With the foregoing and other objects in view, the invention consists of the novel construction, combination and arrangement of parts as hereinafter more particularly described, and as illustrated in the accompanying drawings wherein is shown an embodiment of the invention, but.it is to be understood that such drawings and description are to be taken as illustrative and that the invention is intended to be limited only by the scope of the claims hereunto appended.

Referring to the drawings in detail, the numeral 1 designates a bottle of the milk bottle slight upward'inclination from both sides of shoulder 4, which is indicated at 5, disposed diametrically opposite to the notch 3. When'it is desired to remove the cap, it is merely necessary to move a thumb or finger upwardly along the wall of the concavity 6 whereby the exposed edge portion of the cap will be engaged by the thumb or finger to remove the cap from its seat. A
It is thought that the many advantages of a bottle in accordance with this invention will be readily apparent, and although the preferred embodiment is as illustratedand described, yet it is to be understood that various changes in the size, shape and arrangement of parts may be made, so long as such changes fall within the scope of the invention as de r fined in the appended claims.
What I claim is: I 1. A bottle having its side wall formed with a circumferentially extending interior shoulder and further formed in its upper edge with notch having its bottom wall flush with the upper face of the shoulder, said shoulder extending at an upward inclination from both sides of said notch and having its uppermost portion disposed diametrically opposite to said notch,
