Baulänge des Schlüsselgehäuses und Minimierung seiner
Außenabmessungen. - Ferner sieht die Erfindung vor, dass
die Bodenschale quer geteilt ist und die beiden Bodenschalenteile
miteinander und mit der Deckelschale verrastbar
sind. Bevorzugt sind die Deckelschale und das den Schlüsselschaft
aufnehmende Bodenschalenteil miteinander durch
Ultraschallschweißen oder Verkleben verbunden. Das den
Schlüsselgriff bildende Bodenschalenteil ist dann, auch zum
einfachen Austausch der Batterie, lediglich durch Verrasten
und folglich lösbar mit dem den Schlüsselschaft aufnehmenden
Bodenschalenteil 3 verbunden. Im Übrigen können die
Deckelschale und die Bodenschale und folglich das Schlüsselgehäuse
einen Zündschlüsselstumpf zum Einleiten des Montageprozesses
aufweisen, wobei bei der Schlüsseldrehung im
Zündschloß mit dem in der Regel ebenfalls
in dem Sendergehäuse angeordnete Transponder (Wegfahrsperre)

Im Folgenden wird die Erfindung anhand einer lediglich ein Ausführungsbeispiel darstellenden Zeichnung näher erläutert. Es zeigen:

In den Figuren ist ein Fahrzeugschlüssel 1 für fernbedienbare
Fahrzeugschließsysteme dargestellt. Dieser Fahrzeugschlüssel
1 weist ein Schlüsselgehäuse 2, 3 bzw. Sendergehäuse
auf, in dem eine lediglich angedeutete Fernbedienungselektronik
4 und ein mechanischer Notfallschlüssel 5
untergebracht sind. Das Schlüsselgehäuse besitzt eine
Deckelschale 2 mit einem Tastenfeld 6 und eine geteilte
Bodenschale 3 unter Bildung von zwei Bodenschalenteilen 3a,
3b. Der Notfallschlüssel 5 ist mit seinem Schlüsselkopf 7
an das eine einen Schlüsselgriff bildende Bodenschalenteil
3a angeschlossen, während das andere Bodenschalenteil 3b
eine Schaftaufnahme 8 für den Schlüsselschaft 9 aufweist.
Der Schlüsselschaft 9 ist mittels einer Rastsitzverbindung
lösbar in dem Bodenschalenteil 3b befestigt. Die Bodenschale
3 ist quer geteilt. Die dadurch gebildeten beiden
Bodenschalenteile 3a, 3b sind nach dem Ausführungsbeispiel
zur Entnahme des Notfallschlüssels 5 miteinander verrastbar.
Die Deckelschale 2 und die den Schlüsselschaft 9
aufnehmende Bodenschale 3 sind miteinander durch Ultraschallschweißen
oder Verkleben verbunden. Die Deckelschale
2 und die Bodenschale 3 und folglich das Schlüsselgehäuse
weisen im Übrigen einen Zündschlüsselstumpf 10 auf.In the figures, a

- A motor vehicle key (1) for remote-controlled vehicle locking systems, with a key housing (2, 3), in which a remote-controlled electronic unit (4) and a mechanical emergency key (5) are housed, wherebythe key housing (2, 3) has a cover shell (2) with a keypad (5) and a divided base shell (3) forming two base shell parts (3a, 3b),the cover shell (2) and the base shell (3) are equipped with an ignition key stub (10),the emergency key (5) with its key head (7) is attached to a base shell part (3a) forming a key grip, andthe other base shell part (3b) has a shaft recess (8) for the key shaft (9).
- The vehicle key as claimed in Claim 1, charactersied in that the key shaft (9) is fixed detachably in the base shell part (3a) forming the key grip by means of a snap-in connection.
- The vehicle key as claimed in Claim 1, charactersied in that the key shaft (9) is mounted to move longitudinally in the base shell part (3b) housing the key recess (8) and in the inserted state as well as in the functional position can be latched in the base shell part.
- The vehicle key as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 3, charactersied in that the base shell (3) is divided transversely and both base shell parts (3a, 3b) can be latched with one another.
- The vehicle key as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 4, charactersied in that the cover shell (2) and the base shell (3) are connected to one another by ultrasound welding or adhesion.
- The vehicle key as claimed in any one of Claims 1 to 5, charactersied in that the emergency key (5) is housed under the remote-controlled electronic unit (4) in the base shell (3) and the key head (7) presses a battery (11) against an electronic platen (12) of the remote-controlled electronic unit (4) when contact is made.
