    Claims (3)

    1. Multipack for cigarette packs (11) of the hinge-lid-box type - so-called cigarette multipack - in the case of which a pack group (10) is enclosed by a multipack blank (16), made of thin cardboard, paper or film, to form a large-surface-area front wall (17), a corresponding rear wall (18), side walls (19, 20) and end walls (21, 22), it being the case that an opening or a window (27) is formed in the region of the large-surface-area front wall, sub-regions of the pack contents being visible through this opening or window, and that the cigarette packs (11) which butt against the front wall (17) have their front side directed towards the front wall (17), characterized by the following features:
      a) the cigarette packs (11), namely hinge-lid boxes, have a window on the front, which is bounded by partially spaced-apart closing edges (34, 35),
      b) the window (27), which is arranged in the region of the front wall (17) of the multipack blank (16), is dimensioned in the longitudinal direction of the front wall (17) such that a sub-region of the front side (17) of one cigarette pack (11) is visible over the full width and sub-regions of two adjacent cigarette packs (11) are also visible, preferably approximately half the width of the adjacent cigarette packs (11),
      c) the geometrical shape of the window (27) in the front wall (17) corresponds to the shape of the window of a cigarette pack (11), namely hinge-lid box.
    2. Multipack according to Claim 1, characterized in that the window (27), on account of the dimensioning and positioning in the region of the front wall (17), renders visible a front sub-region of a lid (32) and of a box part (33) of cigarette packs (11) of the hinge-lid-box type.
    3. Multipack according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the window (27) is provided with a transparent covering fitted on the inside, in particular with a film blank (40) which is fitted on the inside of the front wall (17) and covers the window (27) to the full extent.
