Abstract

Bei einem Verfahren zum Brennen von karbonathaltigem Brennmaterial bewegt sich dieses durch Schwerkraft im Gegenstrom zu Kühl- und Verbrennungsluft durch einen Schachtofen (1). Die Zufuhr von Brennstoff erfolgt dabei durch quer zur Schachtwand in das körnige Brennmaterial hineingeschobene Brennlanzen (13). Bei Begrenzung der Korngrösse und der Verweilzeit sind durch diese Art der Brennstoffzufuhr bis zum Hartbrand geeignete hohe Brenntemperaturen möglich, ohne dass ein Zusammensintern des körnigen Brennmaterials auftritt.

In a method for burning carbonate-containing fuel, it moves through a shaft furnace (1) by gravity in counterflow to cooling and combustion air. The fuel is supplied by firing lances (13) which are pushed into the granular fuel material transversely to the shaft wall. If the grain size and the residence time are limited, this type of fuel supply up to hard firing enables suitable high firing temperatures without the granular fuel material sintering together.
