Die genannten Profile enthalten teleskopartig ineinandergreifende Schenkel oder dergleichen, wobei ein minimaler und maximaler Abstand entsprechend vorgebbar ist. Sind die genannten Profile auf den maximalen Abstand zueinander eingestellt, so ist eine entsprechend große Gesamtbreite vorhanden, welche nachteilig für das Gesamterscheinungsbild einer Duschtrennwand sein kann, zumal heute im Hinblick auf ein ansprechendes Design möglichst schmale Profile angestrebt werden. dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dem Profil (2, 3) ein Führungskörper (14) mit einer zumindest näherungsweise quer zur Längsachse (6) des Profils (2, 3) verlaufenden Ausnehmung oder Quernut (30) zugeordnet ist,
daß in der Ausnehmung oder Quernut (30) ein Verbindungskörper (32) verschiebbar angeordnet ist,
daß auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Längskante (16) ein an der Längskante (16) anliegender Befestigungskörper (44) vorgesehen ist, welcher mittels eines Verbindungselements (42) mit dem Verbindungskörper (32) derart verbunden ist, daß die Längskante (16) und somit das Wandelement (4) bezüglich des Profils (2, 3) festgelegt ist.
