Abstract

Es wird eine Brennkraftmaschine insbesondere eines Kraftfahrzeugs beschrieben, die mit einem Steuergerät versehen ist. Beim Starten der Brennkraftmaschine wird ein Druck auf den Kraftstoff ausgeübt. Der Kraftstoff wird in einem Schichtbetrieb während einer Verdichtungsphase oder in einem Homogenbetrieb während einer Ansaugphase direkt in einen Brennraum eingespritzt. Durch das Steuergerät wird der am Ende oder nach einer Einspritzung auf den Kraftstoff einwirkende Druck (p13danach) ermittelt. Durch das Steuergerät wird in Abhängigkeit von diesem Druck (p13danach) der Schichtbetrieb ausgeschlossen oder zugelassen.
