Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a traqq frame for a PC workstation, a shelf or the like, with only two supporting columns that one each, extending in the direction of view of the user, lower support element are worn and between which at least one horizontal shelf can be attached is.
Such supports for computer workstations have recently been required, the computer being arranged on a lower shelf, at least one screen and further accessories on a middle shelf and a printer finally being arranged on an upper shelf. The middle shelf can also have a slide-in receptacle or storage for the keyboard and mouse pad.
Such a PC system stand can preferably be moved on rollers.
Such supports can also be used for files and storage in offices, but also for workplaces in other companies, as well as for shelves.
Such support frames with four columns are very stable Wear shelves at the corner areas. Much better of The shelves and the ones on them are accessible on all sides arranged devices if the shelves only on two each supporting columns attacking its central area, especially in the area of the longitudinal center line. Here, the Fastening between shelves and columns, but also the Record torques that are practically unavoidable when off-center Storage or loading of the shelves occur.
The invention has for its object to provide a support frame to create only two supporting pillars, in which the Shelves can also be loaded off-center, while the load-bearing columns with the shelves can be assembled quickly and easily and be removable so that the support frame during transport and Storage takes up only a small space.
The solution to this problem is according to the invention that two concave flanges are connected with their backs to one of two opposite sides of the shelf, that the side edges or wings of the flanges have a smaller distance a from each other than the width b between corresponding contact surfaces on the columns, and that each flange can be pressed onto the column facing it by means of at least one connecting element. is.
The cross-sections of the flanges essentially correspond to the profile of the contact surfaces on the pillars, but are angled or curved somewhat more.
For the pressed or pre-stressed connection of the flanges with the associated columns are preferably provided that each flange has an upper screw hole and a lower one Has screw opening, the distance from each other the distance corresponding threaded openings on the columns.
When screwing tight, the respective flange clamps with the Pillar and enter into an intimately rigid relationship with it, man receives a positive connection that also occurs Can absorb tilting moments.
A shelf is already known from GB PS 23 26 328 and also GB PS 23 26 329, in which several shelves are also supported by only two side columns. However, the columns below are not supported on feet or supporting elements extending in the direction of view or transversely to the width of the shelf, but rather the shelf is to be supported against a wall by means of an upper connecting strut, so this shelf is not able to stand on its own.
The shelves on this shelf are supported by two side angle profiles, on the outside of which a half-shell is attached, which comes to rest against a column, while a pin engages in a hole in the column. The half-shell is therefore not pressed against the column, so that the connection is not non-positive, but only positive, this connection is less firm and secure, especially less suitable for absorbing off-center loads.
From US Pat. No. 3,096,107 a connection system for building a supporting frame for a scaffolding is also known. However, as is usual with scaffolding, four vertical support columns are provided. Two horizontal beams extend between the supporting columns, on which the actual work platforms can be placed. At the two ends of each horizontal beam, C-shaped clamping members are attached, which are each clamped or screwed to the opposite column. The horizontal beams are not connected to the back or the middle part of the C-clips, but to one leg of the C-clips. Therefore, this type of connection is not suitable for absorbing tilting moments as in the support frame according to the present invention.
The prestressed connection is preferably realized in that each flange has an upper screw opening and a lower screw opening, the distance from which corresponds to the distance between corresponding threaded openings on the column. Thanks to the two screw connections or the veitical distance between the screw connections, the forces to be absorbed by the respective screws are reduced during the transmission of the torques due to eccentric loading of the shelf. The lower screw opening is advantageously open towards the lower edge of the flange, preferably opened conically. During assembly, the flange with its screw opening, which is conically open at the bottom, can thus be inserted from above onto a screw that is only half screwed in; this is preferably done essentially simultaneously on both columns; now the shelf is already stable on the two lower screws. Now the upper screw can be screwed in at leisure and finally all screws can be tightened.
