Die Kippbewegung des Sitzteiles 1 und des Lehnteiles 2 um die Querachse 4 ist durch nicht näher dargestellte Anschläge oder An- oder Auflagen am Gestell 5 begrenzt. Durch eine entsprechende Kippbewegung ist das Sitzteil 1 aus einer normalen Sitzposition gemäß Fig. 2 in eine Komfortstellung gemäß Fig. 3 nach hinten verkippbar. In der Ruheposition ist das Fußteil 3 nämlich platzsparend und nahezu parallel unterhalb des Sitzteiles 1 verborgen. In der Funktionsposition gemäß Fig. 3 befindet sich das Fußteil 3 in einer ergonomisch besonders günstigen Position. Bei einem gleichzeitigen nach hinten Kippen des Sitzteiles 1 und des Lehnteiles 2 wird auch die vordere Sitzkante des Sitzteiles 1 gemeinsam mit dem Fußteil 3 nach oben verlagert, wodurch für die ergonomische Sitz-/Liegeposition einer auf dem Sessel befindlichen Person eine äußerst vorteilhafte Lage erzielbar ist. Die Verlagerung des Fußteiles 3 zwischen der Ruheposition und der Funktionsposition erfolgt zwangsläufig bei einer Kippbewegung des Sitzteiles 1 und damit auch des Lehnteiles 2. Hierzu ist ein Steuermittel in Form einer Steuerstange 8 vorgesehen, die einerseits gemäß Fig. 1 am Fußteil 3 und andererseits an dem stationären Gestell 5 des Sessels angelenkt ist. Die Steuerstange 8 ist mit Hilfe von zwei dreidimensionalen Anlenkungen, vorliegend in Form von zwei Kugelgelenken 9, 10, mit dem Fußteil einerseits und dem Gestell 5 andererseits verbunden. Die Lage, Länge und Winkelausrichtung sowie Anlenkung der Steuerstange 8 ist derart gewählt, dass sich das Fußteil 3 in der normalen Sitzposition des Sitzteiles 1 in der Ruheposition gemäß den Fig. 1, 2 und 4 befindet. Bei einem nach hinten Kippen des Sitzteiles 1 in die Komfortstellung gemäß Fig. 3 drückt die Steuerstange 8, da sie sich am stationären Gestell 5 abstützt, aufgrund der Verlagerung des vorderen Bereiches des Sitzteiles 1 nach oben, das Fußteil 3 zwangsläufig in die Funktionsposition gemäß den Fig. 3 und 5. In gleicher Weise wird durch ein erneutes nach vorne Kippen des Sitzteiles 1 das Fußteil 3 wieder in die Ruheposition durch die Steuerstange 8 zurückverschwenkt. Die Kippbewegung des Sitzteiles 1 erfolgt in einfacher Weise durch Gewichtsverlagerung der auf dem Sessel befindlichen Position. Dadurch, dass die Schwenklagerung 6 mit einer hochwärts ausgerichteten Schwenkachse 7 ausgebildet ist, ergibt sich für die Funktionsposition gemäß den Fig. 3 und 5 zwangsläufig eine Selbsthemmung, da die Schwenklagerung 6 die durch entsprechende Beine erzeugte Auflagekraft auf das Fußteil 3 aufnimmt. Zusätzliche Arretierungsmittel sind für das Fußteil 3 somit nicht erforderlich. Gleiches gilt auch für das Sitzteil 1 und das einstückig verbundene Lehnteil 2. Denn die als Kippachse dienende Querachse 4 ist derart positioniert, dass sich in der Komfortstellung gemäß den Fig. 3 und 5 der Schwerpunkt der auf dem Sessel sitzenden Person hinter der Kippachse befindet, so dass auch hier eine selbsthemmende Endposition erzielbar ist, die erst durch eine nach vorne Verlagerung des Gewichtes der Person wieder aufgehoben wird.The displacement of the foot part 3 between the rest position and the functional position takes place inevitably in a tilting movement of the seat part 1 and thus also the Lehnteiles 2. Es ist auch möglich, bei einem Sofa die gesamte Sitzfläche gemeinsam zu verkippen und entsprechend zwangsläufig unter dem Sofa mehrere Fußteile pro Sitzposition heraustreten zu lassen. Bei einem anderen, nicht dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wurde auf eine zwangsgeführte Bewegung des Fußteiles abhängig von einer Kippbewegung des Sitzteiles verzichtet. Bei einem weiteren, nicht dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung ist eine Ausführung gemäß den Fig. 1 bis 5 vorgesehen, bei der zusätzlich auch noch der rückseitige Lehnteil relativ zum Sitzteil beweglich gelagert ist.In an embodiment of the invention, not shown, a sofa provided with a plurality of seating positions is provided as seating.
