant inchangée l'orientation des groupes d'articles (2, 22) afin de fermer les emballages dans la zone des parties supérieures opposées desdits articles (2, 22).
  2. Méthode selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) sont déplacées, en étant maintenues sur un plan vertical, de façon longitudinale par rapport à ladite ligne d'alimentation (1).
  3. Méthode selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) sont déplacées vers l'avant à côté de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), à une vitesse égale à celle de la ligne d'alimentation (1).
  4. Méthode selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) sont transférés transversalement par rapport à la dite ligne d'alimentation (1), afin de toucher lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) dans une zone centrale, pliant ainsi lesdites feuilles (3) sur les surfaces les plus étendues, supérieures et inférieures, desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22).
  5. Méthode selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que des moyens de soufflage (10), apte à maintenir tendus les bords desdites feuilles d'emballage (3) lors de leur pliage, sont actionnés lors de la phase de transfert desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) transversalement à ladite ligne d'alimentation (1).
  6. Méthode selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) sortant de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), sont saisis par leurs surfaces les moins étendues déjà fermées pour les transférer sur une ligne de sortie (13) sans modifier leur orientation afin d'effectuer le pliage et la soudure des bords des surfaces les moins étendues encore ouvertes.
  7. Dispositif pour envelopper des groupes d'articles avec une feuille d'emballage, caractérisé en ce qu'il inclut :
    - une ligne d'alimentation (1) pour alimenter des groupes d'articles (2, 22) à emballer, disposés de manière ordonnée avec une dimension latérale restreinte desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) orientée selon la direction d'avancement (A) ;
    - des moyens de traction (9) pour déplacer chaque feuille d'emballage (3) à côté de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1) en phase parfaite avec l'avancement desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) le long de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1) ;
    - une ligne d'enveloppage (7) des articles (2, 22) située à côté de ladite ligne d'alimentation (1) et incluant une bande transporteuse supérieure (71) et une bande transporteuse inférieure (72), dites bandes transporteuses (71, 72) disposées l'une en dessous de l'autre et opérant dans des directions opposées, avec une vitesse périphérique équivalente à celle de la ligne d'alimentation (1), afin de définir des courses opposées respectives se déplaçant simultanément dans ladite direction d'avancement (A) ;
    - des poussoirs (5), aptes à transférer lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) transversalement à ladite ligne d'alimentation (1), de telle sorte que les groupes d'articles touchent lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3) avec ladite dimension latérale restreinte et à introduire les groupes d'articles (2, 22) avec leur feuilles respectives (3) entre ladite paire de bandes transporteuses (71, 72) afin de plier lesdites feuilles (3) sur lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) ;
    - des moyens de soudage (12) aptes à joindre les bords pliés desdites feuilles d'emballage (3) le long du côté opposé desdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) présentant une dimension latérale restreinte correspondante ;
    - des moyens de fonctionnement (14) aptes à modifier la direction d'avancement des groupes d'articles (2, 22) partiellement emballés afin de souder les parties supérieures desdits emballages.
  8. Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de fonctionnement incluent, en aval de ladite ligne (7) pour emballer lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) avec lesdites feuilles d'emballage (3), un appareil de transport (14) en rotation sur un axe vertical, ledit élément de transport rotatif (14) comportant une série d'éléments de prise (17), pivotant à la périphérie, aptes à prendre lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22), enveloppés dans les feuilles d'emballage (3), et à les transférer de façon ordonnée vers une ligne de sortie (13), en maintenant inchangée leur orientation par effet de la rotation simultanée desdits éléments de prise (17), dans la direction opposée au sens de rotation dudit appareil de transport rotatif (14).
  9. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que la partie en aval de ladite bande transporteuse (72) s'étend au-delà de l'extrémité de la bande transporteuse supérieure (71) et qu'au moins une courroie (73, 74) est située dans la zone étendue afin de retenir, par la partie supérieure, les groupes d'articles semi-emballés en les appuyant contre la bande transporteuse inférieure (72) située en dessous, avec lesdits éléments de prise (17) agissant au-dessus desdits groupes d'articles.
  10. Dispositif selon la revendication 8, caractérisé en ce que ladite ligne (13) inclut au moins une courroie (75, 76) apte à retenir, par la partie inférieure, les groupes d'articles semi-emballés en les appuyant contre la ligne (13) située en dessous, avec lesdits groupes d'articles introduits par lesdits moyens de prise (17) entre ladite ligne (13) et les courroies (75, 76).
  11. Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que ladite ligne d'alimentation (1) inclut un élément convoyeur équipé d'une série de barres (4), entre lesquelles sont placés les groupes d'articles (2, 22) à emballer, avec les espaces définis par lesdites barres (4) connectés aux poussoirs respectifs (5) qui transfèrent lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) transversalement à ladite ligne d'alimentation (1).
  12. Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce qu'il inclut des moyens de soufflage (10) situés dans la zone où les groupes d'articles (2, 22) sont enveloppés et aptes à maintenir tendus les bords desdites feuilles d'emballage (3) lors de leur pliage.
  13. Dispositif selon la revendication 7, caractérisé en ce que lesdits moyens de soudage (12), aptes à joindre les bords pliés desdites feuilles d'emballage (3), incluent des courroies de soudage agissant le long de ladite ligne (7) pour emballer lesdits groupes d'articles (2, 22) à l'intérieur desdites feuilles d'emballage (3), en aval des éléments de pliage (11, 41) aptes à superposer les extrémités ouvertes desdits bords des feuilles (3).
