Abstract

The sheet feed monitoring device (1) has a sensor element positioned above or below the sheet stream and an associated setting device with a setting drive (9) for moving it towards and away from the sheet stream, provided by a piezoelectric actuator (11), rotated about an axis (13) coinciding with its center of gravity. An Independent claim for a control method for the sheet feed to a printing machine is also included.
