Abstract

Flache Gegenstände (5) werden zu Stapeln (9) zusammengetragen, indem die entstehenden Stapel entlang einer Zusammentragstrecke (1) hintereinander an Zuführungsstellen vorbeigefördert werden und indem an jeder Zuführungsstelle je ein Gegenstand (5) auf jedem Stapel (9) positioniert wird. Die entstehenden Stapel (9) werden auf Stapelauflagen (2) mit Auflageflächen (7) gefördert. D die Zuführungsrichtung hat dabei eine mit der Stapelförderrichtung parallele Komponente und die Auflageflächen (7) sind vorteilhafterweise nicht parallel zur Zusammentragstrecke (1) angeordnet. Die Gegenstände (5) werden im Bereiche einer Kante (5.1) durch je ein Halteelement (4) gehalten entlang einer Zuführungsstrecke (3) zur Zuführungsstelle gefördert. Die Zuführungsstrecke (3) kreuzt die Zusammentragstrecke (1) in der Zuführungsstelle. Die Gegenstände (5) werden mit vorlaufenden, gehaltenen Kanten (5.1) beispielsweise von oben zwischen aufeinanderfolgende Stapel (9) oder Stapelauflagen (2) eingeführt. Die gehaltene Kante wird durch Desaktivierung des Halteelementes (4) aus der Gehaltenheit entlassen, wenn sie den unteren Bereich der Stapelauflagen (2) erreicht hat. Der entlassene Gegenstand wird dann durch die Schwerkraft und/oder durch seine Trägheit endgültig auf dem nachlaufenden oder auf dem vorlaufenden Stapel (9) oder Stapelauflage (2) positioniert und das Halteelement (4) wird gegen unten weiter gefördert. Derartiges Zusammentragen eignet sich beispielsweise zum Erstellen von Liefereinheiten aus verschiedenen Druckprodukten. Es ermöglicht sehr kompakte Vorrichtungen, die bei vertretbaren Geschwindigkeiten mit hohen Leistungen zusammentragen können, wobei auch das Zusammentragen von sehr verschieden-formatigen Gegenständen ohne Probleme möglich ist.

Such collating is suitable, for example, for creating delivery units from various printed products.
