Claims (31)

  1. Locking system (4) for pieces of furniture, especially for office furniture or factory furniture, having a first and a second furniture element (2, 102, 202, 302; 3, 103, 203, 303) movable relative to each other and movable into an open position and a closed position, comprising
    a latching unit (6, 106, 206, 306, 406),
    connectable to the first furniture element (2, 102, 202, 302) of the piece of furniture and
    having a latch (24, 124, 424), as well as
    a locking unit (5, 105, 205, 305, 405),
    connectable to the second furniture element (3, 103, 203, 303) of the piece of furniture and
    having a remote controlled retaining element (10, 410), comprising a housing (14, 414) and a locking piston (15, 415), displaceable between a retreated releasing position and a closing position pushed out of the housing (14, 414) and in which it retainingly interacts with the latch (24, 124, 242),
    characterised in that
    the locking unit
    comprises mechanically acting locking means (18, 118, 418) for locking the locking piston (15) in the retreated releasing position against a displacement into the pushed-out closing position, which locking means can be deactivated by the lock (14, 124, 424) of the latching unit (6, 106, 206, 306) by moving the furniture elements (2, 102, 202, 302; 3, 103, 203, 303) into the closed position,
    wherein the locking means are displaceable between a locking position, in which they lock the locking piston (15, 415), and a releasing position, in which they release the locking piston (15, 415), and
    wherein the retaining element (10, 410) is displaceable into a locking position retaining the latch (24, 124, 424) only when the furniture elements (2, 102, 202, 302; 3, 103, 203, 303) are in the closed position relative to each other.
  2. Locking system according to claim 1,
    characterised in that
    the retaining element (10, 410) is formed as a lifting magnet.
  3. Locking system according to one of claims 1 or 2,
    characterised in that
    the locking means (18, 118) are represented by a flexible tongue, displaceable between a relaxed position, in which it locks the locking piston (15), and a loaded position, in which it releases the locking piston (15).
  4. Locking system according to claim 3,
    characterised in that
    the latch (24, 124) has a displacement face (28), by which the tongue is held in the locking position of the two furniture elements (2, 102, 202, 302; 3, 103, 203, 303) in the loaded position.
  5. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised in that
    the locking means (415) are represented by a locking lever (418), pivotable between a locking position, in which the locking piston is retained, and a releasing position, in which the locking piston is released.
  6. Locking system according to claim 5,
    characterised in that
    the latch (424) has a displacement face (428) by which the locking lever (418) can be moved into the releasing position and can be retained in this position.
  7. Locking system according to one of claims 5 or 6,
    characterised in that
    the latch (424) has a recess (425), in which a retaining lever (426), pivotably arranged in the locking unit (405), can be retained in the retaining position.
  8. Locking system according to claim 7,
    characterised in that
    the retaining lever (426) is loaded by a spring (439) in the direction towards the retaining position.
  9. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 8,
    characterised in that
    the locking unit (5, 105, 205, 305, 405) comprises a sensor (12, 412) for registering the position of the locking piston.
  10. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 9,
    characterised in that
    the locking unit (5, 105, 205, 305, 405) comprises
    a bearing (11, 411) for receiving the retaining element (10, 410),
    a circuit board (13, 413) for connecting the retaining element (10, 410) and the sensor (12, 412) as well as
    a housing (7) for housing said components (11, 12, 13, 411, 412, 413).
  11. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 4,
    characterised in that
    the latch (24, 124) has a recess (25), engageable with a retaining nose (26) of the housing (7).
  12. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 11,
    characterised in that
    the latch (24, 124) is formed elastically.
  13. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 11,
    characterised in that
    the latch (24, 124) is loaded by spring means (31).
  14. Locking system according to one of claims 12 or 13,
    characterised in that
    the latch (24, 124) is locked by the locking piston (15), positioned in the locking position, against displacement.
  15. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 14,
    characterised in that
    the bearing (11, 411) comprises
    a wall (16, 416), enclosing the retaining element (10, 110, 410),
    an aperture in the wall (16, 416), which enables the passing of the locking piston (15, 415) from the retreated releasing position into the pushed out closing position, as well as
    the means (18, 118, 418) for retaining the locking piston (15, 415).
  16. Locking system according to claim 9,
    characterised in that
    the sensor (12, 412) is connected to the bearing (11, 411) and is arranged next to the aperture (17, 417).
  17. Locking system according to claim 9,
    characterised in that
    the sensor (12) is connected to a signal unit (20) for producing an acoustic or optical signal.
  18. Locking system according to claim 10,
    characterised in that
    the bearing (11, 411) is retained together with the retaining element (15, 415) and the sensor (12, 412) on the circuit board (13, 413) and is detachably connected by means of this to the housing (14, 414).
  19. Locking system according to claim 18,
    characterised in that
    the housing (7) is formed in two pieces and has a housing lid (9, 409) and a housing frame (8, 408) having a hollow space, wherein in the mounted state of the locking system (4, 104, 204, 304, 404), the bearing (11, 411), the retaining element (15, 415), the sensor (12, 412) and the circuit board (13, 413) are arranged in the hollow space of the housing frame (8, 408) and are closed-off by the housing lid (9, 409), wherein furthermore, the housing frame (8, 408) has an aperture, through which an electric cable (22, 422) can be extended from the hollow space.
  20. Locking system according to claim 10,
    characterised in that
    the housing (7) has a bore (30) and that the latching unit (6, 106, 206, 306) has a pin (29), which enters the bore (30) when closing the two furniture elements (2, 102, 202, 302; 3, 103, 203, 303).
  21. Locking system according to claim 20,
    characterised in that
    the pin (29) is formed conical at its end.
  22. Locking system according to one of claims 1 to 21,
    characterised in that
    the locking system (4) comprises a control unit (23), which activates the movement of the locking piston (15) from the retreated releasing position into the pushed-out closing position and vice versa.
  23. Locking system according to claim 22,
    characterised in that
    the control unit (23) comprises a time switch clock.
  24. Locking system according to claim 22,
    characterised in that
    the control unit (23) comprises a transmitter (33) and a receiver (32), wherein the receiver (32) is arranged to the closing unit (5, 105, 205, 305) and for switching of the locking piston (15) can receive commands from the transmitter (33).
  25. Locking system according to claim 22,
    characterised in that
    a plurality of latching units (5, 105, 205, 305) can be controlled together by one control unit (23).
  26. Locking system according to claim 22,
    characterised in that
    the transmitter (33) and the receiver (32) communicate with each other on the basis of radio waves or infra-red waves.
  27. Locking system according to claim 22,
    characterised in that
    the control unit (23) comprises means for checking the authorisation for switching of the locking piston (15).
  28. Locking system according to claim 27,
    characterised in that
    the means for checking the authorisation are represented by a magnetic card reader, chip card reader, a key board or a finger print sensor.
  29. Piece of furniture having a locking system according to one of claims 1 to 28,
    characterised in that
    the first furniture element (2, 102, 202) is formed as a sliding door, a swing door or a folding door and that the second furniture element (3, 103, 203) is formed as a body.
  30. Piece of furniture having a locking system according to one of claims 1 to 28,
    characterised in that
    the first and second furniture element (302; 303) are formed as roller shutter doors or as folding doors.
  31. Piece of furniture according to one of claims 29 or 30,
    characterised in that
    the same has a plurality of first furniture elements and a plurality of correspondingly fitting second furniture elements, wherein to each pair of first and second furniture elements a closing system according to one of claims 1 to 28 is arranged.
