- Advantageous is the fact that it is possible at all times to adjust the mesh width of the netting by compressing the netting to a larger or smaller extent. When the netting is compressed, the mesh width is reduced and it is more difficult to see through the netting, or less light can pass therethrough, whilst the mesh width increases when the netting is extended.
- the diameter of the meshes of the net structure can be adjusted in dependence on the purpose for which it is intended.
- the aforesaid compressing requires little force for that matter, because the entwined wires do not need to be deformed by said force, but they will have to be movable with respect to adjacent entwined wires, by means of which the structure has been woven into netting. Adjacent twined wires can also be fixed together, if desired, in which case it will not be possible to vary the mesh width, however.
- an inexpensive and common textile, paper and/or a plastic such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), for example, is selected as the flexible material.

- Wires 2 may be provided with a coating, if desired.
- the combination of strips 3 and wires 2 thus formed extends in a zig-zag manner, and it has been woven together with a corresponding adjacent combination to form a final netting as shown in Figure 1.
- Flexible material 3 may for example be a textile, a paper and/or a plastic, such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), for example.

- Figure 2 shows one of said applications, in the shape of a cone, in which for example lamps, flowers or other products can be hung or draped. It will be understood that it is possible to realise a multitude of permanent shapes, or shapes that can be changed after some time, with the netting.
