Abstract

Ein Knöchelschützer (1) mit einem Schienbeinschützer (2) für sportliche Zwecke, wobei der Schienbeinschützer (2) aus einer den zu schützenden Bereich des Beines (3) abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale (4) aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial besteht, soll so ausgestaltet werden, dass ein verbesserter und optimierter Schlagschutz in weiteren Bereichen dieses Knöchelschützers (1) gewährleistet ist. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass der Knöchelschützer (1) in schlaggefährdeten Bereichen mit zumindest zwei oder mit einer Mehrzahl von gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereichen (5) ausgestattet ist, die jeweils ein Polsterelement (6) aufweisen.

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf einen Knöchelschützer, insbesondere in Verbindung mit einem fest oder lösbar mit diesem verbundenen Schienbeinschützer für sportliche Zwecke, wobei der Schienbeinschützer aus einer den zu schützenden Bereich des Beines abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial besteht.
Ein Knöchelschützer der gattungsgemäßen Art ist beispielsweise aus der DE 295 00 630 Ul bekannt. Für verschiedene Sportarten, beispielsweise für Fußball oder Hockey, wird ein Schutz für Schienbeine und Knöchel benötigt. In der genannten Gebrauchsmusterschrift wird ein Schienbeinschutz offenbart, der eine kompakte Kunststoffschale aufweist, die mit Polstermaterial hinterfüttert ist. Mit dem Schienbeinschutz fest verbunden ist ein Knöchelschutz, der für einen Schutz schlaggefährdeter Bereiche des Knöchels sorgt.
Aus der DE 297 06 358 Ul ist gleichermaßen ein kombinierter Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer bekannt, wobei dort vorgesehen ist, daß der Schienbeinschützer und der Knöchelschützer lösbar miteinander verbunden und damit jederzeit voneinander getrennt werden können. Ansonsten ist aus dieser Gebrauchsmusterschrift gleichermaßen bekannt, daß eine mit Schaumstoff hinterfütterte Kunststoffschale für den Schutz des Schienbeins sorgt. Die Knöchelschützer der vorbekannten Art bieten jedoch keinen optimalen Schutz für besonders schlaggefährdete, zusätzliche Bereiche, nämlich den Rist- und/oder den Fersenbereich.
Der Erfindung liegt demgemäß die Aufgabe zugrunde, den eingangs beschriebenen Knöchelschützer derart weiterzuent- wickeln, daß ein verbesserter und optimierter Schlagschutz in weiteren Bereichen dieses Knöchelschützers gewährleistet ist und zwar bei gleichzeitiger guter Flexibilität und Dauerhaltbarkeit dieses Knöchelschützers. Des weiteren soll erreicht werden, daß der Knöchelschützer sich bestmöglich an die jeweilige Form des Fußes anpassen kann.
Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe durch die Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Knöchelschützer in schlaggefährdeten Bereichen mit zumindest zwei oder mit einer Mehrzahl von gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereichen ausgestattet ist, die jeweils ein Polsterelement aufweisen.
Bevorzugt ist dabei daran gedacht, daß die schlaggefährdeten Bereiche der Rist- und/oder der Fersenbereich sind, die neben dem Knöchelbereich besonders zu schützen sind.
Ein besonders guter Stoßdämpfungseffekt wird dann erreicht, wenn die gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereiche streifenförmig ausgebildet sind.
Der Ristbereich wird dann besonders gut geschützt, wenn die abgesetzten Bereiche im wesentlichen quer zur Beinlängsachse angeordnet sind. Im übrigen ergibt sich für den Fersenbereich dann ein optimaler Schutz, wenn die abgesetzten Bereiche im wesentlichen parallel zur Beinlängsachse angeordnet sind.
Als Schaumstoff eignen sich grundsätzlich beliebige geschäumte Kunststoffe.
Bevorzugt wird jedoch als Material für die Polsterelemente geschäumtes Polyurethan (PU) oder geschäumtes Ethylen-Vinyl- Acetat (EVA) eingesetzt.
Herstellungstechnisch vorteilhaft ist es, wenn bei dem erfindungsgemäßen Knöchelschützer die einzelnen, gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereiche durch Thermoverschweißung gebildet sind.
Eine Bedeutung kommt auch der Dicke bzw. der Härte der Polsterelemente zu:
Bevorzugt weisen die Polsterelemente eine Dicke von 3 mm bis 6 mm, insbesondere von 4 mm auf .
Die Shore-Härte (nach Typ A) liegt vorteilhafterweise zwischen 25 und 45, insbesondere bei 35.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt.
Fig. 1 zeigt schematisch in dreidimensionaler Ansicht die Vorderseite eines mit einem Schienbeinschützer und mit einem Knöchelschützer geschützten Beines, in Fig. 2 ist schematisch die Rückansicht des Knöchel- Schützers gemäß Fig. 1 zu sehen,
Fig. 3 stellt einen Teilquerschnitt durch den Knöchelschützer dar.
Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte kombinierte Schienbein- und Knöchelschützer kommt für verschiedene Sportarten in Frage, bei denen die Spieler einer Schlagbelastung auf den Fußbereich ausgesetzt sind.
Hierfür ist ein Schienbeinschützer 2 vorgesehen, dessen Schale 4 aus kompaktem, d.h. hartem, Kunststoffmaterial besteht. Zur Versteifung kann vorgesehen sein, daß - wie in der Fig. 1 angedeutet - die Schale 4 auf der Innenseite mit einem wabenformigen Versteifungsmaterial versehen ist. Die Schale 4 ist mit einem geeigneten Polstermaterial hinterfüttert, um ein weiches Anliegen der Schale 4 am Bein 3 sicherzustellen. Der Schienbeinschützer 2 wird - wie an sich bekannt - mittels nicht näher dargestellter Haltebänder, vorzugsweise mit Klettverschluß am Bein 3 befestigt .
Mit dem Schienbeinschützer 2 fest oder lösbar (beispielsweise über Klettverschlüsse) verbunden ist der erfindungs- gemäße Knöchelschützer 1.
Diesem kommt die Aufgabe zu, sowohl die Knöchel selbst als auch den Rist- 7 und Fersenbereich 8, insbesondere auch den Achillessehnenbereich 9, vor Schlägen wirksam zu schützen. Für den Schutz der Knöchel kommen im Stand der Technik hinlänglich bekannte, elastisch ausgepolsterte Kappen 10, vorzugsweise aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial zum Einsatz, wie sich aus Fig. 1 ergibt.
Zum Schutz des Rist- 7 und Fersenbereichs 8, insbesondere des Achillessehnenbereichs 9, kommen indes gegeneinander abgesetzte Bereiche 5 zum Einsatz. Hierbei handelt es sich um nebeneinander angeordnete Polsterstreifen, die jeweils voneinander getrennt sind. Dies kann auf einfache Art und Weise dadurch erreicht werden, daß die maßgeblichen Bereiche durch Thermoschweißen voneinander abgegrenzt werden.
Wie Fig. 1 zu entnehmen ist, sind die im Ristbereich 7 vorgesehenen abgesetzten Bereiche 5 im wesentlichen quer zur Längsachse des Beins 3 angeordnet.
Der Fig. 2, die die Rückseite des Knöchelschützers 1 mit dem Fersenbereich 8 zeigt, kann entnommen werden, daß dort die Bereiche 5 im wesentlichen parallel zur Beinlängsachse verlaufen. In Fig. 2 ist übrigens zu sehen, daß der gewünschte Effekt auch schon dann erreicht werden kann, wenn nur zwei gegeneinander abgesetzte Bereiche 5 - also zwei nebeneinander angeordnete Streifen - vorgesehen sind.
In Fig. 3 ist schließlich skizziert, wie der Schnitt durch den Ristbereich 7 (siehe Fig. 1) aussieht:
Ein nicht näher bezeichnetes, vorzugsweise textiles Trägermaterial, d.h. ein Stoffgewebe, trägt die einzelnen Polsterelemente 6 aus Weichschaummaterial, die voneinander abgesetzt sind. Die Oberfläche des Knöchelschützers 1 wird wiederum durch ein Stoffgewebe gebildet. Die Dicke der Polster 6 - in Richtung senkrecht auf die Fußoberfläche - beträgt zwischen 3 mm und 6 mm. Die Shore-Härte A liegt zwischen 25 und 45.
Als Kunststoffmaterialien für die vorstehend beschriebenen Komponenten, sowohl des Knöchelschützers 1 als auch des Schienbeinschützers 2 kommen insbesondere geschäumtes oder ungeschäumtes Polyurethan, Ethylen-Vinyl-Acetat, Polyamid, Polypropylen oder dgl . in Betracht.
Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Knöchelschützer 1 wird in vorteilhafter Weise erreicht, daß die neben den Knöcheln besonders schlaggefährdeten Rist- oder Fersenbereiche zuverlässig gegen die Einwirkung von Schlägen geschützt sind.
Trotzdem ist sichergestellt, daß eine optimale Anpassung an die Bein- bzw. an den Gelenkbereich des Unterfußes erreicht wird, da sich die abgesetzten Bereiche 5 anatomisch gut anpassen können.

Claims

Patentansprüche
1. Knöchelschützer (1), insbesondere in Verbindung mit einem fest oder lösbar mit diesem verbundenen Schienbeinschützer (2) für sportliche Zwecke, wobei der Schienbeinschützer (2) aus einer den zu schützenden Bereich des Beines (3) abdeckenden, hinterfütterten Schale (4) aus kompaktem
Kunststoffmaterial besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Knöchelschützer (1) in schlaggefährdeten Bereichen mit zumindest zwei oder mit einer Mehrzahl von gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereichen (5) ausgestattet ist, die jeweils ein Polsterelement (6) aufweisen.
2. Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der oder die schlaggefährdete (n) Bereich (e) der Rist- (7) und/oder der Fersenbereich (8) ist bzw. sind.
3. Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der schlaggefährdete Fersenbereich (8) der Achillessehnenbereich (9) ist.
4. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereiche (5) streifenförmig ausgebildet sind.
5. Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im Ristbereich (7) angeordneten abgesetzten Bereiche (5) im wesentlichen quer zur Beinlängsachse angeordnet sind.
6. Knöchelschützer nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die im Fersenbereich (8) angeordneten abgesetzten Bereiche (5) im wesentlichen parallel zur Beinlängsachse angeordnet sind.
7. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Polsterelemente (6) aus geschäumten Polyurethan (PU) bestehen.
8. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Polsterelemente (6) aus geschäumten Ethylen-Vinyl-Acetat (EVA) bestehen.
9. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die einzelnen, gegeneinander abgesetzten Bereiche (5) durch Thermoverschweißung gebildet sind.
10. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Polsterelemente (6) eine Dicke von 3 mm bis 6 mm, vorzugsweise von 4 mm, aufweisen.
11. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Polsterelemente (6) eine Shore-Härte A zwischen 25 und 45, vorzugsweise von 35, aufweisen.
12. Knöchelschützer nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß dieser im Bereich der beiden Knöchel jeweils mit einem außen angebrachten Knöchelschutz (Kappe) (10) aus kompaktem Kunststoffmaterial versehen ist.
