Definitions
- the invention relates to a process for the production of protective work clothing consisting of a microfilament nonwoven fabric with basis weights of 60 to 300 g / m 2 and a tensile strength of> 150 N.
- Occupational safety clothing has very different requirements posed. In addition to the resilience, which is reflected in the tear resistance of the Expresses substance, are good processability and depending on the application a small material thickness or a good thermal insulation capacity or Dust tightness, breathability, moisture transport properties and Care properties of interest. So far, as work protective clothing Fabrics woven from different fiber mixtures are used tend to fray or fray due to their weave structure and therefore had to be hemmed. At the same time with woven fabrics with regard to their strength, the direction of the fabric always increases note. These disadvantages apply to a nonwoven fabric such as that from US 5,970,583.
- the invention has set itself the task of an inexpensive Protective work clothing that has a tensile strength> 150 N. Manufacture.
- the object is achieved by a method according to claim 1, in which protective work clothing is produced from a microfilament nonwoven fabric with grammages from 60 to 300 g / m 2 and a tensile strength of> 150 N, the nonwoven fabric being melt-spun, stretched and directly into a nonwoven deposited multi-component continuous filaments with a titer of 1.5 to 5 dtex and the multi-component continuous filaments are optionally split and consolidated at least 80% to micro-continuous filaments with a titer of 0.1 to 0.8 dtex after pre-consolidation. Due to the endless filaments, protective clothing is not required to be hemmed and there is no fraying or fraying.
- Protective work clothing is preferably one in which the nonwoven fabric is made of melt-spun, aerodynamically stretched and instantly one Non-woven deposited multi-component continuous filaments with a titer 1.5 to 3 dtex exists and the multi-component continuous filaments at least 80% Micro continuous filaments with a titer of 0.1 to 0.3 dtex split and are solidified.
- the protective work clothing has an isotropic Filament distribution in the fleece. Therefore, the Machine direction when cutting the parts of the protective work clothing not mandatory.
- Protective work clothing is preferably one in which the Multi-component continuous filament a bicomponent continuous filament made of two incompatible polymers, especially a polyester and a polyamide, consists.
- a continuous bicomponent filament has a good one Cleavage in micro continuous filaments and creates a favorable ratio from strength to basis weight.
- it is Protective work clothing due to the polymers used and their Filament structure low in creases, easy to wash and quick drying, i.e. easy to clean.
- Protective work clothing is preferably one in which the Multicomponent filaments a cross section with orange or also have a multi-segment structure called "pie", the segments alternately each contain one of the two incompatible polymers.
- the segments alternately each contain one of the two incompatible polymers.
- this orange-like multi-segment structure of the multi-component continuous filaments is also a "side-by-side" (s / s) segment arrangement of the incompatible polymers in the multi-component continuous filament possible is preferably used to produce crimped filaments.
- Such Arrangements of the incompatible polymers in the multicomponent continuous filament have proven to be very easy to split.
- the "Pie" segment arrangement in and out of the multi-component filaments split micro continuous filaments favor the ability to absorb moisture the protective work clothing according to the invention.
- the protective work clothing is preferably one in which at least one of the multi-component continuous filament incompatible polymers an additive, such as color pigments, permanently acting Antistatic agents and / or the hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties influencing additives in amounts up to 10 percent by weight.
- an additive such as color pigments, permanently acting Antistatic agents and / or the hydrophilic or hydrophobic properties influencing additives in amounts up to 10 percent by weight.
- From Spun-dyed filaments existing protective clothing has a very good wash fastness. Static Charges reduced or avoided and the moisture transport properties be improved. This also makes the Washability improves, i.e. the consumption of detergents is reduced and the Reduced drying time.
- the inventive method for producing a Protective work clothing consists of multi-component continuous filaments spun from the melt, stretched and immediately into a fleece are stored, if necessary a pre-consolidation takes place and the nonwoven solidified by high pressure fluid jets as at the same time in micro continuous filaments is split with a titer of 0.1 to 0.8 dtex.
- the so obtained Protective work clothing is very uniform in terms of its thickness, it shows an isotropic thread distribution, has no tendency to delaminate and is characterized by high module values.
- the method for producing the Protective work clothing carried out in such a way that the consolidation and The multi-component continuous filaments are split by the fact that the Pre-consolidated nonwoven fabric at least once on each side with high pressure water jets is applied.
- the protective work clothing shows a good surface and a degree of splitting of the multi-component continuous filaments > 80% on.
- the protective work clothing according to the invention is advantageously used for To increase their abrasion resistance, they are subjected to a point calendering.
- the split and consolidated nonwoven fabric is heated by rollers guided, of which at least one roller has elevations that lead to a punctual fusion of the filaments with each other.
- a method in which the multi-component continuous filaments are particularly preferred be spin-dyed.
- the integration of the dyes in the Polymer fibers lead to excellent wash fastness.
- the protective workwear manufactured according to the invention can be used as Overalls, smocks, jackets, aprons, pants and skirts are processed.
- a filament pile with a basis weight of 154 g / m 2 is produced from a polyethylene terephthalate polyamide (PET-PA) bicomponent filament with a weight ratio of PET / PA66 in the elementary filament of 70/30 and subjected to water jet needling at pressures of up to 230 bar on both sides ,
- PET-PA polyethylene terephthalate polyamide
- the bicomponent continuous filaments have a titer of ⁇ 0.2 dtex after the water jet needling, which leads to a simultaneous splitting of the starting filaments.
- the work clothing made of continuous micro filaments has a water vapor transmission index i mt of 0.45, a short-term water vapor absorption capacity F i of 0.8 g / m 2 and a water vapor transmission resistance R et of 3.49 m 2 Pa / W.
- the thermal insulation capacity expressed by the thermal resistance R ct is 26.0 10 -3 m 2 K / W.
- the tensile strength in the machine direction is 330 N and 372 N across it.
