Description

METHOD FOR OBTAINING A BUILDING MATERIAL
This patent consists of a method for obtaining a building material consisting of two visible plates, a first and a second plate, between which there is at least one layer of insulating material, and one or more cavities for joining the two plates together by means of a material having identical or similar characteristics to those of the first plate.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Panels used in construction that are joined together with an insulating material are well known, however none of them incorporate a material that is like the plates to be joined, providing the union and support between the plates, in such a way that the material joins the plates to each other and at the same time to the insulating material itself, enabling a much greater degree of cohesion between the parts, since they are all joined to each other.
The brick or block element is also eliminated, reducing the construction weight by more than 50%, with the subsequent savings in transport and ease of handling of the same.
The need to perforate the walls for the installation of electrical or telephone wiring and water pipes is also avoided since the insulating material is of a smaller surface area than the first and second plates, so that in the resulting recessed space, when the pieces are joined to each other, a place is created for the placement of telephone and electric wiring, water pipes, etc.
The patent DE 3109732 describes a building block that comprises an inner block part and an outer block part, between which there is provided a heat-insulating layer which extends essentialy from one bearing surface to the other and from one abutment surface to the other. The two blockparts are connected via webs which likewise consist of heat-insulating material.
The patent US 4557093 describes an insulating building block made up of an insulating core and two concrete walls, eachcast over one side of the core. The latter comprises a body having opposed parallel flat outer faces, bound by parallel longitudinal edges and parallel side edges, and having a transverse plane normal to the outer faces centrally between the longitudinal edges. Locking protrusions are formed integrally with the body and project from the outer faces.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
In order to facilitate the explanation, this report is accompanied by two pages of drawings which show several practical cases of the embodiment of the invention. Said drawings are quoted only by way of example and are not limitative of the scope of the present invention.
In said pages of drawings:
  • Figure 1 is an exploded view of the object of the present invention.
  • Figure 2 is a sectional view of Figure 1 at the moment in which the material or fluid is added.
  • Figure 3 is a sectional view of Figure 1 at the moment in which the excess material or fluid is removed.
  • Figure 4 is a sectional view showing the case in which a hole has been partially bored through the first plate.
  • Figure 5 is a sectional view showing the case in which a hole has been entirely bored through the first plate.
  • Figure 6 is a perspective view of the building material once the procedure for its obtainment has finalized.
  • SPECIFIC EMBODIMENT OF THE PATENT APPLIED FOR
Figure 1 shows an image of several plates and a second one (1), as well as a block of insulating material (3), several holes (41) made in said block of insulating material (3) and other holes (40) made in the second plate (1).
Figure 2 shows the first plate (2), the second plate (1), the block of insulating material (3), a cavity (4), which is the result of lining up the aforementioned holes of the second plate and of the block of insulating material with each other (40, 41), and a material or fluid (5) that is deposited inside the aforementioned cavity (4).
Figure 3 is the phase following the one developed in Figure 2. In this case, a scraper (10) is used to remove the excess material or fluid (5), smoothing the surface of the second plate (1).
A specific embodiment case is shown in Figure 4 where a hole (50) has been bored in the first plate (2) in such a way that the cavity (4) extends to the second plate (1), the block of insulating material (3) and part of the first plate (2).
Another specific embodiment case is shown in Figure 5, where the two plates, first and second, and the block of insulating material are bored through entirely, in such a way that a cavity can be formed (4) from the top surface of the second plate to the lower surface of the first plate.
The last figure, Figure 6, shows a view of a piece of building material where, once its manufacturing procedure has finalized, the first plate (2), the second plate (1), the block of insulating material (3), the cavities (4) and the convex edges (6) of the layer of insulating material can be seen.
In this way the block of insulating material (3) is positioned on top of the first plate (2), and the second plate (1) on top of the aforementioned block of insulating material (3), making the holes in these different surfaces line up with each other in such a way as to form a cavity (4).
Material or fluid (5), susceptible to hardening and having adherent or bonding properties, is poured through the mouth of said cavity (4) until filling it completely.
In the event of a certain excess quantity of said material or fluid (5) spilling from the cavity mouth, the excess is removed with a scraper (10), cloth, or any other object, utensil or machinery that might be destined to this use.
When the material or fluid (5) hardens inside the cavity (4), its adherent properties provide consistency and cohesion to the final piece produced.
It is likewise foreseen that the layer of insulating material adopts a convex shape along its edges (6), with the purpose of forming, when a succession of said pieces of building material exist, conduits through which, for example, wiring or pipes can be run, without having to dig out nor cover the structure itself.
It is also possible to make undercuts (not illustrated in the drawings) on the first plate (2) and the second plate (1) with the purpose of correctly positioning the block of insulating material (3) in relation to said first and second plates (2, 1).
The design also includes the possibility for at least one of the plates to incorporate, in the molding phase, a grate and one or several rods (not shown in the drawings), positioned in such a way that they traverse the cavities (4).
The block of insulating material (3) has the technical characteristics of being a thermal and acoustic insulator, and shielding against electromagnetic radiation. The block is obtained by molding the insulation material inserted between the two plates.
Thus the aforementioned block of insulation material (3) has a surface equal to or less than that of the previously mentioned first (2) and second (1) plates.
The materials used in the manufacture of the first and second plates have the characteristic of at least locking together beginning from a previous liquid phase or locking together from a previous liquid phase that in turn has liquefied beginning from a previous solid phase.
This patent describes a new "Method for Obtaining a Building Material". The examples mentioned herein are not limitative of the present invention which, as a result, can have different applications and/or adaptations, all of them within the scope of the following claims.
