The packaging currently known on the market have a jar with a drink, a closure means and a seal stuck on the periphery of the drink. This guy packaging is more particularly used for condition soluble coffee, but can also be used for any packaging of powdered product. With this type of packaging, to open the jar, you have to tear the seal, which can cause problems with the possibility of having pieces of lid in the product from the jar. At the moment, instead of sticking the lid on the drink of the jar, we developed the technique of induction sealing. This technique consists of filling the jar of the product concerned and to arrive with the means of closure in which the cover is located on the jar filled and proceed with the induction sealing of the cap. The great interest of this technique is that can then, when opening the jar for the first time, delaminate the lid: to delaminate, you need a part gripping. Normally, it is a tongue that protrudes from the periphery of the jar drink. It could be interesting to have a delamination solution without the use of tongue.
The purpose of the present invention is to have a jar with an induction seal, in which the consumer can easily delaminate the seal, without presence of tab.
- a jar with a neck and a body, said neck having an external thread or bosses and a mouthpiece,
- a closure means capable of being screwed or snapped onto the external thread or the bosses of the neck of the jar and
- a substantially circular seal sealed over the entire periphery of the rim,
The closing means by screwing or snap-fastening are known per se and are not further explained in the present description. In the case of screwing, we have a thread on the neck of the jar and in the case of snap-fastening, we have bosses on the collar. The means of closure in both cases have cooperating fastening means with thread or bosses on the neck of the jar.
It is understood that the packaging contains all types of product, whether powdered, pasty, granular or liquid. It can be a food product as well, than cosmetic product, or any other type of product that can be packaged in a jar with a seal. We envisages, for example, according to the invention the soluble coffee packaging.
By jar is meant, in the present description, a container of substantially square or circular cross section or of any other geometry with a neck substantially circular on which comes to screw or snap the closing means. The closing means is a cover circular or polygonal, like hexagonal or octagonal.
The jar can be either glass, tin or in plastic. Plastic means plastic usable in the food sector, for example polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene. The cover is made of plastic. This cover is preferably made of polyethylene or polypropylene.
According to a first embodiment of the packaging according to the invention, the cervix has a zone particular which consists of at least one re-entrant part of adequate size. We thus have a small niche allowing you to pass a finger and pull the cover at time of use. This re-entrant part has as adequate size a width of about 1-2 cm and a depth of about 5 mm. In this embodiment, the drink has the same thickness around the entire periphery of the jar.
The seal used according to the invention is not critical. he can be of any type, namely aluminum or multi-layer with a sealable or other layer allowing a good sealing when passing under the sealing head by induction.
In a second embodiment of the packaging according to the invention, the cervix has a zone particular, in which the drinker comprises at least a flat, of such dimension that it allows an overflow of the cover. The flat is provided so that the cover overflows by about 4 to 6 mm. If we consider the neck of the jar substantially circular and the center of symmetry of said jar, we can consider a flat on a angle between 10 and 45 °. Preferably, the angle at center is around 20-30 °. It is understood that in this embodiment, the drink has the same thickness all around.
In a third embodiment of the packaging according to the invention, the collar drink comprises one or two particular areas, for which the thickness of the rim is less over a distance such that it allows a overflow of the cover. The difference with the solution previous is that in this case there is no flat, i.e. the rim is circular over everything the circumference, but it is the thickness of the drink which is less over a certain distance. This distance with area thinner is about 1 to 2 cm and it allows a protrusion of the cover of 1-3 mm.
The jar (1) comprises a body (2) and a neck (3). A cover (4) is sealed on the collar (5). We see well the thread (6) on which we will screw the means of closure (not shown). According to this form of embodiment, there is on the neck (3) a re-entrant part (7). The drink has the same thickness and this reentrant part has a width of 15 mm and a depth of 5 mm. At the time of use, the consumer removes the means of closure and pass the finger under the re-entrant part (7) to lift the cover (4): the product can be consumed and then it suffices to replace the closure means.
A cover (14) is sealed on the rim (13) of the jar. The thread (11) of the jar allows to screw the closing means (not represented). According to this second embodiment, the drinking from the neck has a flat (12), so that the cover overflows into (21) to allow the moment of the use of a good grip on said cover. The figure 3 makes it possible to specify that in this form, the angle in the center α is 30 °. In this case, the overflow of the cover is 5 mm.
The last two figures give a third form of embodiment, in which the jar (14) comprises a body (15) and a collar (16). The thread (18) of the jar allows screw the closing means (not shown). Drinking it (17) has a constant thickness, except on the two zones (19,20), in which it has a lesser thickness, of so that the circular cover (22) overflows into (23) from these two areas, allowing the user to take the seal well when it wants to delaminate. In the example of this figure, we have a drink having a thickness of 3 mm and in the zones (19,20), it has a 1.5 mm thick, therefore an overflow of the cover 1.5 mm on each side.
The present invention makes it possible to provide consumer packaging with lidding by sealing by induction, in which we have good solutions of gripping said lid, without having a tongue.
