Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft die Verwendung einer Wolfram-Schwermetalllegierung für Werkzeuge wie Strangpressmatrizen und Strangpressdorne zum Warmumformen von Kupfer und Kupferlegierungen. Die Legierung besteht aus 80 bis 89,9 Gew.% Wolfram, 2 bis 7 Gew.% Chrom, Rest Bindemetall. Durch die Verwendung dieser Legierung wird vor allem eine deutlich verminderte Riefenbildung an der Oberfläche der Umformwerkzeuge erreicht.
