Claims (9)

  1. A strip accumulator for metal strips, particularly a spiral-type strip accumulator for thicker steel strips that can be continuously delivered to a processing system from a cross-welding system that operates in strip section intervals, wherein said strip accumulator comprises an outer basket (2) and an elevated inner basket (3), and wherein the metal strip (1) to be delivered from the cross-welding system can be stored in the outer basket (2) upright on the strip edge (1a) and guided into the metal strip outlet (6) leading to the processing system from the outer basket (2) by means of the elevated inner basket (3), namely over the metal strip (1) stored in the outer basket (2),
    characterized in that the strip accumulator comprises a bending device (4), by means of which the metal strip (1) can be guided into the metal strip outlet (6) from the outer basket (2).
  2. The strip accumulator according to Claim 1,
    characterized in that the bending device (4) is situated within the outer basket (2) and arranged on the inner basket (3).
  3. The strip accumulator according to Claim 1 or 2,
    characterized in that a series of guide rollers (8) for the metal strip (1) is arranged in the inner basket (3) such that an approximately helical plane (7) is formed.
  4. The strip accumulator according to Claim 3,
    characterized in that the last guide roller (8) is arranged on the helical plane (7) about diametrically opposite of the inlet (5) for the metal strip (1) on the outer basket (2), namely such that it is inclined 15-25° in the twisting direction and extends in alignment with the metal strip outlet (6).
  5. The strip accumulator according to Claim 3 or 4,
    characterized in that the helical plane (7) is arranged eccentrically referred to the inner basket (3) and/or the outer basket (2).

    characterized in that a twist roller block (9) is arranged outside the outer basket (2) at the metal strip outlet (6) such that it is in alignment with the helical plane (7), wherein said twist roller block forms the metal strip outlet (6) together with another twist roller block (10) and a downstream extraction driver (11).
  7. The strip accumulator according to one of Claims 1-6,
    characterized in that the horizontally lying metal strip (1) can be transported through one or more twist roller blocks (10) in the metal strip inlet (5) of the outer basket (2) by means of a driver station (12).
  8. The strip accumulator according to one of Claims 1-7,
    characterized in that a feed driver station (14) is arranged in the tangential metal strip inlet (5) of the outer basket (2) upstream of the outer basket (2) referred to the transport direction (13).
  9. The strip accumulator according to Claim 8,
    characterized in that roller pairs (18) for the metal strip (1) with vertically extending axes (17) are provided at least on the inlet (15) and/or on the outlet (16) in the feed driver station (14), and in that at least height-adjustable guide rollers (19) for different strip widths (20) are provided on the inlet (15).
