Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Ski- bzw. Snowboardbindung gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruches 1.The invention relates to a ski or snowboard binding according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such bonds are from the EP 0 383 104 A1 as well as the EP 0 546 992 A1 known. Incidentally, there is still a similar bond in the DE 91 17 298 U1 described.

In bindings of the type described above, the general idea is realized to insert the shoe holder assemblies in ski or snowboard side existing rail guides, which hold the shoe holder units, except in the longitudinal direction of the rail guide, by positive locking, and the fixation in the longitudinal direction of the rail guide through from the ski or Snowboard to cause separate tension members that are anchored to a bracket with virtually fixed position predefined. Such a construction offers the advantage that the ski or the snowboard in the region of the holder can be designed to be highly resilient without impairing the flexibility and tensile forces occurring between the shoe holder assemblies are largely kept away from the structure of the ski or the snowboard.

This offers the advantageous possibility of rail guides with very flexible, in particular also segmented To arrange guide rails, as it may be desirable in terms of optimum bending behavior of ski and snowboard. The holder or a housing of the holder can be fixed to the rail guide, in particular on a central portion of the rail guide, ie the rail guide is also used for the holder.

Instead, it is also possible to integrate the holder or its housing at least partially in the ski or the snowboard or in the structure of ski or snowboard.

The object of the invention is therefore to achieve a comfortable and extremely reliable backup of the tension members, which must be adjusted in size to fit in a binding of the type specified.

This object is solved by the characterizing features of claim 1.

Here, the general idea is realized to provide for the locking of each set positions of the shoe holder assemblies a permanently effective forced backup that can be turned off neither willingly nor unwillingly.

In a particularly advantageous embodiment, the tension members are formed by a threaded spindle which is axially fixed rotatably mounted on the holder and is screwed with a right-hand threaded portion into a female thread member of a shoe holder assembly and a left-hand thread in a corresponding female thread member on the other shoe holder assembly, so that upon rotation of the threaded spindle Shoe holder assemblies are either approximated or removed from each other. In this arrangement, so shift both shoe holder assemblies in opposite directions to each other when the threaded spindle is rotated.

Instead, it is also possible to provide separate threaded spindles for the two shoe holder assemblies. In this construction can optionally also be provided axially fixed to each screw on each shoe holder assembly and screw into an internal thread member on the bracket to change the distance between the shoe holder assembly and holder by rotational adjustment of the respective spindle can.

In all embodiments, the shoe holder assemblies may each have a base plate which can be displaced in the associated rail guide and which is coupled or can be coupled to the holder by means of the tension member. On the respective base plate then a front or rear shoe holder is mounted, one of these shoe holder may be slidably mounted relative to its base plate against a Anschubfederung, which seeks to urge this shoe holder in the direction of the other shoe holder. By the initial suspension a play-free mounting of the shoe to be fixed in the shoe holder assemblies is ensured, also undesirable tension between the shoe and shoe holder assemblies are avoided in bending movements of the ski.

Moreover, reference is made with regard to preferred features of the invention to the claims and the following explanation of the drawing, are described in detail with reference to the particularly preferred embodiments of the invention.

A ski 1, which may have a fundamentally conventional construction, carries on its upper side in the region of the ski area two parallel rails 2 extending in the longitudinal direction of the ski, which in the example illustrated corresponds to FIG Fig. 2 to the vertical central longitudinal plane of the ski have symmetrical profiles with upwardly obliquely outwardly directed edge webs. On these rails 2, a front and rear base plate part 3 and 4 and arranged between the base plate parts 3 and 4 support housing 5 are guided displaceably in the longitudinal direction, wherein the support housing 5 is fixed immovably by pins 6, which in corresponding mutually aligned recesses in the support housing. 5 and the rails 2 are used.

In the support housing 5, a threaded spindle 7 is mounted radially and axially, which has a toggle-shaped handle 8 for its rotary operation, which is accessible through an upper opening of the support housing 5. This handle 8 can be used in cooperation with interspersed by the threaded spindle transverse walls of the support housing 5 for axially non-displaceable mounting of the threaded spindle 7.

The threaded spindle 7 has in the longitudinal direction of the support housing 5 outstanding right and left threaded portions 7 'and 7 ", which are screwed into corresponding nuts 9 and 10, which in turn are fixedly disposed within the base plate parts 3 and 4 or at least axially with rotary adjustment of the threaded spindle 7, the base plate parts 3 and 4 respectively shifted in opposite directions, wherein the distance between the base plate parts 3 and 4 in the ski longitudinal direction increases depending on the direction of rotation of the threaded spindle 7 or reduced.

Due to the self-locking design of the threaded sections 7 'and 7 "of the threaded spindle 7 and the cooperating nuts 9 and 10, the respectively set distance between the base plate parts 3 and 4 remains unchanged without special securing measures, however, an additional liftable lock can be provided Handle 8 additionally be secured against adjustment by means of a locking or locking lever or by a fact that a the access opening for the handle 8 in the support housing 5 final lid acts in its closed position as a lock.

To optionally make a quick adjustment of the threaded spindle 7, a bevel gear 11 may be rotatably disposed on the threaded spindle 7, which in the example of Fig. 3 integrally connected to the handle 8 and is integrally formed on the handle 8. This bevel gear 11 cooperates with another bevel gear 12, which is rotatable about an axis perpendicular to the ski top axis within the support housing 5 and has an accessible from the top of the support housing 5 from extension 13, in its upwardly facing end face a slot-shaped or non-circular recess for Coupling an electric screwdriver or the like. is arranged. In this way, by means of a motor-driven tool (here screwdriver), the threaded spindle 7 can rotate comparatively quickly to cause correspondingly large changes in position of the base plate parts 3 and 4.

In order to avoid that the threaded spindle 7 is visible or is exposed to dirt attacks when the base plate parts 3 and 4 are set in a more or less large distance from the support housing 5, can be arranged on the support housing 5 as corresponding covers 14 formed extensions. In the example of Fig. 2 and 3 these covers 14 are formed as half-tubes, which rest with their open longitudinal side on the ski upper side. The bracket housing 5 facing edge of the base plate parts 3 and 4 then has a matched to the outer contour of the extensions or half-tubes 14 recess through which the cover 14 can be inserted into the interiors of the base plate parts 3 and 4.

The base plate parts 3 and 4 are used to arrange toe and heel side shoe holder 15 and 16, which are arranged by means of appropriate fastening screws on top of the base plate parts 3 and 4. This arrangement corresponds structurally in principle a basically possible direct mounting of Shoe holder 15 and 16 on the ski upper side.

One of the shoe holders 15 and 16, usually the heel-side shoe holder 16, is provided with a longitudinal guide 17, in which the shoe holder 16 is displaceable against the force of a start-up suspension, not shown in a direction away from the support housing 5 direction. Thus, the possibility is created in a known manner to keep the shoe shoe 15 and 16 to be fixed by means of the shoe holder without play. In addition, an excessive tension of the shoe in the shoe holders 15 and 16 is avoided in deflection of the ski by the start-up suspension.

By adjusting the longitudinal distance between the base plate parts 3 and 4, an adjustment to any shoe sizes can be made in each case.

Notwithstanding the illustrated embodiment, in which the rails 2 are fixedly arranged on the ski 1 or integrated into its structure, an arrangement is also possible in which the rails 2 form detachable parts from the ski 1 or are arranged on parts detachable from the ski 1 ,

Furthermore, the support housing may be wholly or partially formed as part firmly connected to the ski 1 or its structure or integrated into the structure of the ski 1.
