The particular object of the present invention is toprovide a closure of this class made up of two lseparately'florined parts,l and to provide a simple and eiicientmeans for positively locking said two parts rigidly together. While this invention may be lpractised in the manufacture of closures-forreceptacles having any size Openings, it is,'however, of particular value in the4 production of closures for receptacles having Arelatively small openings, such forvinstance'as ordinary catchup'bottles and thelike. In this structure the disk 13 may be made of paper or cardboard, and the closure be correspondingly cheaper, without detracting rom the rigidity of 'the connection of the disk within the tubular part.
As many changes could be made in the above construction and many apparently widely different embodiments of this invenbev interpreted as illustrative and not in a' tion could vbe made without departing from the scope thereof, it is intended that all matter contained in the above description or' shown in the accompanying drawing shall limiting sense.
