Abstract

Eine Schutzkappe, bestehend aus einer elastisch verformbaren Hartschale (3) und einer diese aufnehmenden Hülle. Die Hartschale (3) hat ein oberes, auf der Schädeldecke aufliegendes Schädeldeckenteil (15), ein Vorderkopfteil (16), ein Hinterkopfteil (17) sowie zwei Seitenteile (18, 19). Weiterhin weist die Hartschale (3) zwei Gelenke (20, 21) auf, welche jeweils durch zwei symmetrisch von entgegengesetzten Seiten in die Hartschale (3) hineinführende Ausnehmungen (22, 23) gebildet sind. Die Hülle hat Verstellmittel zum Verstellen des Umfangs ihres über den Kopf greifenden unteren Randes (8).
