Definitions

  • the invention relates to a diaphragm pump with hydraulically driven diaphragm according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • the membrane as a central element fulfills the dual function as a static seal and displacer in the form of an elastic delivery chamber wall.
  • the static diaphragm seal is the basis for the hermetic tightness of diaphragm pumps.
  • the membrane also transmits the oscillating stroke movement of a drive to the fluid to be pumped, whereby not only the pulsating promotion, but also an interaction with the fluid masses in the piping system comes about.
  • membrane pumps with hydraulic diaphragm drive the oscillating movement of a drive member via a hydraulic reservoir, which comprises a hydraulic fluid, transmitted to the membrane.
  • the hydraulically driven diaphragm always works pressure-balanced and only has to withstand deflection stresses.
  • PTFE polytetrafluoroethylene
  • Conventional membrane constructions are pure PTFE membranes with rotationally symmetrical wave contour or flat contour and PTFE as a protective layer on elastomer membranes.
  • PTFE as a diaphragm for diaphragm pumps
  • the reasons for these limits are beyond the sufficient cold-flow strength and sealing pressure of the PTFE in the Membraneinposition.
  • design measures e.g. By a suitable groove structure, it has been possible to counteract the cold flow within limits. The crease hinders the flow of the membrane material from the membrane clamping. As a result, the yield strength in the membrane clamping can be raised to values far above the yield stress from the tensile test. Only then was it possible to achieve a secure seal at 350 bar.
  • a membrane design is provided with an edge-side, elastic annular bead which, when the diaphragm is clamped, engages in a corresponding annular groove of the pump body.
  • a sealing concept is suitable for low pressures of about 10 bar and is thus limited to the pressures of the usual diaphragm pumps described in this context.
  • Another diaphragm pump according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from FR 1 373 780 A.
  • a cavity-forming fabric layer is provided as the membrane intermediate layer, which can be used as an alternative to a membrane with radial slots.
  • This tissue layer is intended to establish a connection from the membrane interspace to the outside in order to realize a membrane rupture signaling.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object, a membrane pump og. To make available type, which the o.g. At the same time, the negative effect of "breathing" of the pump head in the region of the membrane clamping should be counteracted.
  • the elastic member comprises at least one axially effective profile ring, which is designed as a lip seal and elastically compensates for reductions in the pressure force occurring in the clamping region of the membrane between the pump cover and the pump housing during operation of the diaphragm pump.
  • the diaphragm pump is also suitable for high pressures, for example above 350 bar, and for higher temperatures, for example above 150 ° C, as occurring in this area deformations of the pump cover and pump housing, resulting in a decrease of the contact pressure in the clamping area would be effectively balanced.

  • the hydraulic chamber 14 is connected via a pressure-limiting pressure relief valve 26 and designed as a sniffer valve refill valve 28 with a hydraulic reservoir 30. Furthermore, support surfaces 31, 33 are provided, which limit a working space of the membrane 10 laterally. Here, 31 designates the hydraulic-side support surface and 33 the delivery-chamber-side support surface.

As a result, a sufficient surface pressure of the membrane clamping 38 is ensured even at high pressure and temperature loads, which go beyond the allowable loads of known diaphragm pumps.
  • the inventively embodied Membraneinput 38 thus includes a balance of elasticity, since in the clamping region 38 of the membrane 10, the elastic member 40 is provided.

  • FIGS. 2 and 3 designates the center of the membrane 10, which at the same time is to be regarded as a rotational symmetry axis.
  • the desired elasticity compensation is thus achieved by the formation of the elastic member in the form of at least one axially effective profile ring.

Description

  • Fig. 1
    eine Membranpumpe im Schnitt,
    Fig. 2
