Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de transmettre et de distribuer des données multimédia, au moyen de structures de données (100) «Poignée» dans des sessions de courrier électronique ou de conversation. Lorsqu'un utilisateur envoie une «Poignée» (100) par une session de courrier électronique (218) ou de conversation active à un autre utilisateur, le destinataire peut accéder au même données multimédia que celles auxquelles l'expéditeur accède sur le réseau. La «Poignée» peut être utilisée pour régir ou limiter l'utilisation des données multimédia par le destinataire, par exemple par soumission à une facturation. En outre, cette invention permet de synchroniser le rendu des données multimédia en de multiples emplacements, pour plusieurs utilisateurs, de sorte que chaque utilisateur accède aux données multimédia simultanément quelque soit son emplacement.
